Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a historical action-adventure open world stealth video game being developed by Ubisoft Quebec and to be published by Ubisoft. It is set to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and for Microsoft Windows. It is the ninth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and the successor to 2014's Assassin's Creed Unity.
In 1868, at the tail end of the Industrial Revolution, with the Assassin Brotherhood all but eradicated, twins Jacob (Paul Amos) and Evie Frye (Victoria Atkin) leave Crawley for London and arrive to find a city controlled by the Templars, with both the Church and the Monarchy losing their power. Raised as Assassins to follow the Creed, Jacob and Evie aim to take back the city from Templar control by infiltrating and uniting London's criminal underworld, aided by notable figures of the era such as novelist Charles Dickens, biologist Charles Darwin and inventor Alexander Graham Bell, foundational philospher of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale and Queen Victoria.

Well it may be a matter of religious opinion. But for some there is no doubt he was a devil. No doubt he belonged to the underworld. No doubt about where he would be going at the end. But on the religious Christian side the Christians may be more concerned with forgiving him and turning their other cheek than metering out rightful justice.

DavidOfTheDead Actually it is a myth. Look up the word myth. Jack The Ripper wasnt actually found they just found some letters and a few dead bodies. Jack The Ripper coulda easily been multiple people. But no one has ever found him, therefore to most historical researchers, he was never real. Ik I wasted time typing that because at the end of the day, no one really gives af about other peoples opinions.

Is it just me? Or did Ubisoft find their niche? A detective game, with all of their mechanics and engines. Much like Rockstar's LA Noire.
I agree, it's a fairly untapped market honestly. LA Noire was so awesome because it's fairly rare for a mainstream game to put you in the role of a police officer. Ubisoft's tech would work very well for this sort of thing.

I've been down the streets of Whitechapel before. Nowadays it's a low-mid income neighbourhood in London, nothing special if it weren't for its past. Not only have I had the alleyways where Jack committed his terrible deeds pointed out, but I have a picture of the Blind Beggar pub, the place where the Kray twins shot one of their rivals and became the undisputed kings of London's underworld in the late 1960s.
This is amazing, I hope you make more parts of this DLC. Jack The Ripper is so creepy yet awesome.
The bit where she visits the murder scene between 10:30 to 13:10 is brilliant example of how this game draws you in. Am seriously enjoying playing it right now.

I like how in the beginning and throughout the game jack literally brutally and publicly kills multiple people but he’s never caught or recognized once.

The weapon you got from that was amazing, and the storyline from it was much more improved than the main protagonist's. Not too much to do to improve on it though.

@@MasterLoda Then you are missing literally the best part. After Brotherhood is where it slowly starts going downhill a bit (although it too is quite the masterpiece). AC2 is by far the best of the series. AC1 is a little buggy, but a great introduction and vital to understand the story and get emotionally invested in the characters.

I'm watching this late so I don't think anyone will see this anyway, but I think that Jacob is not dead because when I played the WWII storyline Lydia's grandfather (Jacob) and her grand-aunt (Evie) are alive, just somewhere else safe. So of course Jacob must've survived the attack. Or, he did die, or was kept quiet, because I was reading AC Syndicate trophies and one of them in the Jack The Ripper DLC shows that Jack was kept a mystery forever and the secret of his identity is buried.

Its not Jack The Lad... Thats way to easy. The real Jack The Ripper was a famous serial killer who killed mostly hookers, he killed them in brutal ways to feel power like most killers want to feel. Jack was never identified because he never left any evidence. Because of the professional looking murders they suspected that he was a soldier or a payed assassin who went mad. Acording to some old document he was shot once but escaped fixing himself, this leaves that he had medical skills. ( sorry for the bad english. All the info can be found in documenteries and books. )
