As a kid growing up watching this series I admired how calm Ernie used to be when everyone was wild. I looked up to that discipline. And what a finish to this fight. Must have watched that over and re-enacted it many times (or tried to as is couldn't back flip).
It's really more like a movie than a miniseries. Ernie Reyes, Jr. also played Keno in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, which also came out in 1991, the same year as Secret Bodyguard. He did stunt work as Donatello in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), but Corey Feldman voiced Donatello. Ernie Reyes, Jr. also played Johnny in Surf Ninjas (1993). And like in Secret Bodyguard, his dad Ernie Reyes, Sr. played his character's uncle, who in Surf Ninjas is Zatch.
@@healthandbeauty101 yes it surely was something that gave me inspiration to train and focus and go for it.Yes and the actress who played Brittany! She is a definite Hottie.
I'm mad they didn't put Mike Carter (Russ Rocchi) up there. He was my favorite teacher before he left our studio. We became U.S.A. Martial arts sometime after this. He trained me well for a year and a half before he opened his own studio.
Michael Carter = Russ Rocchi. He was my martial arts teacher for a year and a half before he left our martial arts studio. We were all part of West Coast Ernie Reyes before my Master Jim L. Buhisan decided to open U.S.A. Martial Arts. So yes I have met Ernie Reyes Sr. (Uncle Benny) and Ernie Reyes Jr. (Ernie Rey). All of them are great martial artist and I'm proud to have been part of there champions.
mdub2000 Brittany was played by Heather Campbell, she guest starred on Melrose Place, did a couple of movies, and was the first Neely Capshaw on Baywatch. she hasn't acted in years though.
For those that have been to San Diego there are many areas in the Gas lamp zone the cosmopolitan theater is one of the them as you can see in the Down Town area the vegitable warehouses that are union districts. The movie I liked very well and the backdrops perfect to film movies at such as a Karate film such as this one. My reviewers score for this one is a big 10+.
I work with a guy that seriously looks like Ernie Jr. This looks like a good film, maybe not in production, but a good message. Find the balance Daniel San!
I never seen the whole thing from beginning to end until now! nysom66 THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this on here, it was as good as I thought it would be!
The movie was great I really like it. I miss movies like this no bad scenes where u Would have to fast forward through today's movies . some times I do miss the 80 s and 90 s earr . They just don't make movies like this anymore they now call it classic Movies or old movies boy those were the days where I can't stays at home watching martial arts movies and then go back to school on Monday and show their friends what they have learned over the weekend.

they never make movies like this no more its all so different with scifi what can i say call me a old fashion buh i got my tastes hope u guys do as well
Ernie Reyes Jr. is American like his father Ernie Reyes Sr., his grand-parents on his father side immigrated to the United States in 1920. Ernie Reyes Sr. has five children: Ernie Jr., Lee, Destiny, Espirit, and Ki. There is no recollection of their mother who probably did'nt want to be in the limelight and keep it personnal.
youtube dumped me into this shit at the 5th or 7th episode, I forget now, only stuck it out to see Rick get his face pushed in. Not sad I sat and watched to the end.

Me too. I remember they would play part of this movie every Thursday and I would look forward to it every week. Also, had a huge crush on the girl.
