oh man you just brought back some memories! When I lived in London, I worked in tourism, and in 2008 (possibly 2007) was a huge international tourism convention. As soon as I saw you get off the tube at Canary Wharf, I started remembering 🙂 So much of what you saw was not there at the itme, BUT the more I watched, the more I remembered where the convention had been...Excel! Thanks for that awesome walk down memory lane 🙂(London City Apt was so new at the time!) Custom House station -- that's what it was! I don't remember a cable car.

You do such great tours. London is my spirit city and I try to get there once a year. I live in Canada but when it's just you on your own, you can get overseas once a year LOL. Mind you trod on Dad while you were walking on Canary Wharf LOL. He was in the Merchant Navy so many years ago we put his ashes on the docks at his ports. A bit in Glasgow, a bit in the Mersey and a bit in the Thames.

Loved your vlog! I stayed at this hotel on my last trip when I spent time in Greenwich. Such a wonderful experience, great restaurant/breakfast and unique, very small but comfortable room. Loved the history of the hotel as it was a floating prison in the Netherlands that was sailed down and made into the hotel. (This explains the small rooms but they weren't as comfortable then as they are now, I'm sure). Thank you so much for each of these visits to London! very informative and I can't wait for my next visit to the area!

I cruise out of South Hampton in May taking 2 days before the cruise to see South Hampton. Then 3 days after the cruise to see London. I know it won't be nearly enough time to see everything so there will be multiple trips. Thanks for giving me some more ideas of what to see.

I'm a new sub to your channel and I have to say that you have a great way of narrating your vlogs and also about my favorite city on this planet too. I don't know why London is my favorite city because I don't even live there, I know it's quite an ancient city like 2000 years or maybe more? I live in Canada about 30 minutes west of Toronto. I plan to one day soon visit London and maybe even live there too. I watch many of the walking tour videos of London and can't get enough of it. Wow the docklands look great. You need to try Australian Fish and Chips. I'm very surprised the menu is so different to Aussie. We don't have pies or pastry in fish and Chips they are in a bakery. Do you have dim sims, Spring rolls, potato cakes? Gummy shark?
@TravelWithBen121 I just meant to try Australian version of Fish and Chips. Meaning you have to come down here to eat them. Aussie fish & Chips are different. We have Chips like you, a range of different fish snapper, shark, cod,hake, whiting, Blue grenadier, barramundi etc. Scallops, prawns, mussels, fish cake, hamburgers etc. I agree with how you like your Fish & chips they must be fresh and crunchy. We don't call them chipperies, they are called Fish and Chips. We don't have curry sauce 😕 or spice bags like you do. But we have made our own at home.
The Crossrail garden was lush, I always love going to the one at The Barbican (work round the corner). I saw a few plants I grow in my garden, it's so hot in summer now. Banana trees, some of the palms and now I have an Olive tree I inherited from my late neighbour - actually got olives off of it this year, but still not hot enough to ripen them unfortunately. I do like your enthusiasm For the rude suits, work on your "Really?" face. I've perfected it. I also growl, helps a lot to get my point over... I've seen the Sunborn and I'd love to stay there, but Good Hotel looks awesome, basic but cheaper!!! Looks superior to the Big Sleep in Cardiff at any rate, that was so mash) You didn't get a plane coming over so close you feel you can wave the pilot?

That indoor garden looks really nice. A relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I've done iFly a couple of times and loved it. Nothing like jumping out of an actual plane, but maybe that makes it easier to try for many people. Funny enough I've also only been to Nando's once, and that was one of their few locations that are here in the US (Chicago). The place where time began, I did know what you were talking about! That is an amazing view from your room. I love being on the water and that hotel really delivers on that! They really made the most out of the space they had. What a cute cozy room. They really have an interesting take with the little worry dolls, thats cute. That sausage in batter looks quite tasty, and I think I mentioned on your fish n chips video I really do like chips vs fries.

North Greenwich is nothing like Greenwich proper, get it the DLR at Cutty Sark station, village feel rotten centre, market, then walk over to Greenwich park if you want to see the gmt line up the hill by the royal Observatory

Your lips were moving, but I didn't understand what you were saying. 😂 That Good Hotel looks amazing. I wouldn't mind staying there. I live in a coastal town, so we have lots of fish & chips. We have one place that is exceptionally good (by American standards). I agree that cod is the best, but I am also quite fond of fish & chips made with halibut. I once watched a YT video about London and an American made a comment on the page that the one thing he didn't like was that there were no trees, so I replied that there are actually more trees in London than people!
Small point but but I have to disagree with your pronunciation of Nike. While the American shoe company and the Greek Goddess are pronounced differently neither is pronounced the way you did it. I'll make an attempt to spell them phonetically --the shoe is nigh-key and the goddess is knee-kay--or something close to that. 😀
