Im shocked at how people dont liek the robotic side, im curious when you add liquid after disgorging. Could I use a brandy with a suoer high sugar content to get a sweat champagne? I dont see why not.

It is usually a base wine and depending on the sugar level you want to achieve, a bit of residual sugar (usually obtained by RCGM). You can search for liquer d'expédition.

People on the comments, how do you think a traditional-method sparkling wine produced today? Do you want to drop the gyropalettes and do riddling manually as well?

Why would you do this by hand. There’s no advantage at all. 😂

@@jonathandavis9507 ...and WHY would you title a video the "art" of disgorging only to show a bunch of machinery? Care to tell us exactly where the "art" was in this?

@@theghostofsw6276 It really doesn’t matter what you call it. Hand disgorging is slow, messy, unpredictable and makes the final product more expensive and less consistent.

@@jonathandavis9507 It's CLICKBAIT.....you potato. Are you seriously sticking up for lousy clickbait videos? Once again......where's the "art" in this, that people came here to see?
