So far we've seen the Nameless Hero, Diego, Drax, Corristo, Thorus, potentially Herek, Mud, Snaf and in the first trailer, the pissed off guard could very well be Bloodwyn. And then there's a look from the back at Lester, Gorn and Milten.
Climbing was always a part of Gothic. That's why :) So... Unreal Engine 5 eh? Wll.. it is common knowledge that the Unreal Engine 5 is capable of quite a lot of beautiful things, but nonetheless... it remains to be seen what is to come. I also think it's safe to assume that the upcoming Gamescom will provide the Fans with an oppurtunity to play a demo.
I guess that is right but "Pulling yourself up ledges" and a more free climbing. I did not connect that well. More important to me than graphic is always game feel. All things said of course are on assumption and watching a Trailer. I'm excited to get my hands on it and than we all know more :)
@@UstraAhazu Well... let's just say that my expectations have been reduced to a minimum over the past 2 decades and as a long time diehard Gothic fan since the very beginning, I am skeptical, because Gothic is not just a single player RPG. Gothic is the definition of immersion.
I honestly feel like it's been becoming too dang overused at this point. Its versatility is really making it more of a tiresome sight to see with little to no variety from other developers like in the old days.
The Scavenger was always bony, their texture was just really bad :p you can see the hero with all 4 friends from behind tho in one scene. I think the Things that are getting grilled by the fireballs are actually Biters, like the one that guard the entrance to the orc cemetary^^ They also said they would dive deeper into stuff that Piranha Bytes didnt really finish back in Gothic 1, like the Tower with that magic almanach (you can actually see it in the trailer), that bandit camp near the Troll, having a fully functionable arena with fights where u can bet^^ etc.
Some of the deep dive stuff sounds good to me. Thank you for the more detailed reply. I remember that they got way closer to the og ideas of the monster looks. Sad they didn't drop a release date, but it looks promising and as they said of course it is difficult to "match the memories we all already made with the game"
yeah ppl where also saying that about the new game cover that gorn does look rather weak to wield a 2 handed axe all day long.^^ We will see how it will look ingame
I agree Diego looks good, but we saw that look of Diego already in other trailer and it was not a new thing. More is not always better, hopefully climbing is only limited to very specific places. In the End we know after we played it.

Gorn don`t look like Gorn, he looks so skinny, while he was bulky and more muscular.

I hoped for a release Date
