Creature comforts such as toilets and air-conditioning are necessary for ensuring a livable environment for the LP and the ALP, so that they can discharge their duties at their peak efficiency without fatigue. However, a major need of the hour is a surge in locomotive production. We have to use WAG-5, WAG-7 and WAG-9 locos for many passenger services because there are no passenger electric locos available for the regular services, which is not ideal because despite these locos having the TE for hauling passenger rakes, the acceleration is too slow to gain any good average speed in any section. If this refit/rebuild would slow down loco production, that would create more problems than it solves. Also, Vande Bharat expresses are not the solution because they are too premium for regular passenger services. Coming to the Amrit Bharat Expresses, they are not a standalone solution again, because making these sets consumes TWO locomotives per trainset compared to one, which exacerbates the loco shortage.

Upar se toilet ka gate tabhi khulegi jab train ruki hui ho, chalti train mein toilet use nahi kar sakte loco pilots, to fir locomotive mein toilet dene ka koi mtlb hi nahi reh jata hai. Agar train rokna hi hai to loco pilot to niche utar kar loco ke just piche lage coach ka toilet bhi to use kar sakte hai.

Chalte hue pressure aa gaya to rukne ka wait karenge kya. Tab to yeh complete waste hain. Loco pilot ke comfort ke liye hain ya trouble ke liye.
Safety First. Loco mein 2 loco pilots hote hai, koi bhi galti undono mein se kisi ne bhi ki to, naukri dono ki jayegi sath mein.
