Wow Pancake is super cute. I really think keeping the M5 at least semi stock is worthwhile. A proper M5 should be fast but also able to transport you and three friends out to dinner in comfort. I think a good goal for the build would be to take your friends out to dinner but to do a lap with them on the way there.
As I commented on the other vid, you are living the dreams of many. The crazy thing is that you are becoming a part of ppls dreams when they envision visiting the Nurburgring. I’m definitely biased, but an Avus Blue E34 M5 ring tool....legendary. Kinda like Batman finally got a proper batmobile.

Was fun to see this one again. I am not a BMW fan as I just don't care for their styling. Although... I love this car. The styling is timeless and quite attractive and with that 3.8 it will be quite quick. I'm glad you are going to keep it somewhat stock.

I think same way. .... People was telling me I should go with 2017 GT-R. Or 2014 at least. ! Why would I buy low mileage GT-R for 70k to 100k plus. Where I'm going to mod it. Drive it . Snow. Shine ... No garage queen so i picked up one 09 GT-R for 42k. Second owner. No mods! No accidents . I slapped AMS stage 2 trans .. still have tons of room left as money wise... these Ms are my fav for sure! Love the color. Pierogi's are amazing too ! Cheers

I've got my own, a Subaru Legacy 2.0 Turbo from 1992, that I renovated for 4 years and made a trip through Europe at 2018, just 5600km in 3 weeks including a ringlap. Have to come back and do some more laps. And I know what happens to wintercars in good shape..

Mod the engine as much as you can, keep outside stock as it doesn't need anything. You can keep it for shopping, taking Pancake out, bomb around the ring.....etc
It's not my place to say but I'd keep the M5 Stock "+". Upgrade the brakes, lighter weight cluch + flywheel, suspension that works well on the road. Engine...well a bit of a case of ''how deep is your wallet''. 4 litre conversion would be epic obviously, but I'd start with carbon airbox and exhaust. Interior I'd keep mostly stock, upgraded headunit so you can have bleutooth and well fitting bucket seats (so still comfortable). A M5 GT3 RS if you will....and then up to you to make it a 4.0 🤣🤣🤣 A full on track spec in my opinion will be less enjoyable.
Tha could work, but the plan is to just have the car delivered here. And then post a regular onboard lap and at the end of the video just say "by the way, this is my new car".

I wish it was you that got my car, instead realised yesterday I sold to an absolute asshole, who lied all through what his genuine intentions were, tried everything in the book to get that car for pittance knowing full well he wanted to make profit, car would have been better with a true petrol head. Feel so very gutted. My car was never crashed and the interior is like new after 16 years with me.
