I really like your approach with isolating the various tracks, and glad that you are generally up to speed on The Warning. It will be fun if/when you cover some of The Warning's songs that have their iconic 3 part harmonies, and I'll always love hearing Ale's bass lines in isolation, its not always all that high in the mix.
I would love to see you look at Pau singing lead in "23". Isolated vocals while actively playing drums would be interesting. A clinic for a vocalist exercising near perfect breath control
Honestly, either is great. The biggest difference is how much crowd you get as well as a few things in the Pepsi show that’s kinda special because of the band’s 10 year anniversary celebration.
@@audiology411 Personally I believe the Pepsi Center videos are an upgrade in almost every way. Better performances, better stage, better lighting, better camera angles, better sound mixing, better crowd interaction. Beto Ramos outdid himself with the audio mix.
@@audiology411totally agree. The Pepsi stuff is a great show, hugely entertaining, but sonically it's messy compared to the Metropolitan concert. The girls musical performance at Metro is also better than the Pepsi one. It's more precise, better harmonies, but probably not as much fun to watch!
Welcome to The Warning rabbit hole . . . 10 yeard a band and near 60 original songs . More from The Warning Army TWA will pop in for a chat with history and song sugestions . Have subbed for more from them . Till next time take care . Bye from New Zealand 👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa
Very nice reaction and analysis, I really appreciate the way you isolated parts, it really does help to understand their harmonies and how well the melodies fit with the singing; the only other UA-camr who has gone into this sort of detail is Fil of The Wings of Pegasus, but his analysis also looked for Pitch correction (he didn’t find any). Looking forward to what you choose next, you have already told us you know them and seem to be a big fan; welcome to TWA - aka The Warning Army, you’re in good company!
Fantastic analysis, love that you focus on each instrument and vocals. My hearing is not what it used to be. Having these stripped out gives me the chance to hear what I think I hear. Also, I attribute their strong songwriting skills to learning classical piano between the ages of 4 to 6. It was later they chose the instruments they play now. Can't go wrong with a classical foundation. Very happy to become a subscriber.
I would actually attribute their strong song-writing skills to the music theory that they were taught. Being able to play classical music doesn't innately teach one music theory, but does teach how to master playing the instrument.
You can tell Dany is sometimes working a bit to reach those high notes in the chorus in this particular performance. (To be fair, this was in Mexico City, which is at a very high elevation.) A year later, at the Pepsi Center, she was sticking those same notes more solidly. The OMV for this song is The Warning’s second most-viewed video, only exceeded by that viral “Enter Sandman” cover.
@@charleswharmbyiii8401 Indeed she does. I think she spent the year between TM and PC working on her voice training. Then again, in the TM performance, she’s throwing her head back at the high notes, and maybe that was giving her problems (if you’ve seen Phil Zero’s reaction to “Evolve” at the VMAs, you know what I mean).
Again, I paused your video at the start because I wanted to tell you I just watched your reaction of their cover of You Ought To Know. After watching, I liked and subscribed. It's nice to find a reactor who is honest and true with their reaction. Oh, and clean, that also is nice. I can handle some curse words, but constant gd is a quick and heavy stop, cut, end and never go back for me. I really like the way you separate the sounds. Very cool. Hearing your opinion is also good. I'm subscribed.

Freeze The Fall are 17yo Quinn, guitar/vocals taught herself guitar to The Warning's Queen Of The Murder Scene album when she was 11yo, Aria 16yo, bass/vocals and 16yo Jonah on drums. Some of us TWA have been supporting them for their debut ep called Thrones and now their new project. be good to one another and ROCK ON !!

Wait did I get lucky enough to find a new and different reaction channel. Isolating voices and music? It may be elsewhere but it’s the first I’ve seen it, let’s goooo. Time to get into the Warning /Liliac debate
Cool toys! I wanna hear Dany isolated in Hell You Call a Dream live at the Pepsi Center. Every passing year somehow Dany gets a software upgrade and reaches new levels as a vocalist. Not surprising for a girl who's 17 but a woman in her mid twenties shouldn't still be leveling up yearly. She's awesome to me!
I like your format for the analysis of songs. One piece of feedback tho. If possible, set your mic up in the software to mute the music by about 20% when you speak. Talking over the music makes it difficult to hear your comments. Otherwise, looking forward to more! Subbed!

To break out the stems, I use a web site called "LALAL.AI". To get the best results, I first "grab" the video I want to break out, then export an MP3 audio-only track, then "normalize" the audio (to get the best signal gain), which I have found makes for better stems. I then upload that MP3 to break out the individual stems one-by-one. I have found that using the SAME MP3 over-and-over, re-uploading each time you breakout a new stem (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, etc.), results in the best overall stems, that have the most clarity and fidelity. I then mix them together in Cakewalk (any DAW would work), sync to the original video, and there you go! Some songs can't be broken out cleanly, and the results stink, so not everything sounds good after the tool has an attempt at breaking out the individual instruments, but you'll figure that out with trial and error... ;-)
Very cool reaction. I can't wait to hear more reactions to the Warning and also Band Maid an all femake rock band from Japan. If you've not heard them, you'll be glad to get to know them. I ran across you this morning, and I'm glad I did. Great format.
WHY DO REACTORS INSIST ON TALKING OVER THE VIDEO!?!?!?!? You even paused rewound and then proceeded to talk over it again!!!! Look I clicked on the video to listen to what you had to say about the song, performance and the band in general BUT that's kinda hard to do when you're trying to focus on the song and what you have to day...
I'm sorry?! I also am fond of reactions and analysis videos but for me, I DON'T like when they stop and talk continuously, I prefer quick comments in the music, with anything too long, resulting in a replay. I'm sorry you don't like the "live" commentary, honestly, I am trying to put something out that doesn't drag out too long (but also lets me voice my feedback). If you want the song alone, there are many ways to hear it; this isn't to say I don't accept your criticism, I just don't know how to accommodate AND still give my commentary, without constantly stopping, which for me, is far worse... :-\
@@audiology411 Like I said, I clicked on your video to hear what you have to say about the music, group and or performance. I know I could just watch the original video and have many times. I guess this will be the last video I watch of yours unfortunately because what I could hear from you was pretty good.
