Awww thank you. The before and after pics even shocked me. From what it was to what it has become is great. I think the constant rain we've been having has helped for sure lol
As I have mentioned before, the last time we had a wet summer like this was back in '92, followed by a scorching August and a freezing winter of -25°. So, be prepared . If you need to buy wood get it now before the autumn/winter prices. Just get the wood in and stack it high. Our farmhouse is fuelled by wood - the kitchen cuisinière does the cooking + 7 central heating radiators and there"s th open-fronted Godin wood-burner in the sitting room. Therefore, I process, fell, cut, split and season a minimum of 8 cordes (24 stères) every year..and I'm getting to the age where I might need to get someone in to help. So.... Melon patch looks amazing btw.
@@Anyone4music Just checked the weather and it’s gonna hit 31 this week. Last year it was 38. Ordered the wood two weeks ago. 4 stieres and kindling. Kindling was free because we ordered it in the summer. Go figure. It’ll get here on the 1st August Last year we didn’t order it until October, got here in November soaking wet. Not making that mistake again 🇫🇷👍
