Really interesting video, mate!😁 I'm not a basketball fan, but Mads is a big NBA fan, so probably in the future I will end up in one of these arena's too.😅

This was awesome! One of the handful of arenas we still need to visit. Great to see that the food selection isn't terrible 😂 Back when we went to Orlando to see the Magic vs Knicks, it was like a Knicks home game, especially because the home crowd hated Dwight Howard and it was the end of the Linsanity run (he was already out with injury by then 😭)
But it's sad that MSG prices are so $$$$, hard to justify going to games.

LOL poor Dwight Howard. That was still kind of like prime Dwight too.
Seriously! Gotta take out a loan just to see them play at home 🤦

Hi all I'm from California amd have never been to DC but i plan to go in March for the cherry blossoms and then see some sights. Hopefully the Kings or Celtics are in town so i can check out capital 1. I've been to staples and golden 1 in Sacramento. How is capital 1? Is tje area around it safe? Golden 1 is amazing but i know ots also much newer. Thanks for the info? Also best areas to stay thays kinda central to all the sights

The area is ok. It’s in the middle of the city so there’s a lot going on. To be honest when we go to DC we usually stay a little outside of the city like the Arlington area. Hope this helps

“Is this their only championship?” UH, KNICKS FANS… you only have two championships. You only have ONE MORE than The Bullets/ Wizards.

That comment wasn’t made to brag or anything. It was out of general wonderment. Cause as Knicks fan we absolutely have no right to brag. Thanks for watching! 😃

I think it would be helpful to point out the futility of the Washington team in the NBA, they've failed to get into the playoffs, as of the 2025 draft night, six of the past seven years, 12 of the last 17 years, 18 of the last 27 years, 27 of the last 37 years, 28 of the last 43 years and 29 of the last 45 years. They've won a opening round in the playoffs only three times (2014,2015,2017) in the past 20 seasons, four times in the last 43 seasons (2005 and the three aforementioned years). And it's unfortunate that the franchise uniform evolution history display on the concourse at the arena has no acknowledgements of the major league basketball history of D.C. during the 25 year period from 1946 to 1970 when three different teams made the city their home from three different league organizations, the Basketball Association of America (B.A.A.), 1946 to January 1951, the American Basketball League, October to December 1961 and the American Basketball Association in the 1969-70 season.
