Hey, I almost went that route! Sort of like an "ultimate fightstick project" that got all of the highest end components over a series or something. It's hard to find a good equivalent when it comes to PCBs though. Plus enclosure aesthetics are also so subjective. Maybe I'll come back to this at some point when inspiration strikes (or when I find some fair equivalents that match the lever). Thanks as always for the support!
Ngl I was a bit disappointed that this amazing stick was just kinda slapped on a different build. I was expecting a full Satan build, red and black buttons, the artwork something Satanic, etc. Still awesome and hilarious tho!
@@nugzmedallion8929 The beauty of these fightstick components is that they can be swapped easily. Maybe in the future I can lean into a full devil build. To keep in line with purely premium stuff, I'd have to go to the drawing board for some of these components (like, what does an ultra premium case look like? Ultra premium button?). I'll give it some thought.
I always love watching this channel to see how creative you can get like with the rooflemonger video for example. It makes wish I was that creative and had the know how to go even further with this type of stuff. Overall, this was an amazing video (also loved the soundcheck at 3:57, I just love how smooth and clicky it sounds)
Hey, thanks for the nice words! I appreciate the comment and your support. I've got some fun things planned in the creativity department so stay tuned...
I like that the nylube is red. Any idea if there are full collar lever housings available somewhere in other colors than black and white, whether nylube, delrin or some other material? I have a black-themed stick with a black Korean full collar (belonging to a Myoungshin Fanta) sticking out and white-themed one with a white Golden Lever full collar sticking out. I love that look, but would also love other color options.
Hmm...I'm not as well-versed in all of the full-collar options out there, but I know that you can find low profile K levers with non-black housings. I have a purple and a green Sanjuks V6, and a dark red Coorejam V4. So I'm sure there's something out there that would tick that box for you. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Where did you get that first switch plate? I have been looking for one for the original switches since i dont like how the shuriken makes the stick feel and was wondering if that might help
Remember those back alley fightstick discord channels I mention in the vid? That's where. Those particular switches come from a user called "TheTrain" if that helps narrow it down. But there isn't really a storefront or anything, just payments via PP among users on the discords. There are definitely some really cool products that come up from time to time though.
There's another video on this channel about custom balltops with some examples from different vendors/fabricators. This one was a custom one-off from More-Door Gaming for this project.
Hard to put a true total value on it since some of the components aren't easily obtained, but it's probably a ~$300 lever. Nylube V3 base lever ($125?), stainless pivot ($10), ember carbon plate ($30), titanium short shaft ($25), set of blood diamond switches ($85-125), v1 Shuriken ($10), Nylube actuator and anodized screws ($10), custom balltop ($50?). I have cool fightstick friends, so a lot of the stuff was donated to me for this project (so I wouldn't feel right about selling it). But now you have a benchmark price if you want to tool out your own. Thanks for watching!
@@PlatinumMage BitBang sells the Shuriken. I got the balltop from More-Door Gaming. Those switches come up sometimes, but there's not a true source since they have been discontinued. You can get a Sanjuks V3 lever from Istmall or Buttercade, but they won't be the Nylube version (there were only 55 of those made, so you'll need to grab one from someone who unloads one secondhand, typically on a fightstick discord). You can find the stainless steel pivot on various arcade part wholesalers or grab one on a discord. "TheTrain" sold the ember carbon plates on backdoor fightstick channels. I don't think there is any more beyond that initial run, so you'll have to get secondhand from someone willing to part with it, or I think he's going to do a blue flek run at some point (so imagine this plate, but blue sparks instead of red). Buttercade and others sell the shorter shafts. Piecing this together yourself will take some time and energy, but you can do it if you have the patience and money.
I'm not quite sure what you mean. You can remove the e-clip and pull the lever shaft out (and the rest of the components). You can use detachable shafts, but I didn't in this build because I wanted a lower profile lever and that meant I need a short shaft.
@@HushMySweet1 Thanks for answering. By popping off I mean if the bobbin ever got out of the stick. I read stories about the steel bobbins poppin from the stick while on the middle of a game and that.
There's quite a few. One of the bigger ones is just the offshoot from the r/fightsticks subreddit, so that would be a good place to start. Thanks for watching! discord.gg/qmXS8xbM
That's probably how much it cost, actually, but I got a lot of the parts from donations so I feel it would be bad form to sell. But if I ever get some more of these blood diamond switches, I could likely put something similar together again since I hoard parts and I ended up snagging another mounting plate and another V3 Nylube housing since this video dropped. I just gotta keep my eyes peeled for the switches again (or use the modded ones)... Thanks for watching!
The "I'm Sorry, Jon" build was always my favorite. That lever is sick and def deserves its own build!

Amazing video as always brother ❤🎉
I appreciate your support! 🙏🙏🙏
The best part indeed. Pretty sick!
🤘 Thanks, dude!
Seems like devilman would have fun playing his video games on that joy stick😈🔥
Very sinister indeed 😈
lol, did you like the picture at 0:55? Good lookin' lever there!
@@HushMySweet1 Yeah lol i saw! Makes me want to reconsider getting rid of it!
Comment for the algorithm, great stick as always.
I didnt realize those pivots fit in the sanjuks nice. Ill try it
Yep! Same with springs and shafts as well.
Nyloop EVERYTHING!
lol, YES! I actually did inquire about some Nylube pivots but it doesn't look like they exist. Yet...
Nice stick!! really wanna make some carbon fibre plates for sanwa

Please post side by side game play and piloting of joystick with clicky sounds!!!
lol, like some joystick ASMR or what? Just a video showcasing clicks of various levers or what are you thinking?
@@HushMySweet1 Yeah. Give us an ASMR segment of this build. You have to!
was wondering where do you buy those balls

What pivot do you use? Is it from the otto diy?
I believe the ones from the Otto DIY kits are teflon; this was a stainless one. I think I grabbed it from Buttercade? Thanks for watching!

si no es analoga, no sirve, es primitiva
The game is so buggy right now and the audio and character interaction is garbage. Big let down
I haven't played a ton of SF6 just yet, so I can't comment on that. Hopefully the game turns into something you like though.
Sounds like a personal problem
