sis ......omg is video saved me sooo much time.... I brought foil glue a few months ago in it just does a horrible job..... soo I went back to the drawing board in found your video I was like hmmm I've tried about everything but this video for nail tech I'd highly recommend this video for anyone trying to lean how to do foil 💅 period.

Which side of the foil do you use? I bought foils with a coloured side snd silver on the opposite side
If the color side is the print you are trying to place on the nail, you will use the silver side on your nail with the polish or adhesive. You might also check if yours peel apart. I am doing a new, updated version of this video after the Holidays on this. Some of the newer foils will peel apart for easier applying.

Absolutely! However this video is a bit dated. I am going to be uploading a new video on a new and much easier way to nail foils without the hassle! In regards to links for foils. You can use any that you see. Find what you are attracted to and would like to see on your nails. Add me to facebook so I can share more than one link with you. Foil glue is best.
I use markart or born pretty gel adhesive. It must be cured but works wonderful
Its purdie sad that I have the same silver sparklie circles and won’t try it on my nails BECAUSE I don’t want to ruin it! I just look at it every so often. I’ve ruined so many..... ugh 🥴

Yes after everything is dried seal it with a top coat or clear or matte or shine coat...just seal it girl.

Do you think a gel top coat would do the same as an adhesive? The foil transfer gel that I brought isn’t working, so I was thinking of using glitterbels no wipe top coat

Studio Nail Art Nail Art Maddness you have to be more specific when picking top coats. A lot of them dull the shine of the foils and completely ruin the effect.
@@sebsgrrl0 Exactly. I've been looking for a very long time for one that doesn't ruin foils or flakies! Ugh!! In water based, I've tried NFU Oh, Color Club Watercolors clear coat, and just got Unt nail lacquer, that's supposed to be a really good peel off, but it's supposed to work on top of foils and flakies. We'll see. I JUST got it in the mail.
U did not apply topcoat on the foil. Will it last longer?
I did not apply a topcoat, however if you end up doing foils yes you need to add a topcoat. I like gel based topcoats, I think they work better. However, this is an video, I am going to redoing foils without adhesives after this Halloween. Most of the foils now, you can peel off and apply the foil easily. Check back after Halloween for the new update on foils.
Hi! I have a balloon I used for a family party and inside there was some beautiful holographic pattern I was wondering if I could cut around and stick this on my nails?
Phoebe Jenna it's not going to work like nail foils, but you can stick anything to your nails like that. I would encapsulate it if you can, if not just keep it away from edges and use a clear nail polish* not top coat over it in two coats. Or a gel top coat.
I tried 4 top coats on top of the foil and they all crack the foil. :(

What kind of top coat do you use on top of foil
Some use a gel polish top coat and some use either a quick dry top coat or a thick top coat. Either works but from my experience a thicker top coat works best if you don't want to use a gel coat. -Nail Art Maddness
Also, you might want to use a water based top coat before your glossy top coat. Sometimes a normal glossy TC ruins the foil design. I hope that helps you out a bit!😘

I do think you so much I have been doing it a Wrongi have been doing it a different way at from that you were posed to lay it down with the or let a and scrape it on your nail but that didn't work and I did not know that you were posed to use blue and now I feel like a nut or not realizing that how that it's supposed to go on so if I have a Problem can I text you so you can let me know can I do see a lot of people out here doing this Project and they are dealing MA that they love it and it stay on a lot longer than r nail Polish and I hope so I got some beautiful growers the you really got departing ones thank you thank you so much you know know how they're a wheel there I am going to do this right

Don't cut your foils, just use them as they are and you won't end up wasting any of it, noow that nail supplies are expensive AF
