Please , I am facing problem with this .. i added camera through QR code and not manually ..but the client can only view the cams in local network wifi but not with his cell phone data or at home .. what should i do ?
I would rather interface remotely (away from home), with my computer/NVR directly, without somebody else's cloud in between. Can that be done through my web server? I don't want anyone in the middle. When I'm away from home, I want to interface directly with my computer/NVR through an app that goes through my web server. It wouldn't matter which web server. Apache, IIS, or whatever. Is that available as a bundled product? I don't want to have to build it myself, or cobble stuff together, or mess around with Linux stuff. I'm looking for a turn key system of Security cameras/NVR, with no subscription fees, not through some outfit's cloud, with powered, wireless cameras. Near as I can tell, what I'm describing doesn't exist. If it does exist, please pass along that info. Thx.
I have a Static IP and operate a web server. I’d like to interface with a home NVR exclusively. I no longer want a company in between after my experience with Arlo. I guess I would want to use the software of the company using the cameras, but not if I have to pay a fee for it. I’m tired of companies that don’t charge at first. Then you install their hardware. Then they implement subscription fees.
Great question! We do not carry reolink to know fully but I would imagine the cameras themselves should be remotely viewable standalone. I would recommend reaching out to Reolink to get a 100% answer!
Thanks for the fast reply, I just set both cameras. Put them near the windows so I can see in front and back of my house. Unfortunately I can't verify if or how I can check on them from work because I am still waiting for my net provider to enable it first ( so I have no choice but to use my mobile data as hotspot to check on them which means I need to stay home)
Hi! Could you please advise by any chance 🙏? I would like to set up a camera at my home in Europe from Australia where I am currently. Is there any way to do it? My mum is not good with tech at all and I would like to watch my cats from distance😅. She would be able to physically place the camera at home and turn it on, but is there any way to connect to it from here? Thanks a lot🙏
Hey there pal do these accounts automatically record or rollback footage of whatever our eyes have missed?? Like how a dashcam records up to a certain memory so that we can roll it back and check what happened... Hope I make sense
Yes, if you have a hard drive installed in the recorder, you can go and pull up old footage! Or if you just have a single camera, you can insert a SD card into it for onboard storage.
Unfortunately no. You will have to use whichever recommended app the manufacturer releases for your specific DVR. EZStation is for Uniview only in this video.
I would make sure you have the camera added via either cloud or port forwarding. You may need to contact the manufacturer of your camera to get those instructions.
Hi, thanks for the info. Will you be able to do a video about a CCTV analog DVR using port forwarding instead of the app so we it can be accessed thru browser?
Most likely not due to there being so many different routers that would be different than the example we'd show. Along with the possibility of other DVRs needing different ports opened up. By default, Port 80 is the HTTP port for web browser access, but some manufacturers need other ports opened up along with it.
Since we have never carried that brand, we cannot answer that fully. I would advise reaching out to whoever makes the Anran camera to find this info out.
I doubt you will respond. However, if you see this comment. Can you please make a video about connecting and viewing remotely a webcam that’s hook up to a tv. Thanks you earn a subscriber
Hello! Unfortunately with all the different web cams that are out on the market right now, it would be difficult to make a single instructional video to do so. What we recommend is contacting the manufacturer of the webcam you have and see if they have a solution to get this done for you.
in being remote viewed by a stalker at a distance.... the cams are facing in all of my windows.. its insane.. the obsession is real.. cams r on the tel. pole and in trees

same problem but no solution anywhere

You can setup a VPN or DDNS to view the direct feed of the system instead of using the manufacturers cloud service.

I plan to buy 2 x reolink cameras indoor wifi ones. Do I need to have cloud and/or a nvr for live remote view ?

Hello! As long as the camera you have in Europe has an internet connection, you should be able to view it remotely from Australia.
@@NellysSecurity Thanks for getting back to me! So the only thing we need to do is share some app credentials after they connect it there?

@@NellysSecurity Would be better if it stored it online into the account of individuals... Isn't there something like that?
Can you have different brand dvr work on this app?

Do you havr any link for huglog r6 camera?
can only view camera when at home but not when i am at work? says off line on camera when i am not at home

@@NellysSecurity thank you
Can this be used for any manufactured brand cameras?
This video is purely for our UNV & R-series lines.
If you have a different manufacturer for your camera system, refer to their app & software instead!
Are these peer to peer accounts free or is there a subscription to pay?
For our UNV and R-series lines, it is free.

@@NellysSecurity Please😭😭😭?
At least an example. Most of us have analog and apps have been very unstable. Thanks
The apps are extremely secure👀🫡
How to view my old home cameras on my cellphone?
Is it analog or IP? Do you know the manufacturer?
What you explain good for you. No one can understand what you talk of to get configuration. Simply nuisance

Since we have never carried that brand, we cannot answer that fully. I would advise reaching out to whoever makes the Anran camera to find this info out.
