Unless I'm misunderstanding(completely possible) it seems like you can only deploy 5 groups total split between the two sides. Essentially making you* have to decide which side you wish to go more in on because you can't deploy an even amount on both sides. At best you can do 3 on one side and 2 on the other side. Which would make sense(To me at least).
The part that gets super confusing for me is, as you said.. do you go in blind or not. Also they don't clarify if the Free-For-All is only fought by the other 3 groups(assuming teams) or if after the skirmish fought by vanguards can they join in as well.
Oh and If I'm correct on only being able to deploy 5 groups for the skirmish battle, then does that mean after you load your 3 team loadout you pick 1 out of the 3 to use, or does each group get to use all 3 teams? Or did they allow multiple teams per person because not every guild will have an equal amount of active members so depending on how many groups/people you have signed up you may use 1, 2 or 3 of your teams? Which would mean you need at least 2 people minimum to sign up in order to fill the quota for 5 groups/battles. Idk I'm just spitballing.

Would’ve been nice if they made a video guide for this event and explained how it all works before release.

I wish this works kinda like afk stages between guilds, people should be arranged from least to most battle power end they should strat clashing, the winning player goes to the next battle with remaining health of his deployed heroes, and the place of a defeated player takes the next one in line and so on

would be helpful to know how many vanguards each guild gets. as a guild leader i would love to be able to tell me people what to expect and start talking to people to get them on board. 5 groups is alot to ask.

i think the red and the blue Guild is bot just filled in for enough the number of participant Guild. You can click on each Guild to see all the members of that Guild, if the text said " You cannot inspect this G at the moment" maybe meaning there are no member in that G set up any team in preparation stage.

Tasi comes on 17th...Update tommorow? It says in the rules that clashfronts starts on 16th but on your server that is obviously wrong..so is the 16th shown in your server actually the global starting date...that's what I think and that would be tommorow

Why would you be able to see what enemy deployed? It would be just a copy of the arena. Now it is more a game of "Risk" 😂
