I have 2 of them 100 gallon bags, im filling half the bag with cardboard for water retention and to lighten my soil load i have to put in the bed, then putting 40 percent top soil, compost/ manure, the last ten percent im adding mulch to the top to help with surface evaporation. I did this to a wooden garden bed i made from scratch and i watered that bed 2 time out of 6 weeks and its rained lightly 2 times , my tomatoes and peppers are doing great havent lost not one leaf . Im trying it on all of my grow bags over the winter and my tall metal beds. You should try to do them large bags like that.
😊 you are getting ready for fall/winter.
