Oh my God. It’s like you’ve walked into Rivendell and at any moment Elves will step out from the trees. That is, by a very long way, THE most beautiful series of waterfalls I’ve ever seen. Seriously. Off the charts. Thank you once again for taking us along. Namaste 🙏🏻. P.S. That was a most excellent sandwich Kyde and I’m very pleased that you didn’t fall off that rock Eric 😂.
When you return to the UK, you must visit the South Downs National Park. Lots of good hiking across very old tracks and quaint villages to visit with good pubs and food.
Ahh Plitvice is amazing, I went there in May (so just after you I guess), took a 4.5 hour bus from Split to get there, stayed overnight in a place nearby swarming with ants, up at 7am to get in to the park at opening, and afterwards a 4.5 hour bus journey back to Split ... and it was worth it! Gobsmacked at how beautiful it was to the point of being genuinely moving, and I just loved the variety of different waterfalls and the incredibly blue or green pools
I love how your attitude and perceptions changed as you discovered each new wonder! Glad to know there are still some places that are worth the price of admission, and not just a tourist trap. What a great find! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Hi guys! You've just made me remember the time I went there. It was and it is one of the nicest places on earth. I almost forgot how beautiful Croatia is. Thanks for reminding me. Cheers!
I remember my parents taking me to Plitvice lakes when I was 6 years old . It was the most beautiful and breathtaking experience I ever had .Felt like something from a fairly tale. Been to nice places since then but nothing comes even close to that day at the lakes This video only makes me want to go to Croatia as soon as possible
Jaw dropping beautiful...no question. Being a prostate sufferer that I am, with all the sounds of water running and falling, I would constantly be looking for the bathroom...As a matter of fact, I went 2 times just watching this video. Speaking of using left over food, every Friday I go through my fridge, check the expiration dates on foods, and make "Mustgoes".
Just to clear two things up. We went there when me and my little sister where like 7 and 4 and it wasn't a problem. Also the huge amount of tourists in summer is true but you never pass huge groups on those bridges. The park is huge and they hold a cap to a certain amount of people aloud in at the same time
It's like a fairyland! I bet when all the people go home, the little fairies and little creatures come out and frolic in the beauty ❤️ Thank you for bringing this to us! 😊 Yosemite is the closest National Park near my home. It is beautiful too.
I was here a couple of years ago, loved it, I know you were there back in April but Krka National Park was just so Amazing so I really hope you got to go there too!
Thank you for sharing those beautiful lakes and falls! I physically could not walk those trails - but certainly got to with you and Kyde! I am so grateful for the adventure :-) so many falls and greenery looked like a fairy land. You both seemed to really enjoy it all. Always love your adventures - including your picnic and bloopers.

A lovely video once again. Here's a little story about my trip there. In Croatia you'll have school excursions to the lakes and one of my classmates brought an umbrella to the lakes and he had it folded and carrying it and the tip of the umbrella as he was walking got stuck on a step and he fell into the lake thankfully he was fine and just got wet feet.
It's a really nice place to visit. For any future visits: don't worry about the plank bridges, they've been wobbly since forever. I remember them wobbling in the 90s.

Just came back from Plitvice Lakes to Zadar 2h ago, went for an autumn walk today, and look what's the subject of your video today :) This was my 5th time there this year, but it's never boring and always amazing! Yeah, you were lucky with the crowds that day, even for April, I've seen more people there even in winter than there is in your video. But I can't blame people for wanting to visit, who can resist! Now they are thinking about introducing daily limits, which I don't like, because what if there's no space on the day you are there, and it's your only chance. They raised the prices trying to deflect people, but it's not working, everyone is ready to pay even more haha
Nights are cool but days are still warm, we are having above the average warm autumn, but long spell of bad weather just started, so much rain in next 7 days, waterfalls are going to explode, often in such scenarios it even becomes impassable as trails get submerged
A lot of reasons. It takes a lot of time to edit, and if we put out hour long videos every day it would be impossible to keep up. It's also difficult to find decent internet while traveling, as we discovered even in Europe. -E
Granted you could view the entry as a bit steep but considering transport was included and the fact you can keep yourself occupied for a whole day in a great national park it is not too bad. Another great video with more exploration.

There is apparently another amazing "lake and waterfall park" in Croatia we didn't have time to visit, I fear looking it up for the feeling of regret I may feel having missed it, haha. -E
That other place must be Krka, near Sibenik. I really enjoyed walking the planks around that one, but did not have time to see all areas. This video is making me put off-season Plitvice in my long-term plans, and going to the bathroom in my short-term plans (dat flowing audio, you know). Thanks for another cool video!

We have friends in America who are shocked at how much prices for general foodstuffs have increased recently so it would make your comparisons seems even more of a bargain maybe ?
One of my fave things about this is also the fact that the legend about its creation its in itself mystical. As far as I remember, there was a drought and the people plead the "Black Queen" (around which is also another legend but it has to do with the capital) to help them so she ordered her underground fairy court to make it. Also, there used to be mines in this was as well.
You can walk around the lakes all day long. If you like to walk you dont need to take boat or bus. There are paths by the lakes, but also over the lakes with beautiful views from above...
@13:00 it just hit me that the planks are so reminiscent of the book “A Sound of Thunder” where they go back in time of the Jurassic period. The “tourist” also had to walk on these narrow pathways and could not get off them. If they did there would be unfathomable consequences.
When you said that first waterfall is worth 3-4$ i knew right away in the end you'll say it's worth the price. I do think in summer it isn't as pleasent because there are lot of tourists. You barely get a chance to stop and take a photo because people are pushing you. You should check online how it looks in Winter, all the waterfalls get frozen and the tracks get covered with snow. Looks like Elsa from Frozen had something to do with it. Looking forward for the Zadar episode(my city), hope it was a good experiance
