    Unfortunately, it's a different stories when guys bigger than him are trying to crush him on the field. But I'll reserve judgement till after Weeden gets knocked out of his next game and Tanney gets his shot. No tricks Alex, just throw it deep to Gordon. (Pretend he's driving a pickup). Oh, and pls bring Cameron back to Fantasy relevance!!

    DOCTORED VIDEO ALERT: At about the one-minute mark, when we are led to believe that Tanney hits the right upright, left upright and cross bar in consecutive throws from midfield, we get horrible evidence of jump cuts (keep an eye out as the ball is in the air on the second throw, the one aiming for the left upright...CHOPPY video) with multiple changing people in the background running around the track. Seriously, watch the people on the track behind Tanney from about the 1:00 mark until about 1:18; it's almost comical how they change from throw to throw.

    Lol depends. Obviously cuts of fails, but skills will get you to the target more often than not. I have a Media Production degree... you delete a lot of video for almost every production. If this was edited better (voice levels matching music), it'd be realllly epic. Msg me Tanney if you want a Sequel. Won't charge and will challenge you w/ a frisbee on some throws:)

    I can replicate some of these shots in a couple takes (my Ultimate Frisbee tricking is better), and I'm a random scrub. KC's most useless player? Take into consideration potential injuries till season-opener, and everybody on the roster s useless until they make the 53-man roster. TANNEY YOU'RE A BOSS. ROOTING FOR YOU! How The Hell did he not beat out Ryan Fitzpatrick or Tyler Thigpen...I cant believ that he wasnt even the 3rd string qb...I dunno..Maybe X Bills head coach Chan Gailey didnt hav on the right eyeglasses on the day he tried out..Wat a shame..Maybe he couldve been Bils 'Under The Radar'/'Lightning In A Bottle',Tom Brady,Kurt Warner-like QB pick up ..But it didnt turn out that way, at all...

  • @DuctTapeMessiah
    @DuctTapeMessiah 11 років тому

    He can make most of these shots in a couple tries. Most attempts was the basketball bounce-back shot. The fewest? Blind shot through the gym doors into the trashcan on the track, first try. Maybe educate yourself before assuming? Everyone gets excited for a trickshot.

  • @357MagnumBob
    @357MagnumBob 11 років тому

    Browns fans, check out "Monmouth Football Highlights 2011" to see extended footage. Observations:
    Kelley Holcomb syndrome - Often stares down a single receiver and throws to him. Had a very good receiver in 17 (Blodgett) but other receivers who were wide open were ignored while #11 waited for #17 to get open. On the bright side, above average footwork, could sense and avoid the rush. Decently quick release. Huge arm with very good touch. Normally threw the ball where defenders could not get it. Cool head, did not throw hard when pressured and did not needlessly endanger health by scrambling for yards; he is not built like Vick, McNair or Tebow. At 6'4" 220, decent height to see over line. So, more potential than Weeden but he is no Kurt Warner waiting to shine.

  • @DuctTapeMessiah
    @DuctTapeMessiah 12 років тому

    I heard from some1 who claimed to be a college roommate of his that he first tried the shot at 4mins20secs, while the rest took a couple shots. The one that took 25ish shots was the bounceback into the basketball goal. Any truth to these statements?

    Alex Tanney is still on the roster, Weeden and Campbell are not. Weeden and Campbell both have been picked up by other teams who deemed them worthy of another shot. If the Browns didn't have such a unbelievable run of bad luck with finding a good quarterback over the past decade plus, I'd say that this means something.

  • @kcanie
    @kcanie 11 років тому

    QB's are a major focal point on a winning team.. Without a QB who can lead an offense, there is no chance of winning. He has a 1-3 playoff record, with 2 of those games being complete chokes, and the 3rd lost wasn't that great of a performance by him either.. And not being in the playoffs since 2009, that's not a good sign.. At least other QB's have led their team to the playoffs and won, even if they aren't that good. Stat's don't mean anything if you don't have enough W's.

    I saw him on Stan Lee's Superhumans, and I'm shocked that he went undrafted then was released by Kansas City. Granted, I haven't seen him actually play, but one might think there is a major problem with his overall game. Even so, this is the kind of guy you build a whole team around. With the right o-line in front of him he could be unstoppable. Hopefully Dallas sees this.

  • @Lexingtonian
    @Lexingtonian 11 років тому

    Maybe because he wanted to PLAY. Johnny Mac to my knowledge has only thrown 300 yards in a game once in his miserable, lousy, forgettable career. He only managed slightly above 50% complettion and he couldn't even beat out a sophomore as a red shirt senior for his job. Alex, however chose to become the greatest D-3 qb ever. The stats don't lie.

  • @joekoe97
    @joekoe97 12 років тому

    He was actually D3 and the reaosn why was because despite holding all kinds of state passing records he is strictly a pocket passer and when he was a freshman in college was 6 foot 4 and only 160, so his size turned off bigger schools, as well as the fact he was a slow runner. He grew a little bit and looks more like his brother now, who is a former Arena Football QB..

  • @joekoe97
    @joekoe97 12 років тому

    He claims that some throws, like the very last one (somehow) and the one in the weight room he got on the first try and all the others were no more than 5 or 6 except for the bounceback into the basketball goal, which took about 30 tries. I know him and have seen him hit both uprights and the crossbar from that distance before.

  • @rafaracer
    @rafaracer 12 років тому

    Sorry, but Tanney's shots were more impressive. I hate to break it to you, but nobody in the NFL cares if you can jump throw or do crazy spins in the air. If you want to show off to scouts, perhaps you should use actually correct throwing motion. Just a thought. Based on your comments here and your demeanor on your video it still seems like you have a bad attitude.

    The Bills could have had Alex Tanney or Alex Smith, but instead they have Kevin Kolb, go figure. ok.... now do it with idk.... ANY professional end or outside line backer in the NFL chasing you. this kids gonna sit on a 3rd string spot on the bench his whole career until he decides to eventually quit. these are cool tricks but in the nfl tricks dont get you too far

    as I said, Super Humans. And there's literally no way he could do tricks live on any tv show. The news obviously won't devote the time needed for the segment and there aren't any shows that are live every week. No matter what he did you would always call it fake

    I find your lack of faith disturbing. I used to go to school with him and I've seen him perform some of these tricks. And there's plenty of videos on here of him ripping apart the secondaries from other schools. Just wait till his episode of super humans comes out and then you'll start to get it

    Weeden... 3 turnovers in the last 2 minutes of the first half. 7 point lead to a 6 point deficit!!! What do we have to lose by putting this kid in!! Put Him In!! Who the hell cares that he does not know the playbook! At least he is accurate!!

    wow, with an arm like that its unreal that no div 1 college team took him.
    Just like ohio st telling doug flutie he's no college qb. With all the QB's going down this year hope to see Alex start somewhere.

    Look at all these haters! Lol, he came from a small d3 school. And he's showing off his skills. He will lock that 3rd string position up! Everyone saying he sucks, let's see you get on a field and do what he is doing. You wouldn't last 30 seconds in the NFL!
