Love Charley! He ended up coming to my office last year and playing a private concert for us. I of course requested some old Hank Williams Sr. which he was stoked to play. Awesome dude and super nice!!!
I typed in Blackjack county chain reaction not expecting to find one, boy oh boy was I happy when I found your video. Thank you sir. If you haven't yet, I'd love to see you listen to Willie Watson's rendition of gallows pole
I live in NW Louisiana on the Texas border, obviously the south in USA and the thing I like about this channel is that you, a guy from GB,occasionally introduce me to country that I’ve never heard. I enjoyed this one bro. Keep them coming.
Not sure if anyone else has recommended it but he has a tune called Round This World from the same session that's absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.
@@OliWilford They do! I'm from the rural Northwest of the US, my inlaws are from north of Manchester. Still trying to work my father in-law into this music. Got him as far as not minding my cowboy hat and boots in public 😆
Great job man
This guy is incredible. If you haven’t heard it, his cover of Jamestown Ferry is amazing too!
It's so, so good!
I'd like a Tanya Tucker reaction to it. I bet she'd love it.

The album version is darker sounding. Gives it more depth. Charley is a breath of fresh air in country music.
One cool customer is Charley Crockett. His attitude and delivery is just bad ass. A good guy to know.
Yes its a pretty good cover version. I heard it many years ago .
