Sun coast might remind you a little bit of South point becouse they were originally part of the same family of casinos. South point was originally South coast
Suncoast is pretty great, actually. It’s my favorite place to play $2 blackjack. It’s easy going, the dealers are nice. It’s a good locals place. I’ve not been to this one but the others were always good.
Seems like a decent option if you're in the area, and yeah totally was thinking South Point vibes right before you said it!! Thanks for the great video, we will definitely check it out next time up there.
When I lived in Vgeas from 2002-2005 , I Lived in Summerlin, in that area. Suncoast was really nice. Great late night food specials in their café. They offered great comps too. Always got free rooms and steak dinners
That looks like a nice hotel to stay if you don't want to stay on the Strip or Downtown and have family/kids with you. Love that the pool is open late. Sorry I haven't posted this week. Have been ill and watching videos made me queasy but I'm starting to feel much better so playing catch up!
Suncoast has the best movie theaters in the Summerlin area. I love their heated recliners. The casino is in the middle of a big update right now. When I was there a couple of weeks ago, the sports book had already been moved to another part of the casino and that area was being remodeled into bingo.
Wooooo you showed the gym! And it’s 24 hours 😆. Yeah a little sad about the gym though I don’t blame you on that. Thank you for sharing! It was a great video! 🤣🎉 Keep up the great work 😃
I'd stay there before I stay at Paris, again. I can see the strip better from that Suncoast window than i could from the Paris. The gold course is lovely to look at. I think the strip resorts are over rated. I do love to run through them and see the architecture.
Hey, J…nice catch on the hotel! I’d try Rampart, if you haven’t already. I took a day jaunt there once from the strip via the CAT city buses, which turned out to a bit of a ride but I had a free day to fill….and was really impressed with how nice the casino and grounds were. Has a very Cali/Red Rock feel to it. Can’t speak about the rooms or food options - but I did really like the vibe of the casino!💕
Suncoast is a great casino. Decent food options. Low limits on table games and video poker. Clean and quiet rooms. I like it a lot. Also go to the Goldcoast near the Strip. Owned by Boyd as well. They got 1 and 2 cent ultimate x poker there and $5 ultimate Texas holdem. And a great Chinese place called Ping Pang Pong
When I saw the word mystery in the title I though you would be staying at the Jockey Club. Mystery how that place still exists. The location and view of the strip, especially the Bellagio fountains is crazy!
It's kinda like a nicer version of Orleans but with no poker room. 😆 I do wonder if a good portion of their revenue comes from hotel guests. Does gambling revenue from the locals keep them afloat? 🤔
Great review, never knew about the second floor, that Asian spot for eats is awesome need to try that next trip of you ever get back out there. Have you done any cruise ship reviews or visits yet? That would be cool to check out
Summerlin has got some retirement communities, but it is a community of families, great schools and a coveted community for families. I lived here and raised my girls here. You need to check out Summerlin! You’re missing a lot. Who knows…you might want to move here someday. I live in San Diego and it is getting pretty crazy. Love watching your videos. Keep ‘em coming!!!
Suncoast is a nice hotel and is owned by the Boyd Group. Pardon me, Boyd Gaming. Boyd hotels have good food and good casinos. Nice hotel. This is nice hotel. They have a William B's restaurant here. There used to be one in The Stardust Hotel/Casino. That was my first experience with The Boyd Group. You could also get a military discount if you served. This is a locals hotel/casino. My wife would have loved Briggs. Like the fitness center. Not a pool person. Would try to book with The Boyd Group or the hotel itself. This looks like a really nice hotel/casino.
We've stayed there for one of Marley's softball tournaments. It's was awesome, we didn't need to go anywhere for food or things to do for the kids.. it was all there in the hotel.
Interesting u mix it up to save money. I haven't heard of Suncoast either. I'm sure u will have fun. I hear summerlin area is nice but ritchy. Be safe. Alita from Fayetteville nc
Great video Jay 👍 some really good off strip hotels, although they're a bit far without a car. Only off strip hotel we stay in is the M as its a good stop before dropping the hire car. Hope you have a great time in San Francisco 🫶
Jay, I used to work for William B’s! I was gonna message you back when I used to work there because I helped them start the steakhouse. Trying to get it out there. Anyways, good video! I think Norma did a review at Willy B’s actually lol.
Thanks for sharing Jay! I didn’t know about the Mystery option but I like the idea as a frequent solo traveler

Angel Park golf course is very close by and I love this property. Great to go eat and play there after a round of golf

Dupars is pretty good, it saved me one Thanksgiving when most places in vegas was reservation only or hours wait
Nice!
Not familiar with this casino, but you will do a bang up job introducing me to it !

Happy birthday momcation 🌺

Awesome review of the Suncoast Hotel Jaycation! Keep up the good work!🥰
I'm a fan of the suncoast. During non busy times its very cheap to book a standard room and then upgrade to one of their suites.
I agree with you, Bro. If I want to gamble I'll wait until late. The pool is not a conflict with the casino.
The room is nice, those dark, brown halls are WAY outdated.
That Steak Frites is a great deal. And looked good!!!
I live right by that casino 😂

I love the sun Coast great hotel and casino
Dupar's pancakes are well known. I lucked in to visiting this casino one trrip. It has this darker feel like the Silverton.

I live nearby and have been here many times. Excellent review and I can vouch for its’ accuracy 🙂

Never been to this place but it looks like the hotel is still stuck in the 1990s. 😂
Looks ok for another option. Thanks
I stayed there in a suite great place, lots of things nearby. No bullshit strip.
Anything off Strip is your best option now since the F1 road closures on the Strip have begun!

Good If you aren't leaving the hotel. Uber or cabs to the strip will make the difference you are "saving" by staying there.
Jay please don’t confuse the people, it’s in Las Vegas😊there is no Summerlin, Nevada. Fun video it’s a hotel we don’t hear much about.
Fifthcation....next time
Great video. This hotel is extremely generic, though. I agree with you that it’s a decent place to stay if you have no other options.
Looks like they are trying to open another strip

Elon Musk was there this last weekend.
