I wish I didn’t hear a sound. My problem as I posted below is hearing a loud sound but.I see no notification to know where it’s coming from. I spent hours on the phone with apple and they can’t figure it out. I don’t want to live like this.
My problem is when I wearing the Apple Watch, sometimes sounds in the phone another’s doesn’t, I do reset settings more than 5 times, Face ID again, all, my credit card , still doesn’t work, I even do I new iPhone only with messages and Whattsapp, and still not sound , sometimes, 90% doesn’t make a sound, vibration in my Apple Watch, but before always working together , if my phone is on sound, don’t matter, the idea is work and Apple Watch together
You know it is very weird! I wear my Apple Watch and my phone was lock, I receive a text msj and no sound at all on my phone but the watch yes. But when my phone is unlocked I can hear the sound of the text msj
Ok I found the fix. I first went to my watch app on my phone then General then reset at the bottom. After I did that I sent a message from my friends phone again and still nothing. I then went to the messages settings and turned off notifications an then it worked but as you know I'm not getting messages on my watch so I then in the messages settings on my watch app pick "send to notification center" and sent a message again from my friends phone and I got the txt tone on my phone and got the message on my watch. I hope that helps!!!
Its a hardware issue on all iphone's , that apple will not acknowledge , bought a iphone 14 pro max 3 months ago , and same issue . But if i go back to my Android phone Rog Phone 2 it all works for notification with sound alert ( even custom sounds for youtube , tik tok and google apps, and a few others ) but not work on my iphone 14 just a notification pop up but no sound, Sad that ppl pay so much money on these that apple will say its the app that the issue when its clearly not , its the hardware/ firmware..
@@happykitty6888If it would be hardware related, the phone wouldn’t be able to play loud media.. it’s a limitation in iOS and they don’t care to resolve it.
Hi, I was looking for a solution for changing the airdrop notification sound after IOS17. I changed it long time ago to a sound that plays about 20 seconds. Now I use airdrop more often and it it is annoying that I have to wait always that long time before receiving the next content. By the way, the sound is quite dramatic, so its bit embarrassing to receive airdrop content in public space.... Unfortunately there is no option in settings anymore to change the airdrop notification sound😞On my older Apple devices with IOS15 I still can change the sound.
done with all these steps, still 3rd party apps are either not making sound nd haptics mostly , or wheen they are making sound, its not the one that I have set. i have set tritone as my reminder alerts, but completely different weird sound is coming if any incoming notifiation makes sound
I now keep hearing a loud tone & it does not display any message my iPad or my new iPhone 13. It’s driving me crazy. I called the apple number & they can’t figure out what to do. What would you suggest? I can’t take this.
I wish I know, since apple update 16.5 maybe everything change. I been dealing with apple second level, they have not idea, even tells me to switch off from my app watch wrist off, so can work, but of course is not communication what so ever. So now tells me the engineering department is getting Hans on, I can’t believe how much ignorance is in Apple departments, I spent 900 euros on Apple Ultra, and I can’t receive any text messages with sound or what’sapp , I reset setting more than 7 times, that make work just for a little while, and back to square 1.

Put your phone on silent then simple fix

Don’t work for me some apps like UA-cam and TikTok and Google apps keep without notification sound.

Very sad because I love Apple IOS iPhone.

Mine too make tri tone sound randomly without any notification. It’s driving me crazy.
