I've had and played my YDS-150 for two years (recently broke and replacing with a YDS-120) and for some reason never thought about doing something like this. Thanks for the random inspiration.
Absolutely! It's such a fun little instrument, glad to have helped stimulate some creativity! If you normally post things, would love to see the result of your inspiration!
I just ordered one immediately after watching the video. Thanks Drake!
Awesome man! Enjoy it! It is a fun instrument!
Sounds like fun! Fantastic as always, my friend!
Haven't played sax in about 20 years, but I'm curious about the yds-120 as a way to get back into. But now I'm just listening to this 🔥🔥 track on repeat!
Great video! I have a YDS 120 now and stumbled on this video. Can you share which sound setting you used for each saxophone?
I honestly cannot remember by this point, so sorry! I know it was in the first few for each one. I believe the Bari was Bari 1, but the others, not sure.
Hi Drake, perfect sound. !!! Congrats!. Would you please tell what accesories you use to achive sucha nice sound (mixer? transmitter?)
0:25 you really thought you could hide that lick by making it longer smh
Hehehe, I ain't hidin' nothin!😄
The furrowed brow of a mf-er who knows how to make our heads bop
Great sound. Thx! ❤ I plan to buy one just to work on my scales with headphones without disturbing my familly. Is it a good choice for this between 2 repetitions with the real sax? I mean, is it near the filling of a sax for the fingers? I know that the embouchure is not like a true sax but i'm only interested on the fingers.
Thanks! The finger layout is nearly identical to the Yamaha key structure, so it feels really natural to hold. The keys do feel lighter, especially the pinky keys, and their full down termination isn't as snappy as a pad hitting a tone hole, but it translates pretty well. It has sensitivities you can adjust on the keys, so you can make it more or less sensitive. At high sensitivities, it really requires you to be precise, which is great training in itself!
@@drakemakesmusic9966 thank you for your answer. Ordered ;)
💔💕🎶🥰👍
Hi. Great idea, great tune. I guess you played into a DAW? What was it, please? Ableton? Garageband? LogicPro? Thanks. Keep it up!
Thanks man! I use Cubase Pro primarily! I even made a video about it!
May I have the link to the video, please? @@drakemakesmusic9966
