The HAVOC AMV is the Patria AMV of Finland. The HAVOC programme (ccoperation between Patria and Lockeed Martin) was cancelled in 2015. Wrong designation. There is also a Polish variant; the KTO Rosomak

If that was me, I would choose the ZBD-05. 105mm gun and can move over water at 30km/hr, which is 3 times as fast as the others which all go around 10km/hr. You'd be sitting ducks in the water. Faster you reach shore the better. A,so, the 105mm gun can shoot from 2km away.. 20 of these unloaded from the type 71 amphibious assault ship, and all of them firing the 105mm gun would be pretty devastating. I'm sure they would fire some special ammo too, like explosion fragmentation rounds o even smoke shells so land/beach defenders will all be blinded and can't shoot at anything on the water.
whats the tradeoff? if its armor then youd be insane
I mean it's not like you would want to use any of these in a contested landing.
Their armor just isn't strong enough to deal with anything more than small arms.
I think the idea for these vehicles is to find a unoccupied beach or let the airforce deal damage and they just come in with enough firepower and armor to mop up anything remaining.
@@ViolentKisses87 small arms should be the only threat since anything bigger will be bombarded nonstop by bigger ships off the coast along with air bombing nonstop and also rockets from mainland.
There won't be a contested landing on a big scale, which is why these will suffice.

No one gonna mentioned the ZTD-05's firepower? that 105mm gun that can target moving object up to 2km range capable of penetrating on 500mm RHA, while sailing like 20+ kph on sea?

and the next-gen AAV from the Chinese, they are talking about 40-50kph, you can guess the rest.
p.s. the operational range of ZTD-05 had never been released, but we are guessing 800-1000km, 500km is far from enough for....China

What about Turkish ZAHA?
The SuperAV at 5 doesn’t make sense.. Iveco and Bae systems won the race to replace the marine corps AAV7 with the SuperAV, meaning it has to be superior otherwise there would be no point replacing it

Depends on the doctrine.
I think aav7 doesn't fit the current US marine doctrine of downsizing operational cost and making things cheaper and less maintenance.
And the Marine is considering shifting away from the tradition beach assaults as modern defensive weapon systems made such maneuver very risky.
So AAV7 doesn't mean it is less superior, per se, in terms of performance.
It's just that it is is probably not suited for the current needs of the US marine.

This is a stupid comparison. Bmd-4 is airborn ifv. Btr-4/82/87/80 is Just apc. It is differens classes
When you picked an obsolete AAV that had al been dropped from US military(if it wasn't for budget cuts and pentagon deeming amphibious assault vehicles very low priority), you know this lost is bad.
At least the Chinese ones weren't too far off, the ZBD05 should be number 1(30km/hr and 105m gun shooting 2km is just too good) and the AAV should not even be on this list. You'd probably be better off swimming alone or with scuba gear than to get in one of those rust bucket death traps they used at Normandy that's how old and obsolete they are.
Why do you have a Scottish flag? It's the military of the United Kingdom of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, anything that the Scots use will be used by the rest of those countries as well, they don't have military hardware procured only for sole use by any of those countrie.
