Before getting progressive lenses, I was definitely a person looking for the readers perched on my head. Also, I tend to carry my phone around the house in my bra to listen to audiobooks while doing chores. I used to have an iPhone mini and one evening I was looking all over for my phone. My husband called my number. Yep. My bra began ringing. 🙄🤷♀️ Those lip balms look great. I’ll have to try those. Various lip balms are stashed all over the house so I always need more. 😊
@@briannab5296 Well, since I mostly live in leggings or yoga pants to walk the dog, a bra makes me feel a bit put together. Plus my neighbors probably appreciate it, lol.
I haven't even finished watching this video yet but had to say before I forgot - yes, tips for taking better pictures (poses and other hints) with my cell phone would be so helpful! I never know what to do with my hands and always end up looking like a Vanna White wannabe. LOL You mentioned iPhone, but I use an Android, so if there are differences, I'd love to hear the Android side as well. I know it's been a minute since you posted this video, so I'll check to see if I missed it in my scan of your channel. I never even thought to search for this, so even if you haven't/don't make one, now that I know this kind of thing is out there, I know to look for it. :D Thank you!
The shopping bag and sunscreen stick are absolute MUST HAVES for me. I also carry non-drowsy motion sickness meds everywhere I go, not just overseas travel, lol!
I recently purchased Aer Day Sling 3 which is 3 liters. I am trying a few load outs in this little sling and I am loving it as it’s so compact but fits so much. I enjoyed your video! Thank you!
I have the same passport cover. I also keep my COVID vaccine card in it. Even though it’s no longer required for travel it’s been advised to still carry in some countries. Great tips!
Just ordered those readers as a stocking stuffer for my husband! We are forever getting to restaurants and he does not have his readers with him so cannot read the menu… these would be perfect for him to slip in his pocket with his wallet 😊
I like your milk glass. I was given a gift of a beautiful 3 bud holder in milk glass that I have never seen, and when I see yours, I think of her. Can you go over how to use your phone when overseas. I did find out you could use it free with wifi, but I couldn't figure out how to use it on the go. My sister used her texting and had a large bill when we got home. Thank you
Doggie bags! Great idea. The little plastic tubes at the center of the roll are also great for rolling up a couple of feet of duct tape for emergency repairs.
I never take my bag to the toilet with me, and honestly don't think I've seen many others do it unless its a diaper bag for their child. The lavatories are so small and cramped (and usually not the cleanest) there is no where to put your bag. Plus I just generally believe the best in humanity 😊
Carry a SMALL TOWEL from the hotel bathroom for the dirty park benches. Place the towel inside a PLASTIC bag, that can also be used for groceries. Carry only XEROX copies of your passport and drivers license. Never the originals. Keep those in the hotel safe. If you have to buy something with your passport ID, the retail people ONLY NEED YOUR NAME and PASSPORT NUMBER. A xerox copy will accomplish this just fine. Even the cops will accept a xerox copy of the passport. LOCK your passport in your hotel safe or luggage. Ditch the umbrella. Ask the hotel concierge to lend you one (they have a dozen behind the counter of every hotel). Forget the phone charger - Travelers need to STOP BEING MORONS and simply charge the stupid thing up before exiting the hotel. If you cant even leave your hotel without burning through a 15 hour phone battery, then you SHOULD NOT BE TRAVELING. Get OFF your stupid phone. I would leave my hotel room in the morning and return with 80%+ on the battery, even with liberal use. A phone stand? Just use the napkin holder at the restaurant and prop your phone upright. Eye Glass cleaners? Use your shirt sleeve or a Kleenex (which your brought along).
Not everyone travels like Jim. Some use their phones to record vacation activities, take pictures, GPS to get around. That's not being a moron, it's using your technology to enhance your trip.
Calling people "morons" says a lot more about you than them. Although most of your ideas are smart, your presentation of them isn't. You must be a real basket of sunshine to live with.
I have worn glasses for 56 years and with eye wear costing as much as it does, I take extra care to clean my glasses with the proper tools to avoid damage to the lenses. A shirt sleeve or any clothing can scratch a lens, and a Kleenex leaves behind lint. Some travel items hold more priority to certain individuals.
“Morons”? Thanks a lot.🤨 Never ever leave your passport or ID in your hotel safe or in the room nowadays. Look at the fires in Maui where no one could get back to collect their things. If there’s a fire, flood or demonstration near your accommodation, you’re not going to be allowed back in. A lot of countries require you to have ID on you at all times…..not copies.

You wear a bra .. AT HOME?!
Oh honey. . . that's the last thing I put on to go to town and the first thing to come off when I return home! 😉

Another great video, thank you!
Never forgetting the allergy meds again, LOL! 😂
I love your videos.❤
I love ❤️ watching all your travel 🧭 videos! Thank you so much for posting them weekly.

Dual glasses case is on my list for sunglasses and prescription glasses. Glad I found your videos!!!
The folding reading 📖 glasses 👓 are definitely my favorite and my elderly parents can definitely use it.
Hi Christi! This is a great video! I’m also interested in what you carry when you are at home. Does it change much?
I recently purchased Aer Day Sling 3 which is 3 liters. I am trying a few load outs in this little sling and I am loving it as it’s so compact but fits so much. I enjoyed your video! Thank you!

I have my vaccine card in mine too 😊
I always enjoy your videos…but I always love this backdrop. I have some of my grandmother’s milk glass and I love seeing yours🥰.
I'd love tips on pucs
I should have taken a bag with me to Seattle and Victoria. I did have to pay to buy one at each of my locations.
beautiful ❤watching from japan
Thank you for this video! Love the recommendations.
YES - would love iPhone camera tips, please!!
I have those glasses and they attach to my phone

They are perfect for a stocking stuffer!! And menus are the worst, especially when its low light!

LOVE the sling bag, but the black-hole lining is an instant disqualifier for me.
Luckily its not so deep that its like a backpack or tote black hole, but I would love to find one I like with a light colored interior
Please do a video on how to use our phone for better pictures!
❤❤❤
Please do a video of photo hints! That would be awesome! I'm always looking at those videos too!
Phone tricks….yes yes yes please!
Tip: put the speed of the video at 1.5 and she talks at a normal speed. It just sounds a bit high pitch but this is better than excruciatingly slow
Wondering if I should take my Underseat Bag to the toilet with me on a flight? Aisle seat...no money in it, but...
