@Eric Hughes Well Wicked is more "filmable" than Cats. As Wicked actually has story structure and dialogue. I believe in the hand of good filmmakers, it can be as good as the adaptation of Chicago and Dreamgirls

another reason I love them was because they weren't overly excessive on the romance. Norbert and Idina (IMO) showed intense passion and the soft touches in their blocking just made me FEEL the sexual tension. It fits the characters, how they would act themselves, how they would act around each other, and it's sweet and romantic because it's gentle and soft; they don't look like they're about to pounce on each other on stage like other performances I've seen. There's lust, sure, but I think they made me feel the love between the characters more than anything else :)
THIS. ive seen other people do this and like you said it feels like the lead up to something we are def not supposed to see. ive also noticed that some people put their hands all over each other so much to the point where it doesn't make sense. like it feels excessive and like it's not actully doing anything
The line that always gets me is "Come be how you want to, and see how bright we shine!" Both of these people have spent years being what other people expect them to be... You can see exactly how special it is to have one brief moment where what _they_ want is all that matters. Chokes me up every time.

That One Hamilton Fan maybe I was a bit harsh, but I’m not wrong. The reason she sounds good in Frozen is because it was pre recorded. Her live performances may not be bad, but are definitely much worse. She did use unhealthy technique in past performances, and it damaged her voice pretty substantially. Also, I sure cannot sing those high notes. I’m a baritone. But does that really matter?

As much as I hate to say it, there just is no comparison. This is the best as long as your mine, and possibly the best cast, hands down. Idina menzel is always iconic and the actor playing fiero just matches both her and the voice I imagine for the character so perfectly. It’s really, really hard to beat. I wish I could watch it.

Don't be surprised if any of the elphaba actresses do a touch up on the green. Often times when intermission starts, the actress who does elphaba is normally in a chair either greening themselves up or they have a makeup artist who greens them up more.
Elphaba does get greener as the scenes go on as she is getting older and they want her face to look mature and well as they say it, more.... Wicked. Hope it helps! :)
