Thanks Peter, the bait videos I have but the lure ones are tough when everyday it's blowing 4km/h winds haha. I'll try do more luderick fishing, another addictive way to fish haha

I live there bundeena, it’s a really good spot for fishing frigate are fun to catch 10/10 videos keep up the good work and make more good videos

I know the feeling it's like getting to a spot and the fish are busting up, even trying to tie on lure, becomes a challenge hahaha

Nice Video all the good tackle & no Net again lol & I fished in summer on the wharf more easy to catch them trust me, & your using 12lb good for fast release but not sports fishing I use 6lb to 7lb leader unless the Bonito up to 5lb are around Salmon haul bay or Cabbage tree pt in the Hacking etc ps sniffing fish is only done by cats …
Thanks a lot George, my intended setup I think I was using 10lb but the light one was on 6 or 8lb because I realised once you get their heads up out of the water they don't seem to be able to bend their nose back into the water so to speak haha

The kids are the best thing about Port Hacking! There were a lot of anglers I think some were using bait and burley
i always wanted to catch those mac tunas but port hacking was too far for me to travel lol

Very seasonal but they also visit all the other systems but always near the mouth. Botany Bay and Sydney harbour had a spell of them too this year!

any spots near blackwattle bay for bonnies/mackies preferably within walking distance or max 10 minute car ride
THey are seasonal and depends on certain years sometimes they are more plentiful than others. As far as I know, this has been the best season for Port Hacking as far as I (and others) can remember. I did know of them frequenting the piers this year but seasonal you may have to wait till summer hits again with the warmer water
