The first Fish I hooked { as a kid } was at the Georges river in the early 60's. I'm glad the fish are still there. great vid.

Thanks a lot Matt! Far from, but that day the fish were on fire! It just had to be a day I couldn't stick around for obvious reasons. Maybe it was smart to get out, that helicopter was so close and I couldn't stand it

I go past this walkway on salt pan creek by train often, the low tide is disgusting rubbish spoil of old tyres and house bricks, I actually think the DPI map says no eat from this section of George’s tributaries.. definitely mud crab territory but again, risk of industrial waste probably not worth the heavy metal sickness-dude, at least your having fun.
Yep I don't even eat anything I catch, just one fish in like 5 years because you all wanted me to do a catch and cook so I had to keep a single bream from Port Hacking lol

Curious cos I don't know anything. Why do you fish so far up the river? Why not by the bridge that opens up? Wouldn't the fish be bigger? All I imagine are fish come up here to spawn and stay safe until they're big enough to leave.

Billy, I fish for enjoyment big or small. I think changing it up and fishing new places and areas for different things makes fishing a more enriching experience 👍

@@moegee5797 there are books you can buy to tell you of plenty of spots. Just look around book section at the bigger fishing camping shops.

Lmao is it good editing or why were those cops telegraphing that they were about to arrest you haha. I think 2 inch soft plastics are underrated, they get you more bites and I think the fish gulp them to the hook easier. Do you use snaps at all with your jigheads or tie straight to it?
Denis, there was the cyclist moving left and I was on the right, and then at the fork, all three turn right and I'm like 💀. Very rarely snaps, but I do use em for big hardbodies and squid jigs. It helps a lot in those cases

Did you hear about the fisherman that go killed at North Head today? - I used to fish for Luderick and Pelagics from the massive ledge at North Head, we had to climb down the cliff using the fixed chains and ladders - was scary, but the BEST luderick fishing in Sydney bar none!.
Thats terrible new Mrkanangra... I hadn't heard of it but this Summer there has been a few deaths. Always a tragedy that could have been prevented. I can imagine how the fishing would be next level!
