Ace of Base - Hidden Gems Pt. 3 1. Walk Like A Man 2. Scared Boys 3. The Mask 4. Sharpshooter (Linn) 5. Lapponia (Linn) 6. Sparks From A Fire 7. The Duel 8. Paradise (A.o.B.) 9. The Piper (A.o.B.) 10. Hold Me (A.o.B.) 11. Hey Sorry (Oh Lover) 12. Barfly
I love this early Tech Noir era of Ace of Base. Equally as good as the Happy Nation era. After Malin stepped back from the band they kind of fell apart. But this early era is phenomenal
This was the begining of ace of base as tech noir with fully techno music style. After change their name to AOB they included sounds of house, dance, regae mixed and gibs everithing we know in plenty 90's
Sounds like the old romantics. Early 80's shit from a late 90's band. 20 years is a long time musically. I listen to these demo's then I listen to their acoustic stuff on The Bridge (2nd album) or the varied (Flowers) 3rd album. They truly have sampled many variants of music yet have the name of a 1-2 hit wonder. Super band when you peel back the layers.
And of course the vast majority written and influenced by the band members themselves. Sometimes see them grouped with plastic or manufactured acts - completely wrong but many people don't look beyond the surface.
Necesito un hidden Gems 3 en mi vida con esta y varias canciónes más de AoB 🤍

Que lo parió un sonido espectacular esta canción de Ace of Base... El detalle en sintetizador impresionante, muy ochentero suena
Cant imagine that this Song is from 2011. Must be an hidden 90s . Maybe from the "Happy Nation" Album. My favorit one !
It would be from their tech noir era, before their first album

Shane Power every their song is a hit
If you are saying their musical genius is underrated, then I would have to agree.
Exactly, never better stated @shane . They have been deconstructed by the media - truly unsuported by the structures of the industry.
And of course the vast majority written and influenced by the band members themselves. Sometimes see them grouped with plastic or manufactured acts - completely wrong but many people don't look beyond the surface.

Unfortunately none of their albums. Not even the two Hidden Gems albums. I don't even know how this recording was captured, or from where.
