The boxes are road ready they are a gps for the trailer they also test the lights and tell us when theres a light abs is on and when tires have a constant air leak its to save more money on maintenance and for drivers that dont do the pre trip like there supposed to
When the tech co's began working on self driving tech out in California once the trucking co heard-they all did a double backflip. At this time the big carriers are the #1 source of investment for the self driving tech co's. They cant wait for California to perfect the tech. !
@@davidkeller6957Negative. Because in flat bed, you have to check your load every three hours or one hundred and fifty miles whichever comes first. They will always have to have a person in the truck at all times whether it's a driverless truck. Or not a person have to be there to check the loads on a long haul run.
No tug test… seen already 2 ppl dropping there trailers because of not checking under or not doing the tug test hopefully yall start doing because could be one day when it doesn’t lock around the king pin…
You aint lieing these tarps are expensive. I have 2 i would have traded in long time ago if i was still company driver. They told me 500 for new and 250 for used each.
WHEN WILL THESE COMPANIES STOP BUILDING THIS CRAP/TO MUCH TECHNOLOGY THAT IS NOT PROVEN / TO MANY SENSORS/ AND TOO THINK THEY WANT TO GO DRIVERLESS /IDIOTIC
Give me an old truck with an injection pump and a 18 speed, more reliable than any of this new junk the more electronics you get on it the more they don’t wanna work.

What did you do get truck started?
I used the cutoff switch on the back of the cab to reset the systems
Thank you for answering
Do maverick have a lease program
They do. It's called MAVIC. You have to be a company driver first.
My question is if a driver less truck delivers to a site in the middle of nowhere how is going to strap it down not the loaders . Great video sir
Right!? Lol
They will have a human do that but they're going to pay them minimum wage
Whatever the minimum wages in your state

@@keithjones5331thought the same thing lol
He was, um... lol
He did not just crank that truck on video standing on the outside of the cab on the step ????????😮
You ever seen a maintenance guy turn a truck on?

He did one. I don't show you guys everything.
@@BigTrucking thinking about going to maverick I have experience otr but not flatbed what are you averaging take home ? Want to make more money

Too much
Yup way too much liability involved with driverless trucks. Trains still need conductors and engineers to do the grunt work.
Put a mic on your shirt we can barely hear you
I know. I'm working on it. Those blue tooth mics aren't cheap.
Driverless truck can’t do load checks
No they can not, lol

Hi hi Sir
Hello!

@davidkeller6957 You could chill on the bunk all day and get paid. Not a big deal.
