Great video ! I ✅ I have been a HUGE Birkenstock fan for years & own over 30 various pairs as of current . Question : if you could please respond . My recent purchase of the Taupe “Boston’s , I decided to waterproof with the exact spray you’ve demonstrated. The Kiwi brand . I followed exact directions , Exact . After the first coat dried they looked wonderful & dried to original Taupe color . I waited an hour or more before applying the second coat … After complete dry time of at least 3-4 hours however , I noticed a dramatic color variation of the left shoe . How in the world could this have happened !! They are still Taupe In color however there is a very noticeable variation in color .. I’m extremely upset & feel as though I’m now the owner of a costly pair of mismatched Bostons . What if anything would you recommend to perhaps remove the weather coating to bring these back to life or at least a wearable life ? I’ve never ever encountered this issue with any of my Birkenstocks & am extremely upset .. I will from now on never trust the weather proofing method & just take my chances of any water damages that may occur. Thank you in advance ~ heartbroken & mad as hell in Florida 🥲😘
Hi Kimberly, thanks for sharing your experience with your Bostons. Did you use the same rubber brush that I used in this video? If so, try to use it again, sometimes doing it can change the shade temporarily.

@@grahamhere3790 Thank you for such a great response . No , I did not use the same brush , I will now be on the hunt to find one just like it .. any suggestions? Thank you again friend
Do you have any tips for when they do get scuffed or dirty? Do you clean them asap? I just got my first pair and hoping to keep mine as well maintained as yours!
Just make sure that they don’t get smeared with oil, as it’s almost impossible to get rid of oily stuff from any leather. Suede requires more maintenance than regular leather.
If you hold them about 10cm from the steam of a boiling kettle .. it will lift the dirt off and then use a suede brush or a sharp knife to buff the suede .. Careful not to let the steam go up your arm ..
You really have to print and use their online sizing template to make sure. If you’re brannock size is 9, I think size 42 will be too big/long for you.
I had to size up to a 45. The 44 fit well but when I had even a semi-thick sock my toes were hitting the sides pretty bad. Their size chart told me 44 was good, but just didn’t work for me. Really try out different sizes to find your fit.
I’m also a 9 but got a 40 and they were too tight, 41 is still slightly rubbing on my toes but decided to keep them. Not sure how the 42 fits though, best to test it out first

I use suede protectant on mine and they look great! I also got the Birkenstock care kit. It’s 110% worth getting.
@@meganb735 You can't go wrong with their care kit. Thanks for stopping by!

Do you have the Taupe ones? If so what suede protector do you use? Thank you!
Hi. I have a corduroy clogs, and my problem is it's too soft. I want to be kind of stiffen a little. Is there anything else you can suggest?
Maybe starch them with cornstarch?
What size do you recommend if between sizes? I am size 9,but it feels I between 41 and 42

I’m size 9 in men’s so I got a size 40 and they fit just fine

I'm usually a 9-9½ and was questioning it too, but I got a 40 and they're perfect!!

@graham, are these birkenstocks for sale? i'd like to buy them off you!
I’m sorry Nicole, but these are not for sale. 😊
I spilled a small amount of sauce in mines, have any recommendations how to remove it? I'm sad about it
Try what I did in this vlog first. Good luck! :)
I can’t with this ✋🏼
Wtf
Bizarre comment … Crazy !
If “You just can’t with this … find something “ You, just can “ deal with .
Maybe start with a mental therapist 😂
Haha what was that? I didn’t get it either!
Will it stain the suede leather?
The eraser and the protector will not stain nor discolor the leather.
bro what’s the color?
Those are taupe suede leather. 😎
