Cristine doesn’t want to do acrylics on her own nails, and Suzy doesn’t do much natural nail plate stuff- unless of course Suzy taught Cristine to do acrylics on herself, and then she did something ‘’natural’ on Cristine’s nails? These shout outs to each other are probably more practical than trying to mesh Cristine’s manic, rainbow energy to Suzy’s quiet, pastel excitement.
@@ArtemisMoon12 I think a collab on getting out of their comfort zone would be so cool. Suzie would do holographic nails on her own natural nails (including nail vinyls and maybe ombre) and Cristine would do really girly cream (maybe French manicure) acrylic nails. I think the way they would react, teach and interact with each other would be so funny. 😂
Suzie’s in BC and Cristine is in Ottawa it’s not very close so I don’t think it would happen unless Cristine is already over there for like Canadian version of vidcon or something

If you use an oil like sunflower seed oil, or jojoba oil near the cuticle, it can help remove a peel off base easier. Love your videos too btw!
I try that all the time, but the peely is always so hard it comes off in pieces (like suzie's). Do you have any recommendations about it?

Se Ar if it’s mushy you should try maybe letting it dry for longer before applying the glitter polish

Rainbow Snow is absolutely exquisite. I’ve never used such a beautiful silver glitter before. It’s incredible, especially under bright lights-no offense, but this video doesn’t do it justice because of the lighting! My fingers look like they’re entering another dimension when I’m in the sunshine.

It just makes me happy how we just see everywhere that Holo Taco is really good product because people test it and it's what they expected or more. Like nail community is so amazing.
honestly, almost every product i've ordered that a youtuber made hasn't lived up to expectations (with the exception of jeffree star makeup. that shit's nice, but expensive tho) anyway, i didn't expect much when i saw christine's video about her linear holos, but DAMN. you get get them opaque in a single coat, the color is so rich, the holo is so thick, and they really shine. i mean, even the application is clean. the consistency of the polish is thick enough to get a good coat on your nail but not too thin or streaky. and even the brush feels like the perfect size and everything. i'm in love, and now i've bought almost all her polishes. and i'll keep buying them after every launch. not only is the nail community awesome, but i think christine GENUINELY put out an amazing product. And yeah, they're 13 or 14 bucks a bottle, but i think for how good the polish is, that's totally fair

lauren williams she makes three different holo top coats. These are meant to be color. She actually when she revealed them recommended 3 coats of the blue polish.
@@laurencuccaro definitely can be used as a top coat. Currently I have one coat of the Midnight shade over a metallic blue, and it's GORGEOUS.

Honestly, her polishes really are great - the formula, brushes, all of it. That top coat she has is amazing. I'm excited to try the bases.

Cristine has really put out quality products. The holographic top coats are just too stunning, and One Coat Black is exactly that.

Love HOLO TACO!!! Just wish I could afford to get some. So thankful that Cristine developed these. And I used to put my nail polish in a bowl in the fridge back in the 80's. When I first moved out on my own, all that was in my fridge was nail polish. Lol
Yes you need to let the peely base cure for much longer. If you watch Cristine's videos she does "peel porn" and it does literally come off in one piece. Thanks so much for reviewing Holo Taco for us. So many people are doing gel and acrylic colours, the regular nail polishes haven't really seen too much in the way of change. Cristine's creations have really done that for us.

Btw the peel off base Cristeen often leaves it about 2-3 days so it comes of in a shell (as seen in her peely bag ) so it’s a little different if you take it off after like 1h

Fwiw, Cristine also used a peely base for swatching, only leaving each color on for as long as it took to get enough photos/videos, and the peeling was more mushy 🤷🏻♀️👍🏻
Her nails always look flawless including the cuticle, how's that even possible lol.
She's really good at this :)
It also helps to coat your cuticle in oil to get it off even easier.
I’m guessing since the peely base is meant for natural nails, it comes off easier on a natural nail as opposed to an acrylic nail 🤷🏼♀️ because of the natural oils in the nail.
Hmm yeah, also as some people has said putting some nail oil around it first might help it to come off easier

I'm currently wearing the silver on one hand and the dark blue on the other, they stay on really well!
I had gelish on which started to peel so I removed the 2 ring fingers and put on 2 coats of rainbow snow with no top coat since I was in a rush. They dried super fast and haven't budged, even with no base or top coat. My fingernails are usually oily so only last a day, maybe 2. Nope, these are really durable. I'm amazed!
The silver in Cristine's collection is called Rainbow Snow while the Blue is Frostlight. Just in case you wanted the name of the colours.

I pop on to your channel every once in a while(I’m not a “nail enthusiast” lol) but when I’m looking to learn something in particular, I check in with you. I definitely respect your opinion. I wondered about this because I’ve been curious about halo taco(unfortunately I’m only aware of Simply Nailogical because of crossover videos Christine has done with channels I watch and she’s Really done this for her fans. The average person has NO idea when she announces a product.
But WOW!!! I will most definitely grab this if I ever get a chance, I’m happy to hear it’s not one of the other billion “influencer “ products that have been awful.
Cristine was very mysterious when she launched Holo Taco originally, but she made it more obvious when she released the Holoday collection. She only mentioned HT originally on instagram and a tad bit on your YT channel.

The peely works with gel too! I love sealing my nailarts with a gel taco and removing is a real pain. So I use the peel off base and it works great!

I have long pointy acrylic nails and I bought her holiday collection in the salon I went to wouldn’t paint my own nail polish on me so I had to paint my own nails but I love the polishes and I think I did a great job!

Peel Off Bases really don't work as well over Acrylics. On a natural nail, they peel easily and typically in one piece.
Kelly Lanktree she also didn’t use a cuticle oil like Cristine does
Polish adheres better to acrylic than natural nails too - creates more of a bond with the acrylic base. So that is also working against the peely base coat too
It took me a few tries to figure out how to apply so it would last over my enhancements but I have no problems using peel off base now over clear gel topcoat.
More coats are also helpful. 3 coats of polish and 2 coats of top coat would give the polish more internal strength when it's peeling and stay in one piece.
Problem is that with all the filling, the surface of acrylics is much less smooth than a real nail or gels; lot of little grooves and nooks where the base seeps in and sticks. I think a gel polish layer before the peelie base would probably help a lot.
I love seeing people react to/ test out other UA-camrs products!! I just think that it fills thier heart with joy and makes thier Day bc they put so much hard work into what they think is a good product/ item people need to have! It also makes me so happy to see there are good people In cruel but beautiful world :)

Aside from their distance to each other, Christine has a small window of time spent filming. I believe she only records on either Saturdays or Sundays since she works Monday-Friday.
