My dear sweet Elise, I am 68 years old and will be turning 69 in July. You my dearest Elise have taught me so many new things. It goes to show that just because you’re older doesn’t necessarily mean you’re wiser😊. I love watching every single video you share. Your clothes, your sweet face and infectious smile, your work ethics and so much more is from an era long ago. You are the hardest working young lady I know. You teach me new things and inspire me every time I watch you . Your home and garden is going to be so beautiful. Keep inspiring us ., I really don’t know many young American girls here in the USA ,like you. Elise, thank you for sharing your life with us. Love you and thank your mother for having such a wonderful daughter.
Elise, I to an older lady, and have been fascinated by your channel for the past couple of months… It is been fascinating a beautiful, watching you learn about yourself, and how to renovate a home! I love your taste, and I always appreciate a person who has such a strong fashion sense… I really appreciate you and you are just lovely inside and out!🎉❤
As an interior designer I would suggest you keep all of your furniture until you get done. You never know where you might need that little chest of drawers and you can repaint it. You don't need to get rid of furniture you just need to unpack your boxes!
I was thinking the same about the dresser, it could possibly be used somewhere else and be painted if you need to change the look. You’ll likely want a different stand for you TV and then you could store your dvd and PlayStation inside. I love you shared the framed pictures of your hs celebrity crush! 😅 It is fun to hang artwork on blank walls.
I agree , it could be useful for storage of other things ...never have too much storage ..and nothing more paint or paper can't give a lift to x The drawers might be great for keeping table cloths , napkins in and the bottom drawers couldbe for the Xbox and DVD CDs
Yup dont get rid of anything. Yet. I scoured places for ever looking for a trunk/chest. I have one for my coffee table and i keep my big blankets in it. And i have found smaller chests i use as bedside tables And storage for shoes, summer stuff i cannot use in winter.🇨🇦
Also, she has some space in her laundry/utility room I think, if she needs a place to put the dresser out of the way for a bit, unless she Ava’s alert done that?
I like to have my favorites on dvd. Thant way I don’t have to search through all streaming services and subscribe only to watch one movie. Or just not find it and the buy or rent a digital copy. I like my little collection and add favorites to it and it makes me happy 😊 ❤
Dear Elise, do us all a favor. Never stop filming. The things you do and the atmosphere you create are relaxing and have a magical touch. I love every little thing you do and I can't wait for more. Love from Brazil.
I really like the end result and especially that you moved the dining table to the corner by the newly painted hutch. 😃 Keep the PlayStation, DVDs and CDs…the trunk is a great place to store all of it. We definitely enjoy watching movies & shows from our collection. 😊
The way you used the blanket to help you move the table on your own was genius! I always thought I’d have to wait around for someone to help me move large pieces of furniture, but yet again you provide ideas of how to be independent 😊❤️
When everything falls down and goes to poop... Such as having hurricanes. And having enough power that you can actually watch a TV DVD video player whichever you have. Save those those are going to be gold. Don't get rid of any of your old media. Trust me. When the tough gets going and the going gets tough. It's really nice to have those nostalgic pieces to revisit. Especially whenever you have no entertainment. Cheers
CDs, DVDs, and other older media is such a great way to embrace my nostalgia for some self care! The process of sitting down to watch a DVD or VHS is so cathartic 🥰
Elise I always enjoy your videos . You seem so calm and in control . I’m hoping for the day I can be that way . I’m going through a difficult time with a nasty divorce . Your home is beautiful you are beautiful . Congratulations on being a new home owner . ❤️
It all looks so good, Elise. I can visualize an antique fire place surround against the brick wall, that you can fill with wood, candles or flowers.......and you'd have a mantel to decorate. It would be a beautiful focal point❤
I find it so difficult to function if my home is cluttered with packing boxes (organised clutter is ok by me, I'm far from a minimalist). Whenever I have moved (I have moved a lot because of my work), unpacking of the house is done immediately, or I just don't feel settled. Much to my families annoyance, so for me, this video was brilliant 😅 I was surprised you didn't put your chest of draws in your dressing room or bedroom, repainted. But you do you, Elise. You seemed a lot happier and calmer in this video, not so sad. Time is a great healer. My fear was that you may be experiencing some pressure, being a public figure, to get over your breakup in your viewers' time frame and not your own. I wish you nothing but happiness and success, Elise. Much love from Australia 🩷🩵🩶💙💚💛💜
Absolutely I still have DVDs and CDs! My car plays CDs and I have a DVD player. I love them. Remember, albums have made a big come back, who would have thought. Also, books are still wanted in hardcopy and I for one hate reading on a tablet. Keep them if you love them, if not then easy to declutter them.
You just made my day! I read “Jane Eyre” when I was about 12, and now I’m 65, have read hundreds of books, and it is still my favorite novel! It’s a perfect Gothic story filled with intrigue, love, and a dash of horror! And keep your CDs & DVDs!💞
I agree Jane Eyre was the first grown up book i read too, introduced to me by my head teacher at primary school in uk, she read us her class a chapter every end lesson before homdtime, i loved it so much i got my mum to buy it me aged 11...and have read it over and over the years since im now 50 yrs...true old school romance and classic victorian drama...love all the bronte sister book...s including withering hieghts and tennant of wildfell hall...Elsie love your interior style and that pale to mid green cabinet it so beautiful love the wood tone inside against your green crocery..and also i still watch dvd...s😊
Oh my goodness Janice I feel the same way. You expressed and said it so elegantly. I'm 67 to be 68 in July. And I find Elise to be a wonderful young lady. Creative with lots of class. I do look forward to her videos with her design and chose of furniture. I absolutely love her home and garden. Right now I am completing one of my bedroom curtains that I designed while watching her. Very pleasant moments. Thank you Elise for being the beautiful person that you are.
I know you have been through a bit to get where you are, but it dosen't seem that long ago you were in your unit wanting your own house. I am so happy for you and so proud of how you carry yourself this is very exciting. X
I think a light blush pink in the cabinet would be beautiful. But, this is your home. Maybe paint a piece of cardboard and set it in the back to see if you like it before you actually paint it? I think that's a great idea! Wow, I just blew my own mind! Haha! Seriously, I love the way it's all coming together and you have wonderful taste!
So fun to read how other people would set up the room. I would have put the dining table in the other corner by the windows and TV and couch in the white corner. I enjoy looking out windows while eating watching birds and wildlife. So much fun.
Keep the DVD’s everyone does! Keep the CD’s you will miss them. Everything looks fabulous and you found the perfect shade of green for the cabinet! And Girl! Keep that gorgeous green chest! You will end up needing one and have to go right back out and buy one! It’s adorable!
I agree! Years ago I got rid of my vinyl albums, and now my teen son is big into music and vinyl. He's playing big money for every album he collects. We did keep our big collection of CDs and he's using those. We got rid of so many DVDs years ago when streaming was available, but now we started collecting them again. So many movies we want to watch aren't available on streaming.
Oh my goodness! Keep the trunk! Your trunk is so beautiful. I have an old one on little wheels that I keep all of my material for sewing in it. So much room in there!
Another video that is so heartwarming. You're making the house your own, not copying the trends, and it's very warm, cosy and beautiful. I'm waiting impatiently for your next video
A Gram from Missouri, USA, I’m enjoying watching you settle into your new home- it seems perfect for you. I want to commend you on your resilience after your breakup. It must have seemed dark for a while, but you seemed so much stronger and assured and confident coming out of heartbreak. Good for you. Thank you for your videos!
Sweet girl you’ve done such beautiful things in your home so far I just love it. I love that hutch 😮 great job on painting it.🫶 thank you for another wonderful video ❤😊me and Otis🐶 Massachusetts, USA
It must feel so nice to have all the boxes emptied! The room is coming together nicely!💕 We still have a lot of DVD's as we like to watch movies not always available to stream. 2 movies we watch fairly often are "Princess Bride" and "Dan in Real Life" (as well as having a binge fest of The Hobbit/LOTR, The Last Air Bender, or Star Wars! 😄
Yes I agree, keep the dvd:s: LOTR fan, Hobbit ,old christmas dvd that arent streamed, Bridget Jones series and Pride and Prejudice ABC version. My dog is called Mr Darcy. The room is looking so like you with the greens, rust colours and florals. I wonder what wall lights on the brick section would look like at night.
Elise, your living room is really coming together so nicely. The cabinet turned out lovely. I really like the wood inside the cabinet part. The removal of the boxes really did make all the difference. Such a sweet home.
I like the idea of going to a friend for a movie night and then searching together for the right DVD in a treasure chest. ^^ There is something very cute about that.
My VCR...stopped working and I got rid of all my VCR tapes. That was years ago and I still regret throwing them out. They really stay good much longer than DVD' s. And now you can buy VCR'S again. I now have tons of DVD'S and am going to keep them. Along with the player, because you just never know what the future holds. I just turned 66 and am so missing the way somethings used to be. Yes, isn't it nice to know you can make changes...big or little to your home. So it grows with you in all the seasons of your life. Your lovely place is becoming home, and I'm so delighted to watch and dream with you. To see you and home become a warm inviting place. I'm sure there are going to be wonderful times ahead.😊I used to want everything colorful, but lately golden tans and browns seem so comforting...with just touches of creamy yellow and muted oranges. Those warm colors just seem to wrap a room with cozy comforting warmth. But to each his own😉. Am excited about the coming kitchen decorating. Have a wonderful day.💖
With all your art, maybe you could do a gallery wall in the dining room ,and have you ever thought about putting a pretty wallpaper inside the cabinet, your home is looking great so far , I really enjoy your videos videos 😊😊
Just 5 minutes into the video but I think the inside of the cabinet unpainted brings out the color of your dishware. Unpainted looks lovely. Oh and my husband can’t let go of his dvd, cds, records, and we even have videos. We need to simplify for sure. So hard. 😫
Such an awesome feeling when that last moving box is unpacked! The room is looking so lovely! And that cabinet is gorgeous! I like the wood tone inside. Its a nice contrast. Looking forward to seeing the kitchen makeover! 🥰💚🌿
I honestly wasn't a fan of green when I was younger, but as I've gotten older I've become more drawn to it, I love the green that you chose and am always happy to see your progress as you go in your house! All the plants make it even more magical! Thank you for always sharing your journey with us!
I still have DVDs. But I put them in a big binder alphabetically and get rid of the plastic cases. And I keep CDs for listening to in the car. I think you should leave the interior of the cabinet as the wood color, it really makes the teacups pop. If you paint the inside green, the cups will just blend into the background.
I love how your china cabinet turned out. Very pretty. I love the natural wood color inside. It makes your dishes and other pretty things pop. Stunning. Great job!
Have you thought about bringing the sofa out into the middle of the room to divide that long space. You would then be able to look out those beautiful windows and place a pretty sofa table behind it with chairs facing each other for a good conversation area.
I love how exciting it is to put things away in a new house for the first time. One suggestion: I would paint the back wall of your beautiful china cabinet either white or maybe yellow, to go with the hardware, too, so your lovely green dishes will stand out. A lot of your flower paintings, especially the sunflowers, would look great nearby. Very charming effect over all.
Wow Elise! Your artful soul not only comes through in fashion, but in decor and decorating. I thought that big old china cabinet was AWFUL, but after you painted it and did your magic, it looks absolutely beautiful in your dining room area. You really are a workhorse. Sweetie, please make sure you make time to rest and relax. Your living room and dining room areas look BEAUTIFUL!! xxx
I love seeing your personality stamped on all your choices. Your home is “becoming you” now. Love it and I look forward to each of your videos! Thank you. 🥰🥰
Ok, sometimes a Mother needs to lite a spark under you to get it going. It’s what you needed and it was a wonderful vlog. 🫶🏽 Love the China cabinet. 😍. Color is gorgeous. Maybe just paint the edge of the shelf in green. Good choice live with it. 👍🏽 Could you maybe hang a lovely hanging lamp and hang it over your table by hook, etc., and swag it by another hood and plug it in. Would love so pretty over your table. Also your pics of fashion, hang in your dressing room? But a wall of art on a wall would be great!
Congratulations on such a beautiful result putting your room together. The green tone is so restful and natural and it highlights your lovely plants. I really love the brickwork and I think it adds to the natural feeling your room has and ties it all together. 😊
Making your space yours is coming together so nicely! Arranging things sort of evolves and will be ongoing. Knowing how hard it is around my area to find good chest of drawers, I don't think I could have sold the one as you did. Your hutch is great in it's spot in your dining area.
I love love love the cabinet and love that the inside is brown still it shows your dishes beautifully. Love the color too. And when you put the room together more it made me start to have tears Elise I’ve been so looking forward to seeing your smiles and everything in your house.I could picture it all in my head when you were struggling and wanted it for you and here you are. Wonderful just wonderful. Thank you for taking us on your journey. I am enjoying it so much.
Thoughts: you might want something to be able to set up for movie night with friends ? You could also get a projector. I think another small but comfy love seat would make the seating area cozy and more ideal for conversation if you have friends/Family over. I love when spaces are designed for conversation rather than staring at a screen👌
I am 66 years young, and David Essex was my crush. He was so different from the way I was growing up, and I went to Godspell live, when he was in it, many years ago now. I loved his music, and his voice. Seems us older people are watching you, as you are a breath of fresh air to us all, thank you. xxx
Keep them the big trunk for definitely that’s really a feature peice even if you use it for storing sofa throws and blankets like a ottoman I am always hunting for something like that but they can be expensive to buy in the uk
Thanks for the inspiration you’ve given me to redo a room in my house that originally I had set up as a playroom for my grandkids. Now that they are older it’s become a wasted space. I’m in the process of painting it a pale green, similar to your hutch. It will be my zen den, for doing yoga and for reading in the evening. Watching you work on your house gave me the push I needed to sell some things on FB market space and make good use of a neglected room. 😊❤
Don't forget a really good reading lamp Sally. I just got a bulbless LED floor lamp, a good weighted base with a tiny head you barely notice but really good light for reading.
Your Mother knows when your house is in order you will feel relaxed and at peace. That is what Mothers want for their children. Yes I still have DVD and CD's. I don't always want to watch a movie from my laptop and my car has a CD player. There are areas on long trips where we loose signal and I can listen to music or book on CD. Room looks at peace. Tidy but still you. I can see a round beaded or ornate place mat for your plate and the same coaster for your glass. In your large cabinet display your beautiful tea pot with cream and sugar bowl. It is so very elegant and such a beautiful color. Will you do a slow pan of the living room from the windows and back again. Thank you. Excited about your new kitchen. Have a great week.
Your house is such a lovely cosy home. Your style is a happy and peaceful one :) Your garden will be filled with much birdsong and light. The hard work is all paying off!🎉
I really like the green you ultimately decided on for your cabinet. And I like the wood look inside. Keep the DVDs. Keep the house reno videos coming. I am so glad for you that you have bought your own place. And that you boldly do the renovations yourself. I don't know how big your yard/garden is at your house, but with your talent I believe you can make it as inviting as your allotment garden. I was also recently pleasantly surprised that you opened your boutique for a day. I hadn't thought of it before, that you could open it occasionally for "events", which is a great idea. You could even have themed events, like a tea party or garden party. I really liked your new designs. I look forward to when new videos pop up from you.
Elise, you've done a remarkable job of turning a house into a home. You're so accomplished, and I love your style, everything you do reflects the person you are, which is amazing. Take care.
I don't think you can have too many dressers. They are so versatile. Storage for linens, desk/file for important papers, place to put photos, mementos, and keepsakes, TV stand with storage for DVDs and electronic cords, and board games. Never get rid of a sturdy dresser. You have plenty of room now. I love the color green of the hutch.
I do have a small box of dvds and cds, favorites like that version of Jane Eyre you showed. Those are my favorite kind of movies ( and books!!) I bet it feels so good to have no more moving boxes to empty. My opinion is to paint the inside of cupboards a dark forest green. 🙂 I'm so happy you finally have your own house.🏡 You're inspiring me to finally decorate my new place. Have a great day, Elise !!🌼
I’ve been busy of late and unable to watch UA-cam. I always look forward to see whatever you have to show us. I said it before … your home is like blank canvas and I love seeing you turn it into beautiful work of art. Thank you for inviting in 😊
I actually do still have dvds and a dvd/bluray player for the reason you said, Its good to have comfort films that don't rely on internet or anything at all. (My fave is Keira Knightley Pride and Prejudice lol)
If it's ok, I'd like to share a vision I have for your decor: I think hanging all the black&white photos (like the one of Twiggy and Elton, even the Frida Kahlo one although it's in colour) in the hallway would look amazing. The contrast to the rose coloured walls would look super stylish, plus it can be like a place of empowerement, dedicated also to people who are so inspiring!! Another idea I had was that if you're going to hang up the Chad posters as a joke, then the bathroom could be the perfect setting!
Love that idea of the hallway ... filled with Inspirational Empowering Women !!! So cool! I like to have Art in themes for different spaces and energy then each room feels different but still filled with things I love .
Watching this, I now realise how traumatised I have become from moving so much. When I move I never completely unpack. There's always is boxes with stuff in them. I can from your move, how much I just need to do it. I'm finally in a place I won't be moving from for at least 15 years. It really is time to get reacquainted with my lost treasures. Grief is an annoying thing, but definitely something to move through so I can finally enjoy this place I call home 😊
Absolutely love how everything is coming together, and the wood at the back of the cabinet complements the colour you have painted it and also the China set ❤
Awesome color on the cabinet! Suggestions: 1. use wallpaper for the inside of the cabinet 2. vary the height and width of your decor pieces when creating a grouping 3. place a few rugs in the room (under the dining table and your couch area) 4. your bedroom needs a more substantial bedding set (comforter, fluffy pillows and decorative pillows)
I've been waiting for this video! I love, love, love home decorating content and you have so many pretty things and so much style. I, like your Mom, was waiting for this day and can't wait to see how the decorating evolves. Thank you Elise for your videos! I wait for each one.
I have been watching your videos for a while and love all your creative content. You are a special lady and an inspiration for all the young and older generation..
Nothing wrong with keeping them for when you want to. I not only have a DVD player and movies but I have a VCR player and VHS movies that all still work. We still watch them at times. Vintage 😊
Hi Elise ❤ Your home is Beautiful and warm and Cozy ... Thank You for sharing it with us. Take care and God Bless... Hugs from Tammy in Pennsylvania XOXO
I love the vibe of your house :) Jane Eyre is my favourite book. Ive read it 5 or more times and seen several movie versions (although its been a while, I think I need to watch it again soon) I feel like you would love secret garden 1993 version
Looks beautiful Elise. Your cabinet with the wooden inserts in the cupboards help the display items pop. Love your new home. Tis wise to ponder ideas and decisions to help avoid regrets. Slowly but surely your getting there creating your new life. You are your own Pied Piper creating whatever, however and whenever you want to. Your doing a great job. Love it all🤗🦋
Definitely keep your CDs and DVDs! I have hard copies of most of my favourite movies and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re allowed to hold onto things from the past that make us happy and honestly still have function 😊
yes I am the same! Love the classic romance so all the Jane Austen adaptations are among my collection, and childhood classics like Harry Potter. I did take them out of their boxes and put them all in one dvd case, takes so much less space, basically as much as a book! I have a portable dvd player for my laptop and a projector to play them on.
Yes, I have both CDs and DVDs. I'm glad you decided to keep yours for now. Congratulations on having your 'living' room unpacked, enjoy having an uncluttered space to relax between and after all your busyness.
Paint the inside cabinets the same color will eliminate the feelings of clutter when all your items are in display in it, your eyes will draw to your pretty items instead of competing with more colors from the cabinet’s itself. 😀❤️
I don't want to suggest anything because this is your home and you have incredible style, it would be nice to just see how you want to decorate it, that's what makes it special and you, so far it has so much warmth and personality, a direct reflection of you :)
My dear sweet Elise, I am 68 years old and will be turning 69 in July. You my dearest Elise have taught me so many new things. I’m 55 and I feel the same!
I'm 74 and feel the same about Elise my favorite UA-camr 😊
I am 64 and your words are exactly what I feel about Elise too!
How beautifull ❤❤
Me too. Your style and life lessons just resonate!

I think the natural wood looks really nice behind your green dishes! Love your decor style!
That’s what I was thinking too!
Yes! Totally agree with you!
@D C She could do a board with a pattern/wallpaper. That way she can remove it if she wanted.
I love the natural, too. It blends so nicely with the table.
Agree!!!❤

She could use those drawers on the wall with books decorative items and cut down the cabinet with a long piece of lumber or glass for a coffee table👍
Also, she has some space in her laundry/utility room I think, if she needs a place to put the dresser out of the way for a bit, unless she Ava’s alert done that?
Dont get rid of the DVD's. Its like records. Everyone got rid of them but now its classic. Maybe DVD's wont become classic but its great to have.
So true all the vynil records I just gave away! Mostly Kate Bush and Peter gabriel x do regret that🎶
I like to have my favorites on dvd. Thant way I don’t have to search through all streaming services and subscribe only to watch one movie. Or just not find it and the buy or rent a digital copy. I like my little collection and add favorites to it and it makes me happy 😊 ❤

Keep the PlayStation, DVDs and CDs…the trunk is a great place to store all of it. We definitely enjoy watching movies & shows from our collection. 😊
You could put wallpaper inside that cabinet and in the drawers. Look that up. So beautiful 😍
Yes. Maybe the wallpaper from your closet upstairs
The way you used the blanket to help you move the table on your own was genius! I always thought I’d have to wait around for someone to help me move large pieces of furniture, but yet again you provide ideas of how to be independent 😊❤️

Yes, love this idea!!!! Great suggestion!
That's a great idea
The fact u have done this financially and physically all on your own is astounding!
Your videos in the new house are so cozy and creative, always sets me in a great mood! 🧡
Haha I'm with your mom, I've been dying for you to do something with that room.
Getting rid of that "last moving box' is such a great feeling! Congrats!
yess! 🥰
I find it so difficult to function if my home is cluttered with packing boxes (organised clutter is ok by me, I'm far from a minimalist). I do believe you have made your mom very happy by the living room cleanup as well as your entire life. You are brave, adventurous and talented. Keep on
I love how you moved the table on the rug to not scratch the floor!! Genius!! ❤
She is succh a smart cookie dooing that, I never would have thought of that
This house sings "Elise make me beautiful"! You are doing a wonderful job.
Dear Elise your videos are lovely. You are amazing with your flowers and plants. I love your textiles and your colors. I think YOU are amazing.
I love the light wood on the inside of the cabinet, it makes your dishware pop, especially your beautiful green bowls !

Time strange... but actually I viewed my first house with my mom when I was around 20 years old haha. So I've wanted this for many years actually 🥰
Everything turned out beautifully. Can't wait to see your kitchen. ❤
Elise have you considered put a rug under the dining table and the lounge ...It will make the big room more cosy 😊😊
I agree. St Louis Missouri gm here. Inspiring Content
@Jane Brandt St. Louis, Missouri gm here too!! 💚☘️💚
The room is coming together nicely!💕
We still have a lot of DVD's as we like to watch movies not always available to stream.
You read my mind I'm getting rid of the chest-of-drawers! Perfect change out. I am in love with your house and what you have done so far!
In this vlog I feel like your heart has finally found peace and acceptance. Im so happy for you.
I love all your videos Elise. Don't get rid of the trunk. It's lovely.
Just 5 minutes into the video but I think the inside of the cabinet unpainted brings out the color of your dishware. Unpainted looks lovely. Oh and my husband can’t let go of his dvd, cds, records, and we even have videos. We need to simplify for sure. So hard. 😫
I agree. The contrast looks great.
Agree...and my Hubby is the same...love him❤..but.....damn.📼📹📺📽📀💽💾🎙🎶🎵🤣😂🤣🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘
Stunning. Great job!
Good afternoon Elise. Excellent job unpacking all those cardboard boxes and making your living room homey. Great selection of artwork. 👍👍😁😁
Watching you bloom is so amazing, and makes me feel emotional. I love the life you are building for yourself.
How true.
Have you thought about bringing the sofa out into the middle of the room to divide that long space. You would then be able to look out those beautiful windows and place a pretty sofa table behind it with chairs facing each other for a good conversation area.
I love your storage cupboard. Its stunning . And the cabinet with drawers rather put it in another room but do not get rid of it. Its stunning
Too late, she already did... I loved it too! But now it's a good opportunity to find something new😊
@@pumpkin_fox sad but i strongly believe his new owner is gonna love him
I love how exciting it is to put things away in a new house for the first time. One suggestion: I would paint the back wall of your beautiful china cabinet either white or maybe yellow, to go with the hardware, too, so your lovely green dishes will stand out. A lot of your flower paintings, especially the sunflowers, would look great nearby. Very charming effect over all.
The living room is charming and the green China cabinet is lovely.
Your living room and dining room
areas look BEAUTIFUL!! xxx
I love seeing your personality stamped on all your choices. Your home is “becoming you” now. Love it and I look forward to each of your videos! Thank you. 🥰🥰
Thank you so much! 🥰
Totally agree I’m 81 in the process of moving to a smaller house ,you have inspired me with all your ideas and make me feel young .
I love your painted cupboard, it would look lovely with pretty wallpaper on the back unpainted cupboard walls.
Ok, sometimes a Mother needs to lite a spark under you to get it going. It’s what you needed and it was a wonderful vlog. 🫶🏽
Love the China cabinet. 😍. Color is gorgeous. Maybe just paint the edge of the shelf in green.
Good choice live with it. 👍🏽
Could you maybe hang a lovely hanging lamp and hang it over your table by hook, etc., and swag it by another hood and plug it in.
Please hang up your gallery wall! Seeung them on the floors moved around and around has me spinning!😂
What a lovely home you have and such beautiful things. I say keep that PlayStation and enjoy your movie collection.
I love the natural wood on the inside of the hutch. It's a great contrast. Love the yummy green color.
Your house is truly becoming a home! Love watching you decorate. It inspires me to take on new projects and decorate in my own home. ❤
Thank you for inviting in 😊
I love watching you make your dreams come true ❣️
I have kept my CDs, DVDs and I even have cassette tapes - look at how popular vinyls have become again.
Dear Elise, you are putting so much love in everything you do and this comes together so beautifully. I always enjoy your videos so much. Keep it up.
I love the green color of the hutch. ❤❤❤❤
I like the natural wood in your cabinet😊
Absolutely love how everything is coming together, and the wood at the back of the cabinet complements the colour you have painted it and also the China set ❤
Awesome color on the cabinet!
Suggestions:
1. use wallpaper for the inside of the cabinet
2. vary the height and width of your decor pieces when creating a grouping
3. place a few rugs in the room (under the dining table and your couch area)
4. your bedroom needs a more substantial bedding set (comforter, fluffy pillows and decorative pillows)
I've been waiting for this video! I love, love, love home decorating content and you have so many pretty things and so much style. I, like your Mom, was waiting for this day and can't wait to see how the decorating evolves. Thank you Elise for your videos! I wait for each one.
Thank you so much! 🥰
I have been watching your videos for a while and love all your creative content. You are a special lady and an inspiration for all the young and older generation..
Seeing Twiggy brought back good memories...the late 60s were a magical time for me!Still love the fashion and music from that time period!
❤ I am so excited for the kitchen renovation! Cheers from Canada
Nothing wrong with keeping them for when you want to. I not only have a DVD player and movies but I have a VCR player and VHS movies that all still work. We still watch them at times. Vintage 😊
Everything looks so beautiful. I made an offer on a house and it was accepted! You're giving me so much inspiration!
Congratulations Lisa!
@@catherinefromchristchurchn6508 Thank you!
Hi Elise ❤
Your home is Beautiful and warm and Cozy ...
