First of all as a 73 year old grandmother I really enjoy your choice of colorful modest clothing. You are unique! You bring back things I think I have owned. You bring a smile to my face as you decorate. Thank you Watching you from Montana susan
Your videos are always so beautifully colourful and happy looking. Just love when you go thrifting. What amazes me each time is how you are so focused and don't simply spend money on a bargain, but take the time to check the item and think it through. I am slowly learning the art of this, and you are inspirational.
I love to see a young person enjoying decor from the past, but most importantly appreciating the quality of things! Those linen placemats will last a lifetime, as well as the needlepoint pillows. You can glue the lampshshade with fabric glue. Use a clothespin to clamp it down while it dries. Keep thrifting!
Wow...I saw a nisse I have been lokking some years now. It's the American nisse to right in the sofa. I got one for Christmas when I was 2 years old in 1965. We had it for decoration many years, but then it was broken. Miss it so much.
My favorite was the floral tray. You could always use it for wall decor and take it down when needed. I friend of mine has a whole wall of tole trays in her kitchen, it's very dramatic.
What about Painting Your white chairs in the cabin and then putting some of those Floral cushions on the seat (sew ribbons on the corners to tie to the back of chair x)? Those little Floral shot mugs could make sweet little Egg Cups. Thanks for taking us along with You, I have not been to a thrift shop for over a year and miss it so much...Your posts scratch my Bargain Treasure hunting itch hahaha. I love to use Tea cups for other things like putting little Plants in with some water so they can grow roots ..or as tea light candle holders , so many ideas. I ADORE THAT place with all the Robots, decoration ideas and info on how long things last ... incredible! I loved the Tea and Coffee tins , the Floral tray
The floral tray reminded me of my grandma. Her dad was from Norway and rosemaling was one of her hobbies. She was 95 when she passed away--I still miss her!
Love 🧡 the floral 🌻 tray 🌻 and the 🌼 lamp 🌞 You look so perfectly beautiful-that jacket is stunning on you! Thank you so much for bringing so much beauty into our lives. I love your taste and your voice is so soothing.
You picked it - I love the lamp! The tins are lovely too (and old!) and I also love all the tablecloths you pulled and a cabinet that was next to the lamp at the store - oh and the sideboard at 9:57 made my jaw drop! The 'trash place' is amazing- I can't believe people have thrown those things away.
I like the painting, very peaceful with soft colours and nice movement. I also love the old 1900 style tray. As someone else said, it would be a great foil for the canisters and there are surely times you need to carry tea and cakes to the sofa.
Loved everything you showed us especially the lamp. In your new cabin I would love to see the little armchairs you got there by the fire out in the kitchen instead of the table and chairs. Would that look cosy for you. 👍🥰
I have 3 favorites.......the tea and coffee canisters are really cool! Then the mustard placemats.....really pretty, and the gorgeous lamp shade, pretty pattern and nice colors.😉
I loved everything you bought. We girls can NEVER have too many pillows! I’d love to go thrifting in your stores. I embroider, paint, sew, and crochet, but I also love buying other people’s handiwork. Fewer women do needlework here than in Europe and Scandinavia. I found so many lovely pieces when I was in Belarus in 2005. The placemats (mustard with white ribbon embroidery) were beautiful too. I collect tableware and linens. I love using them everyday. I’m old enough to be your grandmother, so I do things rather old school. The lamp was wonderful, a little glue and she will be good as new.
I love all things vintage 🥰👍🏼🥰 your living the life I always wanted 😂 so happy for you 🥰 I enjoy watching your videos ❤️👍🏼 I love the 2 tin cans you got along with the lamp 👍🏼
@@smallfootprint2961 they could but they are usually full of cinnamon or spices so when a warm bowl is put on them, they exude that smell. They are often found at holiday markets in the U.S.
You're right! The lamp was a must have. I love brown florals. Hard to find. The floral tray would be great to prop up behind your tins on countertop. Gorgeous. The painting was stunning👍 Love love love your coat❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think the lamp and the coffee/tea canisters were my favorites. I have a vintage set of yellow canisters from the 1950’s that are sugar, flour, coffee & tea. I actually keep my nutritional supplements in them though. They go with my yellow & blue kitchen. Thanks for taking us thrifting with you.
I love the lamp. 💜 And the tin of the people that you didn’t get. I thought it was really pretty and had a lot of character. Loved the dents and imperfections.
The floral tray could be hung on the wall, ribbon from the handles. Thanks for the thrifting video, enjoy seeing what thrift stores look like elsewhere.
The lamp and I love the last tray you showed but my favorite is the lamp it looks like a bustier and can't wait to see you next time on your videos be safe
Lamp is my favorite! That being said I love all your choices and I laughed when you congratulated the jacket for making it home with you 😁thrifting is so fun like a treasure hunt every time!
I love the lamp and the coffee and tea canisters. The pillows are cute also. You have great taste. I wish we had thrift stores in the U.S. like you have in Denmark.
My favorites were the canisters and blue lamp. The glaze on it is so pretty--reminds me of Haeger or Roseville pottery in the US. When you mentioned painting it (don't!), I thought about a big lamp I have. It's very 70s and was originally green and brown. At the time I bought it, it was trendy to paint thrifted stuff turquoise or bright red, etc. I couldn't decide what color to paint it. The base is a type of polymer (fake wood?), so I didn't feel bad about painting it. So I thought, well I'll paint it white as a base and then decide what color is best later. That was 10 years ago and it's still white. White was actually the best choice!
As usual I love everything !!! Am so fond of cushions & love the flower ones always. Beautiful trays…lovely Jacket, painting so full of movement is gorgeous….Lamp shade is stunning…. A super thrift shop again Elisa 💝
Thanks for taking us thrifting. My favourites today were the larger pillow with pansy flowers on it, the tray with proper handles and the tea & coffee canisters. The tray with the scrolled edge looks more like something to hang on the wall. The brown lamp looks great in your apartment. Winter has hit the UK, we have a terrible storm called Arwen with bitterly cold winds and I woke up to snow this morning...brr
We had our first snow in Massachusetts on Friday. Quite a lot and it is freezing cold so the snow continues to stay (instead of melting quickly as most "first snows" do). A "White Christmas " is magical...snow a month earlier is not.
@@karenphillips2127 When my niece was about 3, it snowed a week or so before Christmas (and this was in Alabama, which made the snow even more of an anomaly!). She woke up and joyfully asked her mom, "Mom, is today Christmas?" When her mom said no, my niece yelled, "Santa Claus, are you trying to trick us!?!"
The gold linen place mats and the lamp were my favorites, but everything was wonderful. I also really loved the pillow with the bright red flowers that you didn't buy. I would have snapped that right up. Love watching you Elise. You are adorable!
My favorite was the green sofa 😁 However, I know you meant the Fav of what you bought, & mine is That gorgeous lamp!! 🛋 I also love that beautiful silk blouse you're wearing!! Great finds, that last thrift store, looked soo awesome, I would love to shop or just go in to check it out. 😀 thanks for taking us along!! I applaud👏 your way of holding back on buying, everything you see that you like, that's the hardest part for me. 🤷🏼♀️🛒😁😅🛒 Ahhh I forgot... That large mirror 🪞 it would've been in my car, coming home with me!!! I've been looking for one like that for a few years now. I saw so many great pieces!! 👍
I definitely love the brown lamp, the canisters, and the linens at the end. I went Black Friday shopping at a antique store and got amber glass pedestal bowl and candy dish, then I found the most amazing table clothes and table runner that were red velvet with pearls and sequins sewn on and gold gemstones for Christmas, I could of got a lot more but I reigned myself in 😂🤣

The last lamp you looked at could look nice over your table in the kitchen of the cabin. The sun would make rainbows

Comfy chairs in the kitchen is a great idea because your fireplace is in the kitchen so you will want to sit in there in the winter.
2 things...the flowered pillow and the lamp. I must say the blouse your wearing is gorgeous and suits you so well.
The flower tray is my favorite but they lamp is a close second.
I love the cushions.

I think those pillow xmas decor rounds are hot plates for Christmas table to protect the table!
I think they go around a flower pot for a centerpiece.
