Outstanding tutorial. Great pace, clear video, and your voice and wonderful accent are so calming. I might just listen to this to fall asleep at night. Well done!
Thank you for the tutorial. For anyone struggling with this knot I found it useful to use a larger diameter mandrel. That way it was easier to keep the front and back of the knot clearly defined which I found to be the key. I actually used a slightly flexible plastic bottle with a 1.5" diameter. That had the added benefit of making it easier to thread the paracord under and over. It took me 4 tries but now I realize it is actually quite easy to tie.
Lol. I agree with the last comment. After about four or five steps my results don’t look anything like what I’m looking at even after several tries. I wish there was a way to show this in slow mo!!!!!!
If on pc .go to settings .bottom right of video/ looks like a gear wheel . Can change playing speed from Normal to .25 / v slow. Audio is gone but you have a slower replay.
I wrap the knot with a thin rubber jar opening helper and roll with a flat wood cooking utensil because I don't keep wood planks lying around and the knot will slide on my countertop without the rubber jar opener.
The problem I had with this is that you shift the front and the back of the knot mid stream so I don't really know what is where? Is the standing end, the start the back or the front. Would you tie this using your hand as the mandrel to clearly show front and back.. Very confusing. I've tried several times (15+) and still cannot get it. Ugh
Hey! I had to put that one on my to-do list. The concept will probably be kinda similar to the ball net that I made a while back: ua-cam.com/video/U1wiF5FQhRc/v-deo.html Mark

Amazing how one can come up with such knots! As soon as I’m untangled from my first attempt, I give it another try!

Nice little knots, I learned from your earlier vid. Took 4 tries before I had anything presentable.
Thanks again.

I REALLY like this knot, and the way you presented it! Great video.
Thanks for another great tutorial - definitely making a few of these.

Hi. Really enjoy your videos. What size thimble did you use with this please?
What is the size of the rope thimble?
Is it possible to lengthen up the knot?
66/5000
What is the diameter of the rope thimble for paracord 550, 4mm or 5mm ? (1:04 Minutes Video)
Hi...I think it is 3 mm.
Mark
I would like to know the "size" of the rope thimble used.
The smallest that exist
Looks like M3 size, maybe M4
@@33IrishEyes this is M3 for sure
Is it possible to make it without the loop ?
How to attach the needle?
Cheers Mate!
Фантастика! Красиво, но сложно!
What's the name of the first knot please?
Nice
Hey long time subsctiber... I love the tutorials! Do you have a way to make an open air, webbed bag with a draw string? Thanks in advance
