*Thank youuuu* Oh my goodness I finally understand the fashion obsessions I’ve had all these years to be almost entirely fifties based. That waspy waist. Wow. You’ve taught me so much today. 🖤
I loved this video. Ive always loved vintage clothing but never knew the proper terms or subtle differences between each type of skirt or shirts so thank you for this!
Awesome information!! I definitely think my style leans more towards the 50's. I'll pepper in some 30s and 40s, but this video helped me decide on the 50's. Thanks!
I wish I could rock circle skirts like I see all these girls on Insta doing. I always feel I look like a little girl haha. I'd love to see outfit pics!
I love this series, I love history and I love learning about the fashion more! Circle skirt is my favourite but I would like to try a sheath skirt/dress I've seen a similar shape on the vivien of Holloway website, their clothes look amazing!
Thanks for the helpful video! I used to think I was more of a 40s girl but after this I realized I love the 50s just as much. It's alright to mix and match, right? ;) your earrings are so darn cute! where'd you get them from?
Great selection of items! I really love your style and your channel, thats why it would be absolutely amazing if you could do a scarf collection video in which you how to tie them for occasional motorbike rides, cause I'll start as pillion rider this spring on my boyfriends new Harley and got no clou what kind of scarf to buy and wear to protect ears, nose and cheeks against the airstream. Thanks and lots of love to you from Germany, Hanna
Thank you so so much for this incredibly informative and thorough video! You also are a talented storyteller, it’s very pleasant to listen to you! Maybe you would consider doing a video about more rockabilly/pin up style and how that came about. Thank you again!
I would like to do a video(s) for men's fashion. Ideas on how to use modern styles to recreate vintage looks. I think ties, white cotton undershirts, slacks, leather lace up boots, and suspenders are all things that are still worn, or easily available, today that bring a vintage look. I'll try and rope Val into a video 😊
This is actually a faux 50s do. My hair is long here and I just curled it and pinned it up. If you have shorter hair I have a Marilyn setting video in my Vintage Tips & Tricks playlist xxx
This was very informative for 1950s wear. I don’t why this video doesn’t have many views, but it should.

Glad I could help! 💝
I LOVE this series so much. It's so well-researched and informative--I had no idea that pedal pushers were technically different from capris!
The era is so popular today but I think reproduction often makes it confusing because they use blanket terms. Glad you liked it 😊 x
Thank you Miss Bee. Once again you are my vintage google.
Oh! Thank you ☺️

Well done! I love how thorough you were; I'm finding there's so much to always learn about vintage fashion, & appreciate these videos! 👌👏👍
Thank you! Yeah, it's a worm hole but super fascinating how politics and pop culture influence the style. x

I am tending to wear more circle and panel skirts now.

I like this idea. Maybe I could collab with someone who really rocks this style...
That would be one-of-a-kind video! :)
I love this so much!
Structured and well-tailored garments always look so much more flattering, but I find them more difficult to find. 😢
Im into mens vintage is it ok to reproduce some styles adding stuff to them just to give it a better pop somehow?

What hot roller placement did you use for this hairstyle?
