Don't use a sponge, it will scratch the paint work with contaminants. Two bucket method doesn't really work with a sponge, always use a wash mitt.
No grit guard synthetic sponge. I use grit guard and woolen wash mitt.
I always wash with a microfibre and never a sponge. When folded into quarters, the wash minimises scratches when the microfibre is folded to avoid using the same used side on a different panel. this way when you rinse after 8 folds. more efficient and effective.
How come when washing the car you dont use circular motion to prevent swirls, yet you use a circular motion when applying polish?

Where is the jet wash and snowfoam?
Using a sponge?! Swirl mark heaven, so much for good advice. Also cleaning the inside off the doors and boot with the sponge and shampoo how do you expect to clean that off?
Is that wheel seal going to affect the braking? If that had been a mountain bike, both discs and pads would surely have been ruined
suppose to be a professional and you use a sponge as appose to a sheep mitton. And it doesn't matter which direction you wash in, you will still get swirl marks. unless you use a pre treatment on the car! that's why autoglym make snow foam! or tfr!
