Building Calm for Cagney

For Cagney I am doing things a little different. I had fed him his dinner earlier because he really cannot focus if he is very hungry. I also use a bowl to drop his food in so he doesn't have to chase it. I had changed where I pause in my process. With treat in hand vs before grabbing treat. I have noticed that he will move sooner if I ratch for the treat after he eats the last one. All of these modifications are made to ensure he is successful. Cagney is a cat so he has different behaviors that a dog would and as an individual learns differently than Clover. Its a fun learning process for me for sure!!
