The groove in this piece is so delectable; it's so delicious. Especially at 2:55 where he fades out then returns to the melody all quiet and beautifully... Garner is a legend.
This is one of the greatest performances that I have ever seen . This is study material . And the lessons are many . Improvisation at it's best. Erroll has become my favorite musician .
They knew enough to move the camera off Erroll's hands at 2:22 as that block chord run is so hot it would have surely damaged the video equipment. Also, the speed of his hand when he does the octave at 4:17, I'm pretty sure Mayweather himself couldn't dodge that one!
After the old Piano rolls faded ERROLL became the Light of this,Instrument /He almost toys w/ this playing. I, would have really liked to hear some recorded Jam sessions w/ some top players , and see just where we know He could take this Piano :THIS GUY HAD SO MANY BUILT IN TALENTS, HE WOULD HAVE EXCELLED At any Instrument ,by His SHEER STYLE .metronomic perfection and what a Drummer.ya

I always loved the way his piano style sounded 'rattly' - that's the only way I can describe it - as though the piano needed to clear its throat.

It seems like his left hand is controlled by one brain and his right hand is controlled by another brain. Amazing.
HARMONY, MELODY, VIRTUOSITY, GENEROSITY !!!!!!! THE GREATEST

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wonder if it goes natural with him or he is an unsurpassed showman doing it so naturally and joyfully?
C est bon de danser
Sur Mŕ Garner
Sa main gauche est comme une guitare d'accompagnement;prodigieux
Well,we will never know
but it seems natural with Erroll Garner
Fred Astaires feet. Erroll Garners fingers.

I think that this guy "talks" with his piano...
