Bravo Erroll ! Always my favourite jazz pianist, no one could swing like Erroll. Died far too young in January 1977 aged just 55. Such a shame, as he should have been around for another 30 years. Concert By The Sea remains the biggest selling piano jazz album of all time. RIP Erroll Garner, your music will continue to delight people for years to come.
Simply heart warming wonderful music, should be shared with all jazz lovers. The great musicians often pass on way too soon but thank goodness for UA-cam that we can discover these treasures.

Marvelous and extraordinary talent. We hears him perform years ago and regret not knowing how better to demonstrate full appreciation for his enormous talent. Parallels with components of improvisation were evident for us then. Think about the geography of Italy.

Io sono legato alla sua musica da quando scoprii “ magician” uno dei suoi dischi più originali, andava verso James Brown in modo personalissimo, sono veramente debitore nei confronti di questa superba formazione.

Now I know the superb bassist is Ernest McCarty. Unknown to me, and thus underrated.
This bassist is far the best habing played with Erroll. Together with José Mangual, extraordinary. I had the chance to see and listent to them in concerts
@@carlosschvartzman8374 Check out the great album Reunion Tribute to Erroll he did with Jimmie Smith and Geri Allen who was in charge of the Erroll Project before her death from cancer. In her brief time we were blessed with a few releases from the vaults like the albums Ready Take-One and Nightconcert.

Tatum was just the piano player, but Garner was in the house with no concept of god, just jazz Tatum only was able to emulate, Garner was the aficionado...

Are you kidding? In jazz performances the applause happens impromptu, after some notable element of improvisation.
In jazz, yes, happens regurarly at pretty much every performance
In classical music it is the opposite, no clapping until the end
