I'm a big Denver Bronco's fan. It's all over my car. That was some awesome looking trout. I dont think lures would work where we fish on the river... We fished threw an old snow slide last weekend. There was a lot of downed trees still... Fishing at the lake was spooky last weekend. The lake went completely calm for a while and we kept hearing things scream threw the night... Hopefully it wont be so spooky this weekend... GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

how do you like to use the HD trout? Slow retrieve or jerkbait action?
@Matthew Puryear Depends on the day, I will do both but more commonly just slow retrieve, current does a lot of the work.
Make some good filets and deep fry on flour with beer 🍺
@Edwardo Garcia we typically don't keep trout out of the rivers or at lower elevations. They are good though!!

why not use a stronger line? Im pretty new to fishing but i dont get why people would use thin mono line instead of just going for like a 16lbs braided or something
Trout are very line sensitive, the thick line will spook them.
