Being in a community immersion is a great challenge because you need to compromise with those matters that the indigenous people are used to. You need to show up that everything is fine and smoothly moving. You need to adjust and maximize your understanding. You need to accept and embrace the things you met along the way. You should avoid offending your poster families, like showing that you don’t like what’s going on, instead show love and care for them. I’ve realized many things. I’ve realized things which awakened my sensitivity as an individual. Imagine a child walking everyday just to go to school? Just to learn! That’s how blessed we are! We just ride in a car and eventually we’re on school. But them they suffered a lot because they aim for a simple goal, to finish their studies. For us, it’s a typical thing, but for them it’s their biggest dream in life. But what caught my attention much; it was their contentment in their living. To eat three times a day was enough for them. It’s a simple living actually but with harmony and peace.

Community immersion is a program that can deepen your experience and learn more about the life outside of school. When doing this program you are positioned to be outside our comfort zone and inside an unfamilar environment to execute meaningful learning opportunities. We are all new to this specially that we have been spending our time throught our years studying and learning in school but to meet other people, engage, and even help them is truly a wonderful opportunity to shape character and grow as an individual in our society where unity is very important. As some people say experience is the best teacher and without it you can never be an expert in something. I realized that socializing and participating in different types of activity can be so influential in ones personality and way of life. That is why I am very excited to have an opportunity where I can be able to participate in a community immersion.

After watching this video, I realized how important immersion is to us students. It practices our skills and the way we communicate and interact with other people. It also gives is experience in life that will help us learn more. During my Senior high school year, I experienced Immersion for it is a requirement for us grade 12 students. That experience of mine taught me a lot of things that will help me in my daily lives and future. It gives us a chance to witness or experience the life or events that our community has and to contribute something that will benefit not only for ourselves but to the rest of the citizens. Community Immersion prepares and trains us to become ready when dealing with environmental, social and economic issues that will arise.

As a student in NSTP, it is our duty to serve people specially in helping those in need but that's not all there is to it, with NSTP we would be able to apply and enhance skills needed for us to be knowledgeable towards helping people in need; just like the different strategies showcased in the video which helps us to be prepared in terms of crisis and knowing what actions to take towards helping people the best way as possible, prioritizing things which needs action the most. With NSTP we would be able to improve our skills as a person, being community responsible which is really a good thing for we would be able to teach and help people, showing them crucial things and educating them towards the things which they will need the most in terms of community crisis.

It benefits not just the community but also the students. It benefits the students by enhancing their skills in terms of communication, problem-solving, and leadership. It can also help us to be more open-minded in terms of social issues. By the help of community immersion, we can also involve ourselves in a charity like feeding program or any programs that can help the community. It's just sad that we won't be able to experience community immersion as of now because of this circumstances that we are facing, but I am hoping that someday we would be able to meet one another and share our selves to others by helping them.

It benefits not only us, but the whole community, as we will be able to participate in various activities in order to become active members of the society in which we live. We can also learn and apply a variety of skills that will help us improve and develop as individuals in the future. This made me realized that we should engage and participate in these types of activities in order to be sufficiently socialized and to serve as role models for others. This allows us to demonstrate that we live in a culture that we enjoy and it is one way to demonstrate participation in a group to which we belong. To grow in this community is not easy to be face, we need to suffer and encounter many challenges in able to us to realize that it is not easy to live without knowing what is happening around us. We need to help each other so that we could have the good community and have powers to protect help one another for their needs and we need also to encourage them to trust the process because all of us believes we can grow together by helping each one of us without complaining.
Mangondato, Noraifa S BSMLS-1E Mth (9:00-10:30) As I watch this video, I realize the essence of community immersion in developing the skills of the students -becoming involve citizen, developing leadership, advocacy and problem-solving skills. Back when I was in high school, we were given opportunities to participate in a community immersion. Part of the program is giving out foods and supplies to children. Being able to join that event I was thrilled at the same time sad, thrilled on the part the event in those simple gestures we did made them so happy and the smile in their face is priceless. Sad when we heard their stories. It made me realize how blessed I am to have somehow comfortable life, I don’t have to walk for 1-2 hours just to go to school, I have nice school supplies, I have decent house to live and I eat 3 times a day.

It saddens me that my batch can't experience all that community immersion has to offer. Community immersion's exposure to various situations and different people helps us, students, widen our knowledge on how to handle things maturely and politely. Community immersion helps us become better people for other people. We are able build and own up to our responsibilities, discover and enhance more or our skills and values. Aside from these, through community immersion, we are able to become more knowledgeable about environment. What it needs, what state it's at and what we can do to bring it to a more improved environment. It shapes us into becoming a more aware and socially integrated person allowing us to avoid being ignorant of social issues surrounding our environment.

It also provides an opportunity to apply academic learning to real life events. Builds relationships and 'social connectedness' with peers and adults, and exposes students to diversity and multiculturalism. Improves lifelong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. The community immersion process is a series of interrelated and interwined phases which commences with the Pre- Immersion followed by entering the Community, Community Integration, Community Needs Assessment, Program. or Project Implementation, and Termination of the Project. Community immersion in NSTP is devised as a strategy in molding and 'conscientizing' students just so that they may be socially aware and responsible to their communities. In conclusion, community immersion is indeed a big contribution to our society’s progress.

After watching the video, it widens my knowledge about community immersions. It made me realize how Community Immersion important to us students. Being a student, we are expected to experience, to be trained, and feel what is the real world. I guess this is what community immersion aim in the first place. This help me have inspiration doing small experience and observation. This help me experience and feel the responsibility for being a better future adult citizen and be inspired to do something not just for our own success but for the benefit of the nation.

It can certainly mold a student into a much more capable citizen. It teaches students numerous lessons that will surely help them in pursuing a better version of themselves. Community Immersion is no exception to that. Community immersion sought to instill among students a better understanding and realization of the different community concerns through exposure to actual life situation which is very different from what we currently experience in school. It also aims to develop students in different areas and other social welfare services. Just by those few sentences, I can certainly say that all lessons, particularly Community Immersion, really is a must for us, students. We, students, should realize the value of these lessons. As from what I've learned from the video, community Immersion can greatly benefit students, it allows students to understand what life truly means. Students can build a relationship and strengthen their bond with their respective communities. We can acquire first-hand experiences and can also learn some life skills. Lastly, build our social skills. As one of the students of experienced work immersion during our Senior high School days. Which is closely related to what Sir. James was discussing. I can certainly say that I've learned a lot, so how much more if I truly engage in it with the guidance of NSTP.

Salcedo, Wehyah Kristal E. BSTM-1 TF 9:00 - 10:30am Upon watching the video, I can't help but look back at the days when I was an unmotivated kid. My mother on the other was a very helpful woman especially if there are certain activities that somehow involves the people in our community. There was this one time, when my mother insisted that I should participate in the community cleaning which is usually done days before the feast day/fiesta. I really don't have anything better to do at that moment so I eventually agreed. During the time I was cleaning, I was more concerned of the scorching heat of the sun hitting my face that is why I considered it "boring and tiring". However, I've met people that time to help me do my correctly and create a bond with a group of individuals who shares the same goal as me: to help. Days after that long day or the Sto. Nino feast day, I invited my schoolmates to come at our house for lunch and on the way, one of my schoolmates noticed how great our neighborhood looks and that theirs don't usually look as pleasing as what he was seeing that time. Of course, as one of the people who contributed, it was really heart warming knowing our efforts were worth it and appreciated but later on, I realized that what I did was more than just hearing good feedbacks from other people. It was also for the betterment and development of myself, the community and the environment.

A community could indeed, through concept, be exclusive and a community is composed of individuals who are mostly the same in their humankind. And as students who are still studying, being able to serve our community has also modified us by introducing us to people that we would not have met otherwise and by increasing our ability to comprehend and sympathize with everyone. I actually realised that Community Immersion is fundamental for such a variety of reasons. I discovered that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop what we learned in the classroom, and inside a real - life setting, to gain a greater cultural understanding and appreciation for differentiation. We learned to become an independent person and be responsible for what is being assigned to us, we can learn to socialize with other people, we can also learn how to solve problems in our community. Throughout the whole discussion as I watch the video, I have realized that by doing these things it could really be beneficial not only to those people in the community but also to the students and the people in-charge. I realized that to become a better person and a responsible individual as a member of a particular community, participating in this type of activities will help me socialize myself more to others, gain more knowledge and skills and develops my personality. Community Immersion allocates meaningful learning opportunities and stablished relationships with people and to experience different real life situations and I think that it is a better way to show interest in community where we live and to better engage ourselves in a community where we belong. In this activity, we, the students, will be exposed in a real-world setting, which will allow us to strengthen and improve our skills that we ought to need in order to become an effective professional later on. I also realize how important it is to be involved in this school activity, in order to gain cultural understanding and respect for diversity. And it would be such a great opportunity for us to build rapport whilst learning new skills and knowledge in real-life environments in the communities. And it will teach us the value of learning not only from our professors, but also from our fellows and individuals regardless of their age and status in the society. I have experiences community immersion before and I truly found it helpful to truly grasp the living status of people beyond what we are used to in our everyday lives. It widens my knowledge about the community immersion I’d never known. To relate this topic, before I was a shy person, I’m not interested in any environmental or community institution but because of this pandemic it opened my eyes to help other people who are seeking help even in small things. Not just because we’re only students we could not help others, small action or contribution to our community is a big help for them. That time I volunteered, it gave me an opportunity to learn more life skills which could help me become a better person in the future. Because the class was not boring and it was so interesting. It teaches us to be a better person. It helps us to be aware. Like for example the problems that encountered by our country nowadays. It makes us aware about our environment. This subject makes us realize about everything. Like the current issues that is tackled every time in the news. For me my NSTP experience was such an incredible experience. Because it helps me to build friendships and helps me also to be a better student. Our teacher was such an amazing teacher also. Every time he begin he’s class, he always brings amazing tricks in order to make the class happy and jolly. NSTP give me a lot of unforgettable experience and learning. It makes me aware of everything. Being aware, helps you to avoid bad situation. This subject teaches me a lot of lessons in life. I hope that I’ll experience something new again on the next semester.

I am downhearted that we couldn’t experience such activity due to the pandemic crisis that we are encountering and everyone wouldn’t risk their lives just to conduct a community immersion even though we can follow safety protocols. However, learning from the video, it helps students to adapt what they've learned to practical applications. Learners are required to integrate and multiculturalism when developing interactions and a social sense of connection with adults and peers. It enhances productivity, interpersonal, and reasoning skills for the betterment of their future. This will aid us to value and give significance to our environment.

Before that, some would make it seem like it is a hard job, a waste of time to do, and such. However, when I experienced it myself, I was able to learn more from the things even if it was beyond my goal. I tried to sell and do business with people, be trained with them, or even had an argument with ourselves, which at the end, we just laugh about. Community immersion was more than just doing tasks, of course it requires effort for it to be done successfully, however, those effort will always be as sweet as your learnings. Throughout this journey, we will be able to appreciate other people, and our families. Aside from working and being given the stress of it, we get to enjoy it with people as choose to.

By taking part in community immersions, we become acquainted with lots of issues existing not just in our local communities, but in other places as well. This experience will be an eye-opener for the youth, as it teaches us a lot about experiences, which cannot be taught with books, and help us foster a unique sense of goodness and humility. We students, especially in the medical field, need to immerse ourselves in communities, because we will be dealing with many people daily. It also prepares them to be socially aware and responsible individual members of the community. At first, I really did not know what NSTP was all about. I thought it’s a boring course in college but I was wrong. When the class started it was interesting because they will teach you how to know yourself and to know what you really want in your life. As we all know self awareness is to be aware of who you are, and to know you're self personality, strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes and of course your ability as an individual person. This self awareness can helps you to motivate your self more and to challenge the challenges in your life which you think can be hindrance of your success in life. Self awareness can be relates to self leadership because this self leadership has value for you personally as a leader or just as a human being. Meaning you are a person that capable of being a leader of yourself. This brings an impacts all aspect of your life, your health, your career and your relationships. Community service is not just us plainly helping the community but also helps us grow and become better citizens for our country. Exposure to a variety of people with different needs helps us develop our social understanding of the economic, political, and psychological needs of our society, making it an ideal training ground for us to hone our skills and apply them in solving real-life problems. Now it has been made clear to me that doing community service is a must for everyone. it is an experience that will surely enhance our skills and train us in becoming the Filipinos that the NSTP program is trying to mold in us. We students, who still have a lot to learn, must not take this opportunity for granted but instead make this a venture for learning.

It would be very uplifting to know that I can help the community addressing it's issues in any way I can. That I could be able to assess what issues can help with and focus on that. Those experiences will then help me better assess about how to solve other problems that would later then arise, personally and in the community. I could also learn from different experiences of the people I work with whom could be of help in the future. It would be gratifying to feel that because of those experiences, living and working with the people in the community, I would gain social acceptance and be functional to the benefit of the community.

It also give them the possibility to determine the opposite aspect of the community where assistance is much needed. And we, students, can do this community immersion not just a requirement to our subject in NSTP but as an individual who are capable and have that chance to help. But the matter is, as a student we regularly hear and being questioned about our contribution to the welfare of our society, and we are more likely to disregard the concept and say that "We are still students, we still needed to be taught of the thought of helping and contributing to the society". It allows us to open our minds and hearts on serving people who have different culture and diversity. It develops our leadership skills and problem-solving skills and boosting our self-esteem in immersing in different communities. Community Immersion gives us a great opportunity to experience and understand the real world nor the reality. Because since we are still students, we think that we already know reality is and that is not yet the case. Through this activity, we will be able to open our minds on what is reality. It is challenging and difficult yet, it helps our entire self. As students, we can contribute the community being sociable and helpful. And by this little ways, in the community that we immerse in, it is still a great impact.

One of the benefits one can get from community immersion is the possibility of seeing different views, perspectives, and scenarios through the life of the people within the community; and learn from the experiences you've encountered along the way. For me, community immersions are part of our duty as privileged individuals. Despite it being a duty, it is gratifying. To extend one's help is delightful, at which it will give us a sense of fulfillment. Aside from this, we also learn how to work with other people in pursuance of the immersion's success. Moreover, there are tons of projects the people can choose to volunteer or join. The video also reminded me that: responsible individuals would truly make this world a better place.

Additionally, community immersion also helps students in becoming more responsible and active members of the society. Back in high school, I was given the chance to join a community immersion that involved giving out school supplies and foods to the less fortunate grade school students of one the barangays in the city. We spent half a day with children and, in addition the the aforementioned activities, we bonded with them by playing with them, teaching them, and since it was Christmas season that time, we also told them the story about the Nativity of Jesus. To see the joy in their faces and them expressing how grateful they are, it made me realize how lucky I am with my life right now and it also serves as an eye-opener that even though it may seem like a small thing to me, it may leave a big impact on others - it truly is a heartwarming experience. It is with regret that I cannot involve myself in community immersions due to the pandemic. Hopefully, when this all ends, I will be able to participate in another activity and be able to help others.

This idea allows them to reflect on their presumptions, demeanors, and the information base of their calling and pick up social competence. In the field of teaching, this is an evolving method that evolves with changes in composition and quality of schools and the development of the faculty members. The community has become an indispensable accomplice to completely different learning arrangements. People can take part in: a residency program, where they live and work in a community and take courses for an indicated period of time; and a field experience-based program, where strategies courses are held in urban schools and summer exposures incorporate investigating and teaching almost the community and interning with community organizations. Our community immersive contacts have helped us as upcoming educators for the upcoming pre-job training. Immersing in the community helps students appreciate other people’s way of living and identify community needs. In addition, students may also develop some life skills and could also help them for their personal development through the experiences they will possibly encounter throughout the activities in community immersion. I have also learned that there are two models where community development operates; first is the effort that develop within community and are led by the community members, second is the effort that is began and operated by professional outside the community. Overall, I learned that through community immersion, students can apply their academic learnings and build relationship or connection in the community at the same time.

After watching the video. I realized how blessed we are. Being in a community immersion is a great challenge because you need to compromise with those matters that the indigenous people are used to. You need to show up that everything is fine and smoothly moving. You need to adjust and maximize your understanding. You need to accept and embrace the things you met along the way. You should avoid offending your poster families, like showing that you don’t like what’s going on, instead show love and care for them. I’ve realized many things. I’ve realized things which awakened my sensitivity as an individual. Imagine a child walking everyday just to go to school? Just to learn! That’s how blessed we are! We just ride in a car and eventually we’re on school. But them they suffered a lot because they aim for a simple goal, to finish their studies. For us, it’s a typical thing, but for them it’s their biggest dream in life. But what caught my attention much; it was their contentment in their living. To eat three times a day was enough for them. It’s a simple living actually but with harmony and peace.

We are all new to this specially that we have been spending our time throught our years studying and learning in school but to meet other people, engage, and even help them is truly a wonderful opportunity to shape character and grow as an individual in our society where unity is very important. As some people say experience is the best teacher and without it you can never be an expert in something. I realized that socializing and participating in different types of activity can be so influential in ones personality and way of life. As a student in NSTP, it is our duty to serve people specially in helping those in need but that's not all there is to it, with NSTP we would be able to apply and enhance skills needed for us to be knowledgeable towards helping people in need; just like the different strategies showcased in the video which helps us to be prepared in terms of crisis and knowing what actions to take towards helping people the best way as possible, prioritizing things which needs action the most. Upon watching the video, I've realized the value and essence of community immersion. It benefits not just the community but also the students. It benefits the students by enhancing their skills in terms of communication, problem-solving, and leadership. It can also help us to be more open-minded in terms of social issues. By the help of community immersion, we can also involve ourselves in a charity like feeding program or any programs that can help the community. It's just sad that we won't be able to experience community immersion as of now because of this circumstances that we are facing, but I am hoping that someday we would be able to meet one another and share our selves to others by helping them.

After watching the video, I learned a lot about the importance of group immersion, especially for students. It benefits not only us, but the whole community, as we will be able to participate in various activities in order to become active members of the society in which we live. We can also learn and apply a variety of skills that will help us improve and develop as individuals in the future. This made me realized that we should engage and participate in these types of activities in order to be sufficiently socialized and to serve as role models for others. This allows us to demonstrate that we live in a culture that we enjoy and it is one way to demonstrate participation in a group to which we belong. As I watch this video, I realize the essence of community immersion in developing the skills of the students -becoming involve citizen, developing leadership, advocacy and problem-solving skills. Back when I was in high school, we were given opportunities to participate in a community immersion. Part of the program is giving out foods and supplies to children. Being able to join that event I was thrilled at the same time sad, thrilled on the part the event in those simple gestures we did made them so happy and the smile in their face is priceless. Sad when we heard their stories. It made me realize how blessed I am to have somehow comfortable life, I don’t have to walk for 1-2 hours just to go to school, I have nice school supplies, I have decent house to live and I eat 3 times a day.

It saddens me that my batch can't experience all that community immersion has to offer. Community immersion's exposure to various situations and different people helps us, students, widen our knowledge on how to handle things maturely and politely. Community immersion helps us become better people for other people. We are able build and own up to our responsibilities, discover and enhance more or our skills and values. Aside from these, through community immersion, we are able to become more knowledgeable about environment. What it needs, what state it's at and what we can do to bring it to a more improved environment. Community immersion is a strategy in community organizing that is sought to imbibe among the NSTP trainees a better understanding and realization of the different community concerns through the exposure on actual life situations specifically in the deprived, depressed and the underprivileged (DDU) communities. It also provides an opportunity to apply academic learning to real life events. Builds relationships and 'social connectedness' with peers and adults, and exposes students to diversity and multiculturalism. Improves lifelong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. The community immersion process is a series of interrelated and interwined phases which commences with the Pre- Immersion followed by entering the Community, Community Integration, Community Needs Assessment, Program. or Project Implementation, and Termination of the Project. Community immersion in NSTP is devised as a strategy in molding and 'conscientizing' students just so that they may be socially aware and responsible to their communities.
In conclusion, community immersion is indeed a big contribution to our society’s progress.

It teaches students numerous lessons that will surely help them in pursuing a better version of themselves. Community Immersion is no exception to that. Community immersion sought to instill among students a better understanding and realization of the different community concerns through exposure to actual life situation which is very different from what we currently experience in school. It also aims to develop students in different areas and other social welfare services. Just by those few sentences, I can certainly say that all lessons, particularly Community Immersion, really is a must for us, students. We, students, should realize the value of these lessons. As from what I've learned from the video, community Immersion can greatly benefit students, it allows students to understand what life truly means. Students can build a relationship and strengthen their bond with their respective communities. We can acquire first-hand experiences and can also learn some life skills. Lastly, build our social skills. As one of the students of experienced work immersion during our Senior high School days. Which is closely related to what Sir. James was discussing. I have already experienced the community immersion since high school but in this video, you will truly understand its importance and deepen knowledge about it. Upon watching the video, I can't help but look back at the days when I was an unmotivated kid. My mother on the other was a very helpful woman especially if there are certain activities that somehow involves the people in our community. There was this one time, when my mother insisted that I should participate in the community cleaning which is usually done days before the feast day/fiesta. I really don't have anything better to do at that moment so I eventually agreed. During the time I was cleaning, I was more concerned of the scorching heat of the sun hitting my face that is why I considered it "boring and tiring". However, I've met people that time to help me do my correctly and create a bond with a group of individuals who shares the same goal as me: to help. Days after that long day or the Sto. Nino feast day, I invited my schoolmates to come at our house for lunch and on the way, one of my schoolmates noticed how great our neighborhood looks and that theirs don't usually look as pleasing as what he was seeing that time. Of course, as one of the people who contributed, it was really heart warming knowing our efforts were worth it and appreciated but later on, I realized that what I did was more than just hearing good feedbacks from other people. It was also for the betterment and development of myself, the community and the environment.

In a community, everyone should be bound together with common bonds and simply looks out for one another not just because it is practical, but because it would be absolutely correct. A community could indeed, through concept, be exclusive and a community is composed of individuals who are mostly the same in their humankind. And as students who are still studying, being able to serve our community has also modified us by introducing us to people that we would not have met otherwise and by increasing our ability to comprehend and sympathize with everyone. I actually realised that Community Immersion is fundamental for such a variety of reasons. I discovered that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop what we learned in the classroom, and inside a real - life setting, to gain a greater cultural understanding and appreciation for differentiation. We learned to become an independent person and be responsible for what is being assigned to us, we can learn to socialize with other people, we can also learn how to solve problems in our community. I am downhearted that we couldn’t experience such activity due to the pandemic crisis that we are encountering and everyone wouldn’t risk their lives just to conduct a community immersion even though we can follow safety protocols. However, learning from the video, it helps students to adapt what they've learned to practical applications. Learners are required to integrate and multiculturalism when developing interactions and a social sense of connection with adults and peers. I was in my senior years when I first grasp on what community immersion is like. Before that, some would make it seem like it is a hard job, a waste of time to do, and such. However, when I experienced it myself, I was able to learn more from the things even if it was beyond my goal. I tried to sell and do business with people, be trained with them, or even had an argument with ourselves, which at the end, we just laugh about.
Community immersion was more than just doing tasks, of course it requires effort for
it to be done successfully, however, those effort will always be as sweet as your learnings.

At first, I really did not know what NSTP was all about. I thought it’s a boring course in college but I was wrong. When the class started it was interesting because they will teach you how to know yourself and to know what you really want in your life. As we all know self awareness is to be aware of who you are, and to know you're self personality, strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes and of course your ability as an individual person. This self awareness can helps you to motivate your self more and to challenge the challenges in your life which you think can be hindrance of your success in life. Self awareness can be relates to self leadership because this self leadership has value for you personally as a leader or just as a human being. Meaning you are a person that capable of being a leader of yourself. This brings an impacts all aspect of your life, your health, your career and your relationships. Community immersion is a curriculum that allows you to broaden your horizons and learn more about life outside of the classroom. When you participate in this program, you will be forced to step outside of our comfort zone and into an unfamiliar atmosphere in order to take advantage of valuable learning opportunities. We are all new to this, particularly because we have spent our lives studying and learning in school, but meeting new people, engaging with them, and even assisting them is a wonderful opportunity to form character and develop as individuals in our community where unity is valued. In subsequence to watching the video, I remembered my first experience in community gardening at a certain place here in our city that was held by the previous school that I had attended. For one thing, the hope that educators have is that students are fully-fledged people who rise to the highest standards of their community. So it’s not so much that students in particular have community service, as it is that we hope that students happen to be the kind of good people who are already doing community service.
But of course there’s lots of rational reasons to try to promote community service among students.
First, there’s already enough trends toward social elitism as a result of higher education that it’s valuable to encourage students to get out of the ivory tower and into the community.
Second, fully-fledged people should have a variety of interests and social contacts. Encouraging students to go into the community increases the likelihood that they will find contacts for employment and will build valuable skills that will help them.
This is especially true for students who are learning skills such as economics, business management, social work, and so forth. Putting them in practical environments working with people, especially with professional adults, is a low-risk way of giving them hands-on experience. In many cases, the volunteer work that students do will expose them to real-world phenomena that can guide their later scholarship.

One of the benefits one can get from community immersion is the possibility of seeing different views, perspectives, and scenarios through the life of the people within the community; and learn from the experiences you've encountered along the way. For me, community immersions are part of our duty as privileged individuals. Despite it being a duty, it is gratifying. To extend one's help is delightful, at which it will give us a sense of fulfillment. Aside from this, we also learn how to work with other people in pursuance of the immersion's success. Moreover, there are tons of projects the people can choose to volunteer or join. The video also reminded me that: responsible individuals would truly make this world a better place.

Community Immersion, as defined in the video, is a strategy in community organizing that involves students in activities for the betterment of their community. Additionally, community immersion also helps students in becoming more responsible and active members of the society. Back in high school, I was given the chance to join a community immersion that involved giving out school supplies and foods to the less fortunate grade school students of one the barangays in the city. We spent half a day with children and, in addition the the aforementioned activities, we bonded with them by playing with them, teaching them, and since it was Christmas season that time, we also told them the story about the Nativity of Jesus. To see the joy in their faces and them expressing how grateful they are, it made me realize how lucky I am with my life right now and it also serves as an eye-opener that even though it may seem like a small thing to me, it may leave a big impact on others - it truly is a heartwarming experience. It is with regret that I cannot involve myself in community immersions due to the pandemic. Hopefully, when this all ends, I will be able to participate in another activity and be able to help others.

Submerged communities allow individuals who are unable to work in these environments and people known to the community. This idea allows them to reflect on their presumptions, demeanors, and the information base of their calling and pick up social competence. In the field of teaching, this is an evolving method that evolves with changes in composition and quality of schools and the development of the faculty members. The community has become an indispensable accomplice to completely different learning arrangements. People can take part in: a residency program, where they live and work in a community and take courses for an indicated period of time; and a field experience-based program, where strategies courses are held in urban schools and summer exposures incorporate investigating and teaching almost the community and interning with community organizations.
Our community immersive contacts have helped us as upcoming educators for the upcoming pre-job training. It reveals how areas we have strengthened and improved the talents we must have to arrange to become a successful teacher in the future. It moreover broadens our understanding concerning concerns and issues that arise in society. In this way, we should be cautious about how we handle and provide help to clarify such problems in society. As defined, it is one of the strategies of community organizing. It is the exposure to the students to various community activities to become responsible members of society where they belong. In essence, this activity provides an actual picture of the state of communities that I belong and bring me outside of the classroom. The spirit of civic action is also emphasized and in Filipino tradition, the spirit of bayanihan lives on. In this time of pandemic, where interaction is limited, immersion happens in online communities but the lack of face to face engagement limits authenticity and can not substitute to actual interaction.

As I finished the video, what it taught me is that, community immersion mainly helps the students in becoming socially, morally and economically aware through activities such as home visits, assisting in production works, sharing in household and community activities, and many more. Immersing in the community helps students appreciate other people’s way of living and identify community needs. In addition, students may also develop some life skills and could also help them for their personal development through the experiences they will possibly encounter throughout the activities in community immersion. I have also learned that there are two models where community development operates; first is the effort that develop within community and are led by the community members, second is the effort that is began and operated by professional outside the community. What I truly realized about this video is that community immersion is very crucial to the development of a student. It clearly explained the importance of community immersion on how it gives strategies needed to build a better system to respond with community crisis. It made me realize how it improves and help to raise public awareness on issues relevant to the community. Engaging myself through this will help me develop real-world skills, helps me learn that the work I do can make a real impact in the community, and be fully equipped in environmental issues, strengthen our ties to the community, and broaden the support network. This will also help me to amplify my capacity to understand and empathize with others.
