Barbed tackle feels more like a handicap especially with rare fishes

@@FicusLicker actually when referring to different kinds of fish you can say “fishes”, however if it’s multiple of the same fish then it’s just fish.
But he's talking about multible fish, not just fish or fish, but many fishes. @@FicusLicker

At least this one makes sense...I will adept to this rule now that I know it, but I will never accept that english people think a moustache is not a type of beard
Auto hook works bad with rare fish. It helps to catch only cheap one
Auto hook auto hits the fish, the tackle tries to grab the fish
You are confusing the enchantment whit the bobber
Auto hook only interacts automatically when there would be a !
The barbed hook on the other hand automatically mooves the fishing bar to ease the catching of fishes, only weakness are fast fishes that can launch the bar away

These are all forbidden because they require selecting an objectively inferior option (Auto-hook, Acrobat, Agriculturalist) that is expensive to replace
Nah 10k is nothing in late game

For most players, acrobat is easily the best combat profession late game. If you are good enough to succeed with a crit-dagger build it may well be better, but the hammer special spam is much better defensively.
For fishing enchantments, I don't see anything being much better. Energy is irrelevant by the time you should be enchanting a fishing rod.
Master I would put on par as a nice convenience but not really matter in the vast majority of cases.
Preserving could be nice for wild bait, but the benefit for anything else is pretty minimal.
For agriculturalist, ten thousand to switch professions is nothing by late game. It isn't amazing but for maximum in game efficiency, you should probably primarily use it and swap to artisan periodically to sell everything. Note that it doesn't really help the starting farm, it is only useful with Starfruit on Ginger Island and in the greenhouse.
Acrobat is the superior option, hammer special attack is the reason why
@88porpoise just curious, how does it not really help the starting farm? You still grow things on it, unless you fill it with sheds etc.
The speed grow only works on your first harvest. It won't affect your post-first harvest

yeah it doesn't affect after the first harvest it's from the wiki and if they add it in 1.6 they should havr updated the wiki but they didn't so it's still the same
Get master chant if you are going for legendary fish. It levels your fishing up
Nah, lemme fix this.
Auto-hook is good, but barbed hook will make it harder to fish. Get the cork bobber. Its bar size increase will auto catch anything the barbed hook can while making difficult fish easier to catch.
Personally, I just use the sword with Vampiric. With the speed and range, I don't die. The hammer is so slow that I die constantly because enemies slip through. Heck, you can see all the damage he is taking in the video.
Use the third trick if you want, but it barely makes a difference. I think it's 1-2 days for Starfruit. It can reduce Ancient Fruit and Sweet Gem Berries by 2-3 extra days max. Is 20k worth that?
Edit: The 2-3 days I was referencing is specifically from the Agriculturalist profession which costs 20k to swap and swap back.
The 3rd "trick" decreases the growth time by quite a bit. 43% is a lot more than just 2-3 days on Sweet Gem Berries.
using ruby in the forge makes the hammer fast enough to contend with the sword, but yeah vampiric is still probably better? maybe? i mean just use food tbh, i dont think its that cut and dry

@@corey2232 The 2-3 days is from Agriculturalist. 20k for 2.8 days is not worth the effort to me.
It does not work well on ancient fruit, because fertilizer doesn't increase the frequency of multiple harvests. You grow them mega quick, and then still harvest 1/week
ive been a sword main for my entire time playing stardew but even when i switched to the infinity gavel i refused to get the artful enchantment. my main source of mining income is actually cloth dropped from mummies, and the crusader enchantment means i can save tons of bombs

Ancient fruit regrowth doesn’t get sped up. Any fertilizer or retaining soil is better.
Fill big shed with starfruit garden plot and the 100% retainer soil then hyper grow speed up fertilizer greenhouse with starfruit
Then make 8 deluxe coops filled with dinosaurs and make prehistoric mayo with 30 crystallariums farming jade and diamond staricaise to 200 everyday without fail for auto petters and then have 100 mega bombs and 999 explosive ammo with double lucky ring with double iridium band while eating spicy eel and espresso shot. Pause after every staircase to save time and max out your inventory on iridium and prismatic shards. Smelt your ore with 50 of the new 25 ore smelter. Sell it all. Ssleverything keep selling. Do it every day without fail. It doesn’t matter how big your number gets keep going fill your finger island with iridium sprinkler, and hyper grow with starfruit. Marry Sebastian don’t go for perfection you just need junimo cart and to see the number get bigger till it trivializes the game then decorate your farm until it is perfect in every way and buy everything and realize that your sad it’s over and you actually loved the journey all along even tho you wanted to get there so bad

I got a speedbuffed hammer (from volcano) and it just destroys everything at the speed of a sword
Growing sweet gemberries faster is not better than growing then with higher quality, necessarily, however, one can always turn worse ones into seeds, so it's a choice.

YK, i thought stardew end game is only mr qi quest and finishing community center . I just found out that there are Volcano and Ginger island 😂😂

What u can do is pick agriculturist to grow the crops and before you sell switch perfessions to artisan after u got everything proccessed
@@partygamingz3332 people always recommend this but it costs 10k to swap to artisan, then another 10k to swap back. in what situation is artisan going to give you more than 20k in funds? honestly, i'm just going to stick with artisan

Iridium sprinklers, with the pressurized nozzle attachments from Mr. Qi’s shop on ginger island.

Barbed hook is absolutely bad ngl. auto hook enchant is good but master is better imo.
hammer seems really slow for me, I prefer the sword much more than the hammer. vampiric enchant is W for sword
most people depend on artisan for money so changing to agriculturist just to decrease 2 to 3 days isn't worth it. the speed gro is good tho

I have never been able to catch a fish after that first one when you get the bamboo rod. I've never been able to successfully catch any fish. I absolutely hate the fishing system in stardew Valley.

@@ihatereigen Actually, a few hours after I posted this comment, I finally caught some fish. Mostly with the training rod but was able to catch 1 with the bamboo rod!

Instead of holding the button down press it really fast at different speeds to keep the bar on the fish

Omni geodes, monster drops, skull caverns.
The biggest one is skull caverns, as that one has the biggest combination of chances to get them.
Buy chicken name it [74] 😏
The deeper you go in Skull Cavern the higher chance to get them

Completed the community center/John warehouse to unlock ginger island. There is a volcano at the far north of the island. Competing a volcano run let’s you use the forge. You can give weapons buff using crystals, enchantments using prismatic shards, and you can upgrade galaxy weapons with galaxy souls

Number 1 is bad advice I'm sorry by the time you get to the forge fishing is the least of your problems and any fishing quest you get you can use this trick
