  • After spending nearly a year in foster care in Norway, toddlers Abhigyan and Aishwarya are back in India. They arrived at the Delhi airport a little before 10 am today with their uncle, Arunabhas Bhattacharya; they are expected to leave for Kolkata tomorrow. The children's paternal grandparents received them at the airport.

As a breastfeeding mother of one year old daughter, it made me anxious and broke my heart when she said my kid is on breastfeeding in the trailer.... Western culture is suffering in terms of their EQ because they undermine bonding that could take place when children are under 3years of age, their upcoming generations would dread even more due to this. In my experience as a mother, researches does not always hold true for kids as each kid is different and we have to go with our intuitions as a mom and not just push helpless newborns into independence, it would come in a better way once they are emotionally, mentally and physically secure that is why these primitive years hold a lot of significance. India being an ancient civilization has learnt child-rearing through experience and westerners are trying to learn through researches

Look into this topic you will be shocked like me. I was in utter shock and horrified that this kinds of things is happening in Europe, apparently its quite a huge problem there and especially for immigrants those kids that are taken away by the official for what ever reason they are just a source of money the whole system profit from it. I read a case where a new born baby was taken from the hospital just few hours after birth. The more the children more the income this particular organisation make they even has been to human rights court of Europe numerous time. I used to think norway, sweden all these countries are pretty good in terms of sensitive matters like this but boy was i wrong. Not an ideal place to live if you have kids and especially if you are immigrants. This Indian couple got lucky they were able to get the children back but most people dont.

Children’s organization/office needs to do proper investigation first before removing children from their home. Ask lots of questions from parents, families and neighbors,,,,you will def get a better answer. Adults make quick judgments when removing kids from their parents, and this has a lasting effect on the kids. They take the kids away and place them in foster home, instead of doing a proper investigation.

To all not Understanding the Norway pov, children in Europe face child abuse a lot. Recently I saw a video where a mother making a video and instructing her 5 year old for an outro when she was sleepy, she was threatening and it was captured in the opposite mirror and the child was frightened. Luckily it was a live and she didn't get time to edit and people noticed it. So as you can see the empathy is really less as many gets pregnant from rape or face teen pregnancy and become mother when they don't want the country wants to make sure the children are safe.
In India light spanking is allowed but this would create suspicion of abusing the kid there and threatening them, as the pain from the mother side shown to the audience who are okay with this kind of parenting, people are not seeing the source of such laws.
And Indian mothers who went there in the old times after their marriage were mostly naive and unaware. It's totally palatable they didn't took time to see around them and the atrocities of people or the laws made to protect them. She was naive in my opinion and the way channeled her inner turmoil they only took it as a proof that she is insane... But yeah she is also at fault she should have been careful about her surroundings as we say Jaisa Desh Vaisa Bhesh... All will judge according to their standards

But by then the couple got divorced. After another legal battle for the custody rights in India. The mother got the custody rights and now she lives with her children in Kolkata.

yeah they did a nice job taking care of the child but the amount of suffering they inflicted on the parent is unforgivable
Ps if the west is that much caring for the children well and good but don't compare it with east we have different way for raising children because unlike west we don't throw children out to fend for themselves when they grow up we let them go when they are ready that's why West has many East people have higher post than Westerners themselves
