I didn't know Scandinavian countries were like this until I saw this movie. It was shocking and very hard to watch because I was angry, upset and sad. Rani did justice to her role, she is truly one of the best indian actresses. Since she lived as the character while acting, and being a mother herself, she must have empathized deeply with Sagarika's pain and the injustice, so it's no surprise that she couldn’t help crying when meeting her. I would too. Applaud Sagarika for persevering, hope she and her kids live happily ever after! Also hope other innocent parents like her get their kids back, and hope the Scandinavian countries change the faults of this system and become more mindful of other countries cultures, stop ripping innocent families apart
I live in Norway and scandivian countries are like this especially Norway and Sweden they tok alot of children from there mother and the sad thing is this is still happening alot of mothers lost there children in those heartless countries
Perfect selection to Rani Mukherjee for acting as sagarika Chakraborty because both are Bengali. This is the teal fact in the Bengali mother who is suffering by his husband and the govt. Of Norway. As a Bengali I know sagarika's problem from Bengali News papers. Thaks to Karon Johar for your creativity. But this flim is not complete Sagarika' s full fact ,I think other rest of fact comming soon. Because her straggling is continuing specially from her husband and in law family and Norway govt. Also . Norway Govt. Has prizes her husband to give citizens of that country.
I hope mrs chaterjee( I know not her real name) uses and inner strength to help other parents have the courage to fight for their children. She has inspired me and I’m forever grateful to have watched such an amazing mother.
Truly a big salute 2 this brave mother, Sagarika, who left no stone unturned n fought first with d Canadian govt, n then with her own family 4 d custody of her children. What a performance by Rani Maam, no 1 cud hv dn it better, beautiful n realistic portrayal. Truly an award winning performance, 👏👏👏👏🙏
I lived few months in abroad and it's very true that Child's Law is very strong in abroad. In school, teachers' always keep notice on the child if any injury mark in body and if any child talks about torture or anything, they take a drastic step towards parents. This story, I think, is a true portrait of child care in Norway.

The problem with this movie is they released the trailer and after seeing that, I couldn't put myself together nor gather strength to watch the full movie.. I know, the movie will shatter me down totally.. I didn't afford to go thru that.. Hats off the Brave Mother Sagarika and as always well acted Rani Mukerji ❤
Our government should help all the Indian parents who are dealing with this issue... And the rest of the Indians should stop moving to these countries!
Norway are child snatchers not only with Indians...They do so with Arab, African and other Asian children. Some are snatched from the hospital from birth. I am glad Bollywood is making it visual and shedding light on this ugly issue.

No.mother should go through what Mrs Chatterji n her children went through. But having said that we as Indians having our own strong believes n cultures should keep in mind that while in Rome do as the Romans do. In this case the neighbors had complained that the children were fed on floors of the house n kids were not seen much outside n that they heard crying all the time, that's when they alerted the child welfare agencies because all this was unusual in their country. When a friend traveled to neitherlands with her young kids ,she was given a list of dos n don'ts by her isiter who was already settled there. For example don't beat or shouts at kids, the kids will not talk loudly or scream in public places ,most restaurants will not allow kids, no.littering n throwing wastes on the streets ects. Whereas these behaviors are normal in India.

Norway, sweden etc did this to their own people. Just 100 years back sweden took tens of thousands of children away from Iceland which was under their control. The reason was they were aborginal natives of iceland with their own culture and values which sweden decided was uncivilized compared to Sweden. To subjugate the native people they took all their children and gave them to Swedish families in Sweden so they can grow up in Sweden's culture, language and values and forget all about their original values.

With enforcement of such laws, childcare become child abuse.
Only a strong culture can tackle such issues and India has that child care culture.
