Hi Justin, it really does. We rarely go the cinema...unless there is a movie the kids are dying to see and can't wait for the on demand release. This room really gets used all the time!
Great Theater! ❤ those doors. We bought this home that had an indoor basketball court we changed it into a theater. Limited in what we can do with it though.

@@HappyHauteHome I put the raised floor in the house floor plan so the builder took care of that. I figure let the builder take care of the heavy construction and I build all the speakers etc.

I wished we had a theater room , because my spouse loves to watch movie nightly. But we have a family room and he still makes a lot of use out of it daily. Just the two of us. empty nesters I used to have a theater popcorn popper like the one, you have. And we have a kitchenette next to the family room, where we have counter , sink, soda refrigerator , and cabinets . This is what I wanted for our lower level of home . Plus we have surround sound speakers throughout the lower level in all the rooms.
Maybe one day you will be able to build one in your home now or a future home. I would love to build another one someday, a great investment and one that was used daily.

You have great looking theater room with a nice projector. Don't take this the wrong way but your avr equipment and projector screen are the weak points of this theater room. This is my opinion you can do so much better in that room. I looked at the Amazon links on the stuff you got for that room.
Can I give you some suggestions. To have a better front sound stage. The front 2 speakers need to be in front of the curtains and the center speaker angled down towards your seating position.
@@jsil36 We just need to pull the curtains to the side but honestly the system sounds incredible. No issues at all with sound. I had the same concern when the installers suggested the top speaker but no issues...it sounds fantastic.
You have a great space. If you’re interested in transforming your audio and visual experience, I could redesign your speaker and screen setup. The difference would be astounding. I would put in a larger screen, upgrade and reposition the speakers for better sound, add in a second subwoofer, upgrade your electronics and add room acoustics treatments to tame echos and sound reflections. You would be amazed at how much better the audio and visual experience would be. Let me know if you would like to chat to hear more.

Balancing cost and quality is always tough. We have been very happy with what we have and it has served us well.
