  • The cross block is a better way to block in point fighting, as it allows a great efficiency of movement. You can cover the vital areas quicker and with more easy utilizing this method. Although, it's definitely a little controversial.

      :D i am wondering do you think that not being there when punch comes(tai sabaki, curi ashi...) and then countering is more effective than just block and counter ?

      If I had a preference, I wouldn’t be close enough for them to hit me. I would use footwork to move around my opponent and try to intercept their attack or attack first. Move first, block second

      is that effective for street fight, and is it effective to deceive them to attack from far and miss first punch what is going to give you time in that gap between first and second punch to counter, or maybe if your opponent reach far enough to hits you but you retreat and then counter (i am talking about street fight) Do you wan't me to send you a link of kumite highlights where you can see what I am talking about?
