Circle City Kicks Open Tournament

I went and competed at the Circle City Kicks Open tournament on April 21, 2018. It was a good competition. Placed 2nd in sparring. Check out my video to see my matches and what I learned.

good stuff the kicks are good maybe follow with backfist snap at elbow use offensive ridge hand, or kick then angle or scatter step and blitz him , utilize the reverse punch also.Fake the knee chamber and backfist him, , fake with shoulder ,waist, knee, or probe with the lead hand , lean back of the shoulder and counter him with sidekick , hook ick. ridgehand,

Yes. This was one of my first point karate tournaments. I love the difference between the TKD fights I'm used to and these. Definitely another fun puzzle to figure out.

Yeah. I also wasn’t ready for the sport Karate either. Definitely something new to start working on!
