- This is part 2 of a two-part video on Classical Spanish Guitar making from start to finish. It lasts a lot longer and goes into much more detail than previous videos I have uploaded on the same subject. Part 1 is available at • Making a Classical Spa...
It's a privilege to be able to see every step of a Spanish Style guitar making .
Thank you for sharing.
I am proud to own it. Very easy to play. it was a beautiful guitar with sweet treble. If you're considering about acquiring one for yourself, Jim guitars price is very reasonable. The construction is rock solid ! Singapore humidity is about 80 to 99%, which we cant help.
Hubiera querido escuchar algunas notas o acordes.
I love a Spanish Joint. Originally designed for keels in Spanish ships.
Such a beautiful work
how fight
Great work, thanks for posting.
Beautiful instrument and very detailed videos. Thank you
Beautiful
Excelente trabajo. Muchas gracias.
BENDIGO A DIOS POR LAS MANOS BENDITAS DE ESTE GRAN MAESTRO ARTESANO!!!!
That is awesome. The part with your fingers so close to the router bit is a bit scary though.
Sublime
Music on video... top
Thank you. Why do you use kerfed lining between back and sides, but use small pieces glued individually between the soundboard and the sides? Is this so that the soundboard can vibrate better? A bit like a loudspeaker with soft rubber around the edge of the cone? Is it best if the connection between soundboard and sides is rigid or not?
Individual triangular-shaped peones are used for the soundboard since their position means they are inaccessible to clamps such as are used for the linings. Some makers leave gaps between adjacent blocks which supposedly allows for freer vibration of the soundboard, but I am unconvinced by this.
@@ConVivo hello , man, my dream is how to do this, i'm brazilian
I would love to know what the decorative wood is in the head veneer. Looks like a burl of some kind. Maple? Beautiful.
That veneer inlay is golden madrone burl.
I enjoyed the video and saw it whole, which is rare for me, cause I make Spanish guitars as well. Very lovely spruce top. Is it alpine?
Many thanks for your comments. No, the top is not Alpine spruce but AAAA Engelmann, sourced from British Columbia in Canada.
Whats it sound like?
Gracias 🙏🏻
