I'm 5'10" and have ridden a medium-sized Stumpjumper for 12 years and always thought that was the perfect size.. Just purchased a Levo SL in a large frame. It fits me far better than I expected. I'm far more comfortable, can handle the bike better, and wish I'd been on this size bike long before now. Plus the 29er's are fabulous.

Awesome! We love hearing from people who are right on the line between sizes, so any info you can leave about how you decided to swap up is extremely helpful!

This has to be one of, if not THE best understandable and detailed videos of getting a good fit. Thanks

Thanks for making this video! Having ridden bikes too small for me, I know just how important it is for stability and comfort. Though, even at 5'10", I find myself liking L or even XL EMTB's for the weight distribution. People that were into motorcycles before seem to like larger frames, too, because they're used to throwing around something heavy. On road/cruiser styles, though, I'm still mostly Medium. All depends on how you'd use it.

4:51 i am 165cm and I don’t want to stop the video, open browser, type “inches in cm”, open another tab and type “feet in cm”, open video and read the first line with numbers, open first tab and type numbers, open the other tab and type numbers, get sum of results, open video and check the table, repeat the process for two mins, in order to understand that table. Instead i want to write this paragraph.

Thanks for this video, am looking for an ebike and almost bought the VeloWave bike but I noticed just how big the frame was. This video explained the different sizes especially for shorter people.

Really cool and useful, as usual! Thank you.
PS: are you planning on testing the new Turbo Vado SL? Is it a good competitor for the Gazelle and other commute bikes on your top list? ;)

Thanks Sergio! I'm trying to get my hands on one, but it's been a bit tough. Definitely by the end of the summer though!

can you do a video on which components customer can upgrade? I think with most bikes, the fork, entire handlebar system and stem, derailleurs, as well wheels can be upgraded but I want expert opinion.

Hey there, so yes you can upgrade just about anything on your bike. If you're looking for specifics about which to switch to, that is more of a case by case basis depending on which bike you have and what you're looking to do with it.

The Gazelle e bikes have crazy tall standover heights. Those Scandinavians must have long legs!

Hi, im 178.5 cm tall and tried kenevo sl s3 which felt comfortable. As Im in between 2 sizes, I also tried S4 with shorter stem, it was not bad too. i have proportional body. Which size would you recommend? Thanks

    A little help, please.
I’m 6ft 4in. I’m not having any luck finding a cruiser in a 22in frame you suggest for someone my size. Any referrals of a xl electric cruiser style bike. 27.5 preferred, tires 2.5 wideish. Big thanks for your consideration.

I have electric bike 10" wheels called DYU S2. Very uncomfortable on sidewalk with cracks. Would 14" ebike should be comfortable? Trying to avoid 20" ebike, if I could get away with smaller wheels.

I was looking to getting a electric bike there was one on Amazon that was great 26-in foldable. But I am 6 ft tall. There's a controversy about whether you should get a 26-in or a 27.5.
They don't show the frame size at all.
A lot of people say they use 26 in and they are fine at 6 ft 1 in
I do have another model that's 27 and 1/2 but it's not foldable is an inch and a half really that much of a difference?

Small ends at 30" inseam and medium starts at 30" inseam... which way would you go, small or medium? I am right on a 30" inseam with the shoes I'de be wearing while riding. I'm going to get an Aventon Aventure ebike and it looks like I can go either small or medium but I want to be sure I'm getting a size I'll be comfortable with. Unfortunately, I don't have a bike store around with the bike so I can't try it out first.

What to do if I'm cursed at 5'6? I'm at the max size for a small and bottom of the size chart for a medium :(
