KathleenLights My daughter is 2 and she makes me play this video for her all the time, she thinks its the funniest thing when you drop the sponges. She repeats everything you say lol! We love your videos!!
I kept waiting for you to cut to yourself with your foundation off in order to apply with the sponges. But when you just started applying foundation I was shocked! That's your skin without foundation?!?! If my skin looked that amazing I'd never wear anything other than eye makeup! Jealous!
Her skin really is beautiful. She really only needs a bb cream if that.
I agree, at first I thought she was already wearing foundation untill she started applying it!
She is wearing it at the start
holy shit I thought she had a full face of makeup. I was like "what is this comment about?". I would NEVER wear face makeup!
honestly I think she's adding another layer over her previous layer...
I just bought the rt done I love it I've been using it for a month now. I will not ever pay $20 for a makeup sponge, they literally cost pennies to make and then beauty blender chargers 40 times that for a ridiculous profit. In such of these beauty companies sucking me dry. If more people stood together and speed buying over priced items we would see a real change in cost of beauty stuff.just my right 😘
Who's watching this in 2016? Where the crew at👍
👍🏽 yeh cuz I just bout the RT sponge for $4. see what couple years does? slash the price!🔪💵
Here👍🏻
Woot 👏😃🎉
ayyyeeee
meee
i bought this and threw it away because i felt to was too hard and didnt realize i had to soak it first... #FAIL
Me to! XD
Same
exactly the same...
+Queer Kyra Wow, seriously?! If you know you have to wet the Beauty Blender, why in the heck did you not know to wet the Real Techniques one? o.O And FYI... the "Beauty Blender" is way *OVERRATED* and *OVERPRICED* for sure. I much prefer the VMagic Makeup Sponge! Try it! And don't forget to dunk it in lots of water then squeeze out the excess water and then roll it into a paper towel and squeeze out the rest of the water.
Do NOT run the water over the sponge. You just waste water that way. I put mine in a small glass jar that I have, pour water over it just enough to cover half the sponge. Then I squeeze the sponge while still inside the jar. Just keep squeezing until all the water is gone from the jar and into the sponge. Then take the sponge out of the jar and squeeze the water out of it. Then roll it in a paper towel and squeeze the sponge (in the paper towel) between both your hands so you can squeeze the rest of the water out.
+Sandra L Lovely advice!I'm definitely going to try it and couldn't agree more about the overprice idea on the "beauty blender".
Wait. Was she not wearing foundation at the start? Her skin is flawless!
Sarah Ingerson she'd said she hadalready done the demo before she did the talking part so I think she has foundation on
Sarah Ingerson no as had already put foundation on for the demo before
Thats exactly what I said
I don't understand the hype with the beauty blender. It's over-priced and my makeup looks exactly the same using both sponges
My RT sponge never drips after squeezing a few times too
Since the RT soaks up more product, I would probably opt for the BB over the RT sponge. You pay more upfront, but I'd rather spend the few extra bucks on the BB than on buying $60 foundation more often.
Angelica Guerrero I have the opposite problem, my bb takes in more product.
i guess it just depends on the product you're using
Angelica Guerrero it doesnt soak significant amount tho lol
OMG i was using mine dry.... LOL ...
Lmfaoooooo
***** it says to use it damp on the back of the package lol
Me too!! Lol
Andrea Serrano I actually just purchased this today and on the packaging it says you can use it "damp or dry."
Andrea Serrano they suggest using it damp with liquid/cream products and using it dry with powder products :)
seohora use to sell 2 beauty blenders for $30, which isn't THAT bad, but the beautyblender brand is so greedy they don't anymore.
wow that's pretty worth it, nowadays my Sephora sells one Beauty Blender for $28
Social media hype
+CecyPewgs! in Canada it's $28, it's cheaper in U.S & Europe
+Rome I got the two pack for the $28 a couple weeks ago at a sephora. It came with the liquid cleanser too
+Morrigan Rose I decided not to buy that 2 pack when I saw it because the reviews said they weren't the same size as the normal ones. Were yours the correct size?
Your skin already looks flawless without foundation!
Who's watching in 2017😛😛
HeatherInTheMaking right here girl
HeatherInTheMaking 🙋🏻
Watching in 2019 💁🏼♀️
2021 lol
To avoid the sponge absorbing the foundation you can dab the foundation on your face and blend it rather than dabbing the sponge in the foundation, that tends to stain your sponge also! If you want to check out my first video you can see what I mean!🙂
Your makeup brush containers (in the background) are so cool!
I got the real techniques sponge before getting the beauty blender. I didn't want to spend $25 on a sponge I wasn't sure if love. I have tried tons of dupes (TJMaxx) hasn't multiple brands, but they're all kind of stiff. I got the beauty blender kit (finally), which came with the original pink one, the black one, the mini green eye one & the soap. I think part of me is partial to the RT one because that was my first, do the beauty blender seems different & is a lot more dense. Both great products! The RT one has a more appealing price tag, but i dont think it'll last as long. My cat likes these sponges & I've given her the crappy dupes, but she likes the RT & BB ones best. BB is a pretty expensive car toy, so it's under lock & key once it dries. 💄💋
Hehe my bf's cat and my dogs love to rip apart my beauty blender xD thats why I have to keep it on a box inside my closet. I learnt a huge lesson xD
I'm reading all these comments on how expensive they are outside of the US and let me say that I am so blessed to live in the US.
I'm super jealous, I live in the uk and although we get quite good prices they're no were near as low as the us. Really want to try colour pop too!
Katie C Im sorry. Colourpop is a very good brand. Their lipsticks are amazing.
+Suleyma Higareda I think I'm going to try gosend, as then you can use a US address and get them shipped out here to the UK ☺️ you are super blessed! I'd love to live there
Katie C Oh really. Hopefully it works out for you. ☺
Not that expensive in England!
I love the real techniques sponge so much better. The consistency and shape is cool. :) I'm glad to find someone with dry skin like me. All the beauty gurus seem to have oily skin or combo skin. Keep up the good work girl!!
A trick that I use to get rid of any extra foundation buildup and foundation stains on my sponge is after I wash it really well and get as much Foundation as I can I will then go ahead and give it a quick rinse with a shot of eye makeup remover. For some reason eye make up remover takes out any existing build up and gets rid of all those pesky brown stains. =)
I'll give that a try thanks
Good luck! The type of remover I use is a bi phasic one. I usually use the Neutrogena one or its generic equivalent. 😊
"I'm squeezing it and squeezing it and squeezing it until I feel it's as big as it's going to get"..... 😏. Am I the only vulgar one watching this video and immediately thought of somethings x rated?
+Jen Macones Nope :D
"comes right back to life when you squish it"
Nah fam
That's what she said
Ohh God :3
Another youtuber (Zabrena) actually cut the RT blender in half to see if there was a lot of gunk in the middle of hers and there wasn't. I think she used hers for quite a long time too.
cool! i watched Zebrena as of lately! now I'm gonna watch that episode!! 👍🏽Mahalo!
I actually own the Real Techniques blender and it's awesome!
Same
+Pippa Murray 👍🏽
Is it better than the cheap 1$ dupes or is it about the same? (Does it absorb as much foundation?)
+theawesomegoalie31 its a lot better!
abbie yates thanks! :)
Watching this in 2016
SAME
Same
same
same!!!
Same! It's so funny how Google was acting all crazy back than, all these UA-camrs didn't know how to reply lol 😂 Crazy how time flies!
I have a Real Techniques sponge and I feel that it's okay..... I honestly think that people hype it up more than what its worth. I haven't tried the Beauty Blender but, after having 3 or 4 Real Techniques sponges, I want to splurge at bit and buy the Beauty Blender. The RT sponge I feel soaks up way too much product and can leave my concealer looking patchy. Plus, in Ireland, the Rt sponge isn't that cheap so I think it's only alright.
I used a beauty blender a while back and loved it,I really love my rt sponge but I'm actually thinking about going back to the beauty blender. They really are worth the money.
+Beauty With Melinda yeah I finally bought a beauty blender a few days ago and it's amazing! I love it way more than the RT sponge
Katie Flanagan I don't know what you're talking about... I used the Beauty Blender and I really think the Real Techniques is better :|
I've never had it soak up much product. But I did find it applied my makeup best after is applied foundation with it a few times if I didn't clean it between uses. It might be the cleaner you use. My RT sponge was destroyed the first time with my cleaner and then I changed to a vegan one and it was great.
I apply foundation/concealer by putting on some on the back of my hand then using my finger to put large dots all over my face, then using the beauty blender to buff it. I notice you dip the sponge on the foundation. Might use less foundation if you apply it to your face first and then buff? But I know some people prefer not to touch the foundation because you can transfer some of the oils in your fingers to the makeup...
You could just use a regular foundation brush instead of your fingers and then buff it in with the sponge. :)
I know! I was thinking the same thing. I thought it was kind of a waste to put it on the sponge and not the face.
Swissco has a sponge like this and it works like a dream! It's $5.99, and i like it wayyy better than the real techniques one! You should try it! :)
You should have did a demo with half your face with the beauty blender and the other thing on your other side of your face and which one do u suggest
I've been using mine dry for the 2 months that I've had them... did NOT know that you had to wet these things! If I was happy with my foundation look before, I can't wait to try it out properly tomorrow morning!
I swear by Real Techniques brushes! I'm not a professional make up artist, more like a make up enthusiast that only started wearing make up seriously in the last 2 years (I'm 22 now... don't judge!). I'm pretty cheap when it comes to stuff like this, but I'd have to say that these brushes and this sponge in particular have not let me down so far! I think I paid $15 CAN for two of these sponges, so that's not too bad... Very pleased to see that I'm not the only one who's happy with the results of their product!
If you use it with a setting spray to wet it instead of just water your foundation comes out amazing! Try it :)
+AllieSays I will have to try it :) Now that I've started wetting mine like I'm supposed to, my foundation application is even better! I can only imagine what using a setting spray would do to the longevity of the foundation. Thanks for the tip!
All this while I was using my beauty blender DRY!!!!
Little Miss Perfection we did that for the longest time!
Lol same here hahaha
+Little Miss Perfection US TOO
+Little Miss Perfection im subscribing to you
+Little Miss Perfection I know it should be wet but sometimes I just don't want to do it lol
I'm using my beauty blender for more than a week now and I say it's the best makeup tool I ever have.. Never regret purchasing it despite its price.
I totally know what you mean about squeezing the sponge and having water still come out. I always get as much water out as I can and then wrap it in a hand towel and give it one last good squeeze. the towel soaks up the rest of the water in the sponge and leaves it dripless.
I have the RT sponge and if you dot the foundation around your face (not two or three big dots, but like a bunch of smaller dots evenly spread out) its solves the problem of the sponge absorbing your foundation. I use much less foundation using this method rather than putting the foundation directly onto the sponge. It probably halves the amount of product I use :)
When using sponges to apply foundation you should dab your foundation on your face and then go in an blend it with the sponge, that way it doesn't "drink up" your foundation.
Your review was spot on! Couldn't agree more with what you said. A good tip I found for using the real techniques sponge, is to dot the foundation on your face instead of picking it up off your hand. It really helps to keep the foundation on your face instead of getting sucked up into the sponge.
still gonna buy the real techniques sponge instead cause its cheaper. Maybe one day if i have $30 to spare, i'll get a beauty blender. Lol.
new subscriber btw. After watching this vid i like you already (=
Itms actually $20 :p
Depends on where you live
In Singapore its 30
It's not 20 everywhere ! In Singapore its 30
Check on Amazon! I got 2 for 22 dollars and change.
i just bought the bliss pro and it is exactly like the beauty blender
www.lovehairlove.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1831
You have perfect skin without makeup!! Lucky you ! So gorgeous!
I know, really. Seriously, perfect. I actually thought she looked better before, purely for the fact that the tone was more natural. I still only notice because I had to focus really hard just to tell the difference during application.
Wow you have such flawless skin!!
you totally look like Leighton Meester! (Blaire from Gossip Girl!) So pretty :)
Just subbed to your channel. Great video!! Really enjoying all your videos and OMG your skin is seriously amazing even with no makeup! When you cut to the demo I was all 'wait shes already wearing foundation?' You're so pretty! Loved this video!!
Something landed me here! Showing this video in suggestions, I just popped it open only to see how Kathleen looked 3years before n how she spoke n all.. Kathleen u r the same! Real people stay same no matter how many years pass!! Love u 😘
Just bought this yesterday, I am sooo excited to try it out as I've never tried a sponge before but I don't wanna waste my foundation :p Ill try it as soon as I need to put my makeup on!
OMYGOD I bought yesterday and it's soo awesome. I didn't even have to watch this video to know that. it blends so well and leaves the best finish ever.
My god ur skin is soo freakin perfect! I thought u had foundation on nd was like "what?" When you started putting more on! 😍
Your skin without foundation is still absolutely perfect!
This is one of the funniest reviews ever. "Is it a dupe??? I dunno!! Let's find out~" that really got me hahaha
Great video! I feel like Beauty Blender is the best bet. Even though its $20 up front vs $6 for the Real Techniques, the BB soaks up less foundation, so in the end it's a better value.
makeup prices in europe are insane compared to america... i bought that real techniques sponge for 8 pounds... which would probably be around 16 dollars and same with any other makeup products - double the price :/
That's because the exchange rate is £1 = $1.58 so £8 in dollars would be $12.64. Even though this works out that it would still be slightly cheaper in Europe :) x
really? I got it for £5.99
4.99 from amazon
i got mine for 10 dollars like wtf everything is so expensive here
You are 100% spot-on about product/water retention...I love my real techniques sponge but I do notice that I need an extra little bit of product to achieve the same look.
Hahaha i just died during that moment of silence and then u started squeezing both of them at the same time LOL i laughed too hard.
I was thinking of purchasing the real techniques sponge because I tore my beauty blender with my nail and while searching for a comparison video, and when I saw Kathleen lights made a video about I jumped on it because I know she's gonna be mad detailed and honest !
To clean it, use neem or tea tree oil soap...African Black soap also...
Love your lip stick, beautiful on you...I use both. After putting on foundation with a brush, I go over it with the blenders...some good habits hard to break
What is the shade or color?
normally I'm not able to watch a hole review but i was able to watch yours all the way to the end! the way you speak and intrepid stuff is really good :)
LOVE your lipstick color.....what brand and name is it? Thanks so much for the review
Tutorial for this face and eyes is needed!!! OMG cannot get over how pretty you are, LOVE your accent omg you are perfect!!!
The real techniques version give you more coverage.
I thought you had foundation on at the beginning of the demo YOU HAVE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SKIN!! please do a skin care videoo SUCH A PRETTY SKIN, subscribed right away
Hey, try using a fuller coverage concealer, the purple tones of your eyeshadow brings out your under eyes and it kinds make you look like you slightly have a black eye 😀
Come through Miss Lil PoundCake!
DRAAAG HA
Hi Kathleen i am your avid most loyal fan all rbe way from the Philippines. I've been following you ever since and been telling my girl friends who loves makeup to watch your videos. I love the fact that you are so beautiful inside and out. Best regards to ur hubby and more videos to come! Take care.💖❤️❤️
My beauty blender is not my favorite because its harder to wash and the pink color is coming off, makes you wonder if you get that dye on your face and if its harmfull in any way? The RT sponge , after i wash it i put it in a towel and squeese , gets all the water out :) i do that with the beautyblender too because i broke one of them doing it with my hands
Seriously, my beauty blender has such bad stains and I cannot get them out. I swear it's impossible to get completely clean.
Kaisee Martell I know,right!!!
Use Dish Liquid and Olive oil! It makes the sponges look almost to its original state! (:
I've been using beauty blenders for about a year now and I wash it every 3 days. I've never had a problem with the pink coming out or it falling apart unless I'm just not paying attention and skewer it with my nails lol.
Dial Bar Soap Get Mines Clean .
I've never used the beauty blender because I felt it was too expensive, but I used the real techniques one for the first time today and I LOVE it! It is more kind of memory foam material though rather than spongey.
Which lip colour are you wearing? It is so beautiful :)
Been stylist/make-up/acrylic nails, since 1985. The most important things are cleansing, moisturizing, & blending! Always take a look at make-up line at neck, or where you stop applying. Blend with sponge, brushes, depends on type make-up you wear. Use shades close to natural skin tone, brighten with highlight finish powders. Choose blush wisely, never too orange or dark. Blend! Also need to wash brushes, sponges, etc. frequently, they carry alot of bacteria. If you have make-up/nails/hair cuts salon, take a quick sweep around salon. Are table tops clean, work areas, is there a jar of blue sanitizer on stations, all? If you spot a problem, cancel, leave! Also, take your own nail files in, Fungus infect.!
In The UK the Real Techniques sponge is about £9 and the Beauty Blender is only like £5 (I got it from Avon).
I've never tried ANY real techniques but I really want to buy the brushes, except they cost like £12 each and I can get really similar brushes from Wilkos for like £5.
+Sophia Floyd ooooo I'll have a pop in soon and see if I can find it reduced anywhere.
Get the gift sets ( works out cheaper)
+Amy Gregory ps. Super drug is always cheaper than boots
+Ellie Dixon I bought yesterday Techniques sponge for £5.99 in superdrug:)
real techniques sponge is £5.99 in superdrug
The miracle sponge has the flat side for areas like your nose and eyes, the round size for the larger areas of your face and the point covers imperfections.
They have this at Walmart for $4 lol
I'm a little behind the times. I just discovered the Real Techniques sponge. I read somewhere that after squeezing out the sponge, you can squeeze in in a towel to get more water out. I've done that and not had any problems with dripping. I am loving the RT sponge! I agree with you on the color. 😀
I just bought the Real techniques sponge yesterday =D About replying the comments... sometimes the option "reply" doesn't show up for me either. That might be a bug or sth... Thanks for this video! Xo's!!!!!!!
It happens when the person you are trying to reply to is not linked up with Google+ I'm pretty sure, just to let you know :3
Took me ages to figure out but to reply I just click the message haha
thats because while commenting if we turn replies off, others cant reply to our comments.
MUSIC LYRIC I just figured this out tonight lol
You are so great, you crack me up often. I love your tutorials you do great makeup and you make it enjoyable to watch.
I've been stuck on UA-cam lately, bad! You are the 1st I've subscribed too!!!
I love my beauty blender, I actually have both the real techniques one and beauty blender and prefer the BB 10x more. I agree, the RT one soaked up too much of my foundation and at the end of my application my skin just looked damped, not flawless at all.
You could quite possibly be my new favorite UA-camr.
Here in Australia the real tec sponges are $16.99 And the crushers seperate are $20 and in a pack it's $48.99 which sucks!! Cause it's so exspensive
it's $15.10 on the RT websites for a pack of two, try that out! I'm Australian too (:
I've always wanted to go to Australia. I think it's one of the prettiest countries, you lucky Aussies!
New Zealand around 30 dollars for single brush the sponge is 20dollars the packs are 50dollar and the eyeshadow brush is 17dollars so u think that is expensive Ma neighbour someone feel my pain
+Courtney Williams In Brazil the real techniques is R$38 and the beauty blender is R$ 99
Ikr!! Then i got mine in kmart. They r reslly cheep in kmart but in Myer it's like 😱😱. Though i still luv myer. I actually like the galleria cause tht have all the branded shops which is a little like myer but cheep
your skin is gorgeous! i'm so jelly how smooth and even your skin is
What lipstick are you wearing?? It's gorgeous!! :O
I love my RT blender/sponge! ! Wouldn't change it for anything, and FYI ive had mine forEVER and it looks brand new!
Thank you for this very thorough review. But I still don't know which to buy! Ha! I'd better start with the inexpensive one. Just have to say, you are a beautiful young woman. Your skin without foundation looks so flawless. I love the makeup you have on. It's beautiful on you, but I dare say, you don't need any makeup at all.
the real t one works wonders for my foundation, I've never tried a beauty blender, but I've had my rt one for months now I clean it about once a week and it's just now starting to wear down . I would highly suggest it!
Alyssa Prince thank you, Alyssa. I bought a two-pack from Ulta, and I really love the RT. I haven't had it very long so am glad to hear they hold up well. I am washing it regularly. I see no need to buy the more expensive one.
+Sherbe Lee hey! Wondering how it is after you've had it for awhile !
Shelby Lynn I REALLY love the RT sponges and cannot imagine ever doing without them. They are holding up great and are so easy to use. Very soft, too. I highly recommend them. I bought a 2-pack, so I alternate between them. I wash them frequently (after every use actually) with any liquid soap I have. I dab the foundation on my face, then use the sponge to apply and blend. I use less foundation that way, I think. Really great product. I had bought 2 inferior knock knock-offs prior to the RT. They were hard and not good. I hope you enjoy them!
+Sherbe Lee thank you so much!
Most flawless skin I've ever seen omg!
I've broke UA-cam I tried going back a bit but it didn't work it restarted it and it keeps going even tho it should have finished it now says 11:43 help me
Same thing happened to me.
The Honorable One
Its really weird
Close it then open
Happens to me all the time
Abigail Jayne
how does one fix this issue?
Ugh your skin and eyebrows are amazing!
Kind of a random question but what do you think a good foundation would be for dry, sensitive skin?? Some foundations make my skin look patchy and flakey and I hate it.
Makeup forever hd!!
Kiana Nicole Revlon Colorstay has a specific formulation for dry skin! Just double check the bottle, because they also have a formulation for combo oily skin.
Make Up For Ever HD foundation!!
Kiana Nicole If you can get your hands on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, do! It's great for dry sensitive skin!
Kiana Nicole Too faced Born this way is great. I have dry skin to and I really like that foundation.
I like to see her make the sponges move and bop about HAHAHA love your vids Kathleen XD
I know exactly what you mean. I can't reply to any comments either nor on someone else's page. Ex: I f I thought someone's comment was funny, I can't even lol
Wait...you didn't have foundation on this whole video?? You have some insanely lovely skin lady! This was also a great, honest, and in depth review. I don't feel as guilty for taking the plunge into beauty blender world.
Do you really have to wet thoses sponges every time you use them ???
Yes.
+shasha shasha YES!!!
no, you don't HAVE to but they do work better wet in my opinion. some other people say that they don't wet their sponges because it sheers out their foundation too much so it's really just a preference
you dont HAVE to wet it i use it both ways it does sheer a bit when wet. with my under eye concealer i use it dry but i put the product on the skin then use the spounge so it doesnt absorb it. so as for the real techniques you can do it either way. it is made to be able to use wet. my point its not going to have any horrible reprocussion if u like to use it dry
No you don't have to wet them it depend on the type of foundation you are using, so if you are using a liquid foundation (especially if it is water based) then you are going to want to have the sponge wet so that your liquid foundation doesn't soak into the sponge, you have that water in there to kind of act as a barrier against it soaking it all up and it depends on the type of finish you want, if you want a fuller coverage then you could apply with a brush or your hands and then just go over with a dry sponge to really push it into your skin and you can use them to apply setting powder also with it being dry this is where the real techniques one works better as you have that flat side to apply your finishing powder under your eyes and on your cheek above your jaw but under your jaw line...hope this helps I am not an expert it is just things I have picked up which I find work for me and as women I think we should always help each other out
Omg! You don't even need foundation, your skin is PERFECT!
I think the "bounciness" of the sponges are because the beauty blender is made of latex and the RT sponge is made of polyurethane foam. (That's why I can't get the beauty vlenxer- I'm very allergic to latex.)
***** Interesting. I've always heard the beauty blender was made of latex. But you're right! I just looked it up on the official site. It is latex free. Thanks for the info! (I like my RT sponge, though :P)
***** It's been working for me! I'm probably going to film a video of my updated foundation routine using it, because I used to just use a brush. But I like the sponge so much better! I hope it works for you. :)
***** I don't typically do that... But I will check out your channel and sub you if I enjoy your videos. :) You seem nice.
Beauty blender is latex free :)
Amber Raymond Thanks :)
I really do love you Kathleen! You're hilarious! Can't wait for you to get to 15k x
anyone knows what lipstick she's using? it's beautiful.
I was wondering the same but it looks exactly like Rebel by Mac
Christian Tesfamichael oh yes... it does!
This is such a good review. I forgot how good of a review this is. Ugh. I just love you. That is all.
I love my real technique sponge 💁🏽
I have both and for some reason i find my self using the real technique sponge. I think its the same that just makes me love it so much. The flat area makes applying foundation so easy.
in indonesia beauty blender is turn like 40 bucks and the real tech is 10 bucks
Its arounf $48 in brunei for the BB and $15 for the RT UGHGHHH
In India beauty blender is more than 2000k which is my pocket money for a month
YALL IM TELLING YOU IVE GONE THRU FOUR REAL TECHNIQUES SPONGES SINCE SUMMER THEY ARE LITERAL SPONGES I ALWAYS WET IT BEFORE USE AND WASHED IT IMMEDIATELY AFTER AND IT STILL STAINED AND LOOSES ITS COLOR I JUST GOT MY BB PRO (BLACK) IN THE MAIL AND USED IT ON MY HAND LET ME TELL YOU ITS MADE OF SOME SPECIAL MATERIAL NOTHING LIKE THE RT SPONGE IT. THE BB IS VERY BOUNCY YOU'LL LOVE IT AND YOU CAN JUST TELL THAT THE QUALITY IS THERE AND YES THE RT SPONGE REALLY SOAKS UP YOUR FOUNDATION
LMAO this costs $20 here in NZ :'(
the real techniques one
The travel size beauty blender costs 25€ here sooo, probably have to order it online. lol :D
+celene aitchison damn
awful aye!
+celene aitchison you can get a dupe on bay for like a dollar, same quality
I recommend that you also try the SOHO brand sponge! Some people said it was the best dupe for the Beauty Blender. I have it and love it a lot!
The SOHO makeup sponge is sold in Walmart and Walgreen in the US btw.
You said the Real techniques sponge was 10x cheaper...the Beauty blender isn't $60. Sorry I know what you meant, that just bothered me
She was being sarcastic😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒
I am calm.I said I knew what she meant.
+Caitlin Gyurina yeh I thought the same, too! over exaggerating in her videos. 😆
It helps if you dot the foundation/concealer on your face then blend it out with the real techniques sponge. It doesn't soak directly into the sponge that way. I learned this little tip and I don't need a lot of product now.
For the price the cons aren't really that bad!
Your supposed to use the flat side for under eye and nose area the pointy side for blemishes and the round side for all over!! Read the package people.....
Jesus not even the person doing the review read the package....
I don't think there's a right or wrong way to use the RT sponge. I personally use mine exactly how she used it on the demo and it leaves my foundation flawless..
I think anyone should be able to use it which ever way works for them
Adorable baby
Lol you can use it any way you choose...I swear if the cosmetics police come pick me up for using the flat side on my whole face I'm gonna be pissed...
who's watching in 2016
I'm so happy you used the urban decay naked skin foundation in this demo. This is the exact foundation I would be using with this product if I would buy it. I was debating whether or not to go with a beauty blender because at ulta the makeup artist that applied it on me (that worked for urban decay) said to apply it with a brush. I just find that it caked up somehow with a brush and I was wondering if it was my skin or the utensil itself. Thanks for the review!
How long does the miracle complexion last until you need to get another one?
About 2 or 3 months, depending on how much you use it
I've been using mine for about 6 months, I don't wear foundation daily though lol. 😊
I used mine everyday for a month and a half and it ripped 😕
6 months being used daily. And I washed it every second or third day. It did not rip. I just wanted a new one because of hygienic reasons.
I used it almost everyday...I washed it everytime before use. Uauallt it rips after 1 and half months.
I was trying to figure out who you reminded me of (looks-wise) and then I realized you reminded me of Dianna Agron! You have gorgeous skin! Honestly, you don't even need foundation!
That's what I was ganna say she doesn't need foundation :) she kinda looks like britney spears lil sister
