My first smoker is today! This will help a lot, especially number 1 and 5. Wish me luck!
Good luck, alongside everything Gabe mentioned, don't back down even if you get scared. It's mostly will against will in there. Just have the mindset that you won't allow yourself to get bullied and that''s gonna carry you quite a lot, especially in a 1st fight. Expanding your belly when breathing in through the nose as deep as you can and exhaling as much air as you can, all at once is gonna do wonders for you in the corner or even when waiting for them to call your name. Also, please try to stay conscious of your general breathing throughout the bout itself as much as you can, it's gonna improve your all around game by at least a level.
Good luck man
Let's get that W bro
Good luck bro! Update after
Good luck bro!
IM SCARED! BUT LETS GO BOYS! 🥊💪🏻💪🏻
I still remember my first warm up over 10 years ago...I've never done it since or before but first thing my coach said was right cross on the pads (everyone including my opponent watching in the back)and I straight up punched like 5 inches to my left of the pad and nearly fell over 🤣 adrenaline Is a crazy thing.
😀😀 I feel you :D
P.s performed well after and got a win
Thank you so much! Gabriel really needed this!
My first Pro fight is next week! Thanks for the video man, always helping us young fighters evolve !
thanks for all the info you put out , its very good and your channel is gold too!
Thx for sharing.. you gave away secrets that I learned the hard way.. you’re the best
Man.. I had that warm up exhaustion in my first interclub the other day and I really wondered what was wrong with me, really messed with my head and ultimately my performance. So good to hear that it’s normal. Will keep in mind during my actual fight next month💪
Thank you so much. Exactly the 6. Tipp is super. I experience IT so offen. And Thema my Body gets warm and I'm ready to bang 5times stronger than before :)
Great tips! #6 Warm up beforehand is critical! #1 is hard for people especially first time, veterans most so combat vets understand the mindset and that’s once the bell rings for round start war has begun until it rings to mark the end. Gotta use that mindset but also control it.
Amazing tips for the first fight someone will have Gabriel, this will be really helpful for me when I get my first fight, it should happen in the spring of 2024!
thank you for the last tip. i am more confident since pre warming up at sparrings
Have my first smoker even this Sunday, video couldn't have come at a better time
Had my first amateur bout in Sunday. Watched alot of your content and it certainly helped me with my Victory, if you see this, thanks.
First mma fight is April 27th, definitely nervous/ stoked, thank you for this!
Best of luck. The first is crazy with the nerves.
Focus on hard training. Don't cut corners and you will see good results.
Best of luck, champ
Good video, and ur right a lot of coaches don't tell u these things.
Hey varga I love the content, Just wanted to know what happened to the consultations and zoom calls? I really want to book one with you!
Gracias 🙏
In 4 hours…. LETS GET ITTTTTTT
In my first fight (full contact) it was a draw and at the end I had to run to the bathroom. in the fight and before I was okay but at the end it seemed like I relaxed haha🤣🤣🤣greetings from Argentina
I lost my first fight 1 week ago and would have love to watch this before (specially number 6). 2 more important tips: 1) Rest a lot the week before 2) Check your gear.
Tomorrow is my first boxing fight. Let´s get it!
Same for me brotha
@@lennsteendijk7854 good luck man
My first is coming up, PKB, wish me luck
I started kickboxing 2 months ago and I want to fight in maybe 2 months from now thank you for giving us all these advices I hope you make more of these videos
I recommend You to do an exhibition before an amateur fight thats the way i do it and the exhibition teach me a lot of thing that are useful in a amateur fight.Sorry for My inglish i'm Uruguayan
My tip for you is to be patient and practise your skills first, maybe 1 year will be enough
@@Sacciuiguai thats a great advice
@@Sacciuiguai i dont really care that much if I lose or win Im mostly trying to get the experience. Im still gonna try my best to win
@@palerewinit‘s great that you‘re that passionate about it. Maybe that’s the right way for you. But I did the same and I can recommend if you‘re realizing it was way too early don’t force yourself to get back in the ring too soon. I fought, was totally scared and not good enough, got Ko‘d and signed up for a fight like 6 weeks later. That one was horrible. So if its a good experience, take it and move on. But if it’s a bad one, don‘t blame yourself, you got so much time to get better ❤️💪
ive seen your videos on cardio a few times but have you done a vidoe on how many times a week should you do cardio to prepare?
Got my first kickboxing fight June 15th, facing a guy 3-2 fit me first fight but my coach takks highly of me … definitely scared a little
It’s today man…best of luck and way to even step in the ring 🤙🏽
Tip 6 always happens hahaha. Embrace it, and know youll be ok in the ring
Hey Gabriel i have a question about hydration after hard sessions do you take any electrolyte supplements or drink any sports drinks?
🙏💪🥊
My first kickboxing fight is tomorrow so this is perfect timing
Let's get that win man, wish you the best!
How did you do?
@@nwbdirge1198 lost a close decision but I’ll be back for the win
How did you do?
@@southpaw3154lost a 27-30 decision but I feel I did good
I have my first fight in 2 weeks
First fight on the 6th of july 👀
Yo wasup
I got my first fight amateur fight next week.
This'll really help me get better.
When training in private i always do your workouts, and it's really working. But could you do a pylometric workout if you haven't done one already, or a 10-20 minute full body calisthenics workout for martial arts? I kinda know how i train my skills, but with calisthenics i think i need a guide and i can't afford a coach.
If you could do that, it would help me so much.
how’d u do?
😮
Almost gonna turn 30 and still want my first fight. Is this something I still can do? I feel old but very technical.
Absolutely. Just prepare properly (as everyone should)
30 isn't old and you can definitely get some fights in.
Please do it, you won’t regret. I did my first MT fight at 48yo.
Fuck the match
My sparring partner himself tries to kill me everyweek
I have my first fight in 6 days. Im definetely scared and now doubting myself because I didnt really cross train.. Just a few runs once in a while
How did you do mate?
@@southpaw3154 I won. Faced an opponent who didn't have as much experience and a style which was easy for me
Well done bro 🙏
I lost
